03/11/2023: Great food at great service at a great price in great location. Generous portions, don't underestimate the depth of the soup plates, they fit much more food than you might imagine. Very quick in filleting the trout, which arrived with courgettes. Highly recommended!

23/12/2023: There is a myriad of restaurants in Sirmione, so we chose one that offered a few dishes other than pizza and pasta for vegetarians. Bar Moderno, like most others, was still quite busy with day trippers early on a Sunday night, but they were able to accommodate us indoors. I started with parmigiana melanzane, and was struck by how tiny the portion was. The taste was nice, but a bit dry and not a patch on the one I cook at home. My main course were gnocchi with rocket and salmon. Very good flavour, but a bit more salmon would have been even better. My partner enjoyed his first course of ravioli with tomato, basil and ricotta, and followed with a Greek salad. It was good, but not particularly Greek in its composition. We than shared a delicious pistachio mousse, covered with lots of chopped pistachios - probably the best dish of our meal. We had a glass each of an excellent Valpolicella Ripasso, which was mellow and velvety. Our bill was EUR85 (incl. a rather hefty EUR3 coperto per person), which I thought was overpriced, but the everywhere innSirmione is expensive. Service was ok.

02/04/2024: Excellent experience. Very cozy place with an extensive menu. I ate the local fish dish Lucce and it was one of the best versions I ever ate. Also a very good wine list. Recommended.

31/03/2024: We had dinner here last night. I ordered the pasta with seafood. When the noodles arrived, a very pungent smell hit my nose. In my opinion, a fish or seafood should only smell of the sea, that shows quality and also that it is fresh. The only thing that, in my opinion, shouldn't be served was what was served yesterday - it smelled very, very strongly of... I left more than half of it, and when we served it, no one asked whether it was tasty (as if the waiter knew that it wasn't good anyway). Then we immediately asked for the bill and left. Our impression is that you are not really welcome as a tourist.

06/04/2024: We come to Sirmione at least 3 times a year......and every time we eat here because in addition to eating WELL, WE FEEL AT HOME! We want to thank GIULIA GIANNI AND CORRADO.

30/03/2024: Wonderful and cozy place to enjoy a good dinner. I went with my Spanish family and we understood each other very well since the service was very attentive. The Maccheroni, the Carillera and the Tiramisu are the best. We will return without a doubt!!☺️☺️☺️

24/03/2024: Only recommended! Great restaurant with a view of Lake Garda and the old town, beautifully located, right next to the Sirmione steamer pier. The food is fantastic and there is also gluten-free pizza! The service is very attentive, friendly and charming. The restaurant is very popular; reservations are recommended.

22/09/2023: There was no-one at the tables when we arrived at lunch time. Surprising as the location at the end of Via Catullo with a view of the lake is lovely. Welcoming waitress took our order. Two other tables became occupied. We had to wait a while for our food- the waitress apologised but we were happy to wait as it’s always a good sign when food isn’t fast. Our appetisers were excellent. I chose burrata with anchovies and candied tomatoes; husband chose white fish carpaccio , radish and turnip yoghurt. We chose the same primi piatti- mushroom ravioli which was perfectly cooked. Highly recommended

04/04/2024: I often go to the other 999 restaurant in Colombare, where I really enjoy it! I wanted to try this at the entrance to the Sirmione castle. For identical products here the prices are a little higher, but this is certainly due to the location in which it is located. A little spartan and much more similar to a bar/ice cream shop than a restaurant.

05/10/2023: Lovely location by the side of the castle and near to the lake. Nice pasta dishes and a good lamb cutlets main, washed down with a few glasses of their pleasant white and red house wines.

27/02/2024: Abbiamo cenato stasera in questo locale. Pizza veramente buona e corposa, dolce spettacolare anche se leggermente sovraprezzo ,servizio ineccepibile. Nel complesso una bellissima esperienza, assolutamente consigliato

05/02/2024: Situato in una piazza centrale, ho mangiato un calzone che era la fine del mondo, mai mangiato così buono! Anche il dolce era buonissimo ma un po' caruccio. Ci tornerei sicuramente!
