19/08/2025: I had the pleasure of dining here and trying the catch of the day (sea bream and sea bass). I have to say the fish was one of the best, if not the best, I've ever eaten. It was fresh and very well cooked. Obviously, be careful of the bones. Highly recommended if you want to eat good, fresh, just-caught fish in a place like Noli, known as a seaside town and its fishermen.

19/07/2025: We booked in January for the end of June/beginning of July, emphasizing that we were a couple with a one-and-a-half-year-old child and needed a crib in the room we chose. After requesting a sea-view room, we were told it was on the first floor with a flight of stairs and no elevator. Despite this obstacle, we decided to accept it anyway in order to have a sea view during our stay, and therefore paid the maximum room rate. Upon arriving at the hotel, the lobby was stiflingly hot. The receptionist told us she had had a high fever and needed antibiotics, and as a result, our son fell ill two days later (we had to call a local private pediatrician to treat him), so we spent the entire "vacation" in the bedroom with the sick child. Two flights of stairs (a very hot space) and a long solarium (a scorching terrace) that we had to walk through to get to the other side of the building, where our room was located. The room was TINY and claustrophobic: the crib was in a makeshift position. The bathroom is embarrassingly large: upon opening the door, it's impossible to use the toilet or bidet. We asked for a room change after two days because it was extremely small and, what's more, the sea view was practically nonexistent (just a glimpse of the side!): we were told that the other rooms were smaller, so we decided to continue adjusting where we were. Having booked in January, we should have had a livable room that would have been worth the huge sum (for that amount, you can stay in five-star hotels!). When requesting a room change, we pointed out that in addition to having a small child, I'm also five months pregnant, so this was a consideration that should be respected (keeping in mind that during our stay, other families were changing rooms frequently). Meals: there was a 30-minute wait between courses (with a small child, it's simply unbearable!). At the end of the ordeal, we politely asked for at least a discount, but the receptionist told us she had to call the hotel owner. We tried calling her, she said, seven times, but there was no answer. Only fifty euros off, we pay and go home. Only two positives: beachfront location with a lido and friendly and helpful cleaning staff. Not worth a penny!

02/07/2025: Definitely a fantastic location Endless wait at the reception with a suffocating heat without being counted for 20 minutes or more, luckily we experienced the change of staff at the reception and the second employee was definitely better. Arrival at 11 and rightly we were confirmed access to the rooms at 2.30 pm, only to be late. The rooms are almost new, but claustrophobic especially the bathroom. The restaurant area is not air conditioned (despite the presence of splits) and was already a furnace in the morning. Embarrassing breakfast = I won't comment on the dessert that I don't eat, but salami, very tired ham, worse cheese, dry bacon.... And then I wonder why the eggs are hard boiled and not scrambled. However, fantastic location, excellent beach, but many things to improve especially if you want highly demanding customers willing to pay

18/08/2025: A very good restaurant, with welcoming and friendly staff. I ate spaghetti with clams, pizzas, and salmon pasta. Really good. The desserts were also top-notch. Simplicity, efficiency, and hot dishes served with a smile by the water!!! I recommend it without hesitation. 😊 Thank you so much for this wonderful time.

30/07/2025: I've been waiting for the pizza at Rio for a while now, and I can confirm it's supremely delicious! The service is fast and friendly! We went on a Tuesday night, and by 7:00 PM, it was already fully booked, but we were lucky to be among the last two people to get a table, so I recommend either arriving very early (it opens at 6:30 PM) or making a reservation. Location on the seafront, a bit chaotic with traffic during rush hour (the level crossing is just ahead), but that's the way it is. Well done!!

11/07/2025: I don't know how some people say the pizza is good. But have you ever tasted a good pizza?! Poor quality products. I recommend Alassio. It has one of the best pizzerias on the Riviera.

24/07/2025: Friendly staff. Vegetarian biryani und lamb tikka masala were very good. Vegetable curry was kind of dry and not too inspiring. Butter chicken was quite sweet.

20/07/2025: We returned two years after our last visit. The place is beautiful, with a relaxing atmosphere and very clean. A remarkable selection of dishes. The menu is well-rounded, even with percentages indicating whether and how spicy the dishes are. Excellent value.

08/09/2025: Good vibes along the pier, with upbeat music and a balanced selection, generous appetizers to accompany the Spritz selection, and the helpful and friendly staff. Excellent value and recommended for a relaxing evening in the harbor.

23/08/2025: Delicious cocktails, there are non-alcoholic ones for teenagers and non-drinkers. The staff is attentive. Everything is top notch 🫶 I recommend 100%. Pleasant, unobtrusive music 🪉

22/08/2025: I'd like to start by saying that my review is meant to be constructive. I've always been curious about this restaurant in Pietra Ligure, but I'd never had the chance to go. Today I finally managed to organize an event with some friends. Having spent many years vacationing in Spain and the USA, I have a fair amount of experience with Tex Mex and hamburgers, and I've read many favorable reviews. I had very high expectations, but unfortunately, they weren't met. First, I ordered sangria, but I had to send it back immediately because it was simply low-quality red wine with pieces of fruit. I called the waiter and explained what was written, and the carafe was immediately replaced (kudos to the staff) with some good beer. Next, we had chili con carne, but again, it was a disappointment. It was a simple spicy black bean soup, and unfortunately, there wasn't even a hint of meat in it. As I mentioned, having spent many years in Spain and the USA, it's unfortunately far from real chili. Unfortunately, the meat fajtas didn't fare any better. The meat was good quality, but whoever cooked it probably thought they were making a tagliata, because instead of thin strips of meat and vegetables, the whole thing was presented with meat and vegetables cut into thick, thick slices that were impossible to enjoy inside the tortillas. Furthermore, there was no grated cheddar, guacamole, or pico de gallo. Unfortunately, the dishes I ordered gave me the feeling of being made without soul, without passion, just for the sake of it, and it's a real shame because the place deserves it: the quality of the meat is good, and the wait staff is very friendly. Again, my criticism is intended as constructive criticism to give people the opportunity, if they so choose, to improve. The booking app is excellent.

20/07/2025: Da vittoria si va per mangiare funghi pesto e coniglio alla ligure . Se cercate cibo raffinato passate oltre e una trattoria dove ancora si mangia benissimo e si spende poco.

19/04/2025: Trattoria with many years of experience, very popular during lunch time. Even though I have been going there for many years, I have unfortunately had to recently encounter a decrease in the courses that can be ordered, in the sense of a smaller choice of options available (only two first courses, only two second courses/side dishes, etc. etc.). It is also a good idea, especially if you are a foreigner, to keep in mind that the workers' menu is not always available, and not for everyone, given that we, for example, despite not having had anything special for lunch, were charged for everything, including water, à la carte (with prices that were in any case absolutely acceptable and not incongruous, given that the food was genuine and cooked by hand). Service a little rushed and sometimes summary. The restaurant has few seats, so it is advisable, even if there are only a few of you, to book.

19/08/2025: A pleasant discovery in the center of Savona. A pizzeria offering gluten-free dough (+€1.50) of excellent quality (not dry or hard, but soft and tasty). I had dinner with my celiac girlfriend, and we were amazed by the celiac-friendly preparation. The staff paid great attention to the preparation (separate ingredients and separate toppings) and the cooking (in an empty oven with a baking tray). Excellent ingredients and reasonable prices. Highly recommended. PS. The dough isn't made in-house, but rather a frozen base, but it's truly excellent, one of the best I've ever had.

11/08/2025: The pizza is good, even whole wheat. The staff is friendly and quick. Takeout or not, it's worth a try.

14/08/2025: We ate on the platform overlooking the sea, a unique atmosphere. As for the food, however, we were disappointed with the options: either the set menu or the off-menu options were very expensive (justified by the quality of the fish). The service was a bit lacking, but the house wine was very good.

13/08/2025: The restaurant overlooks the harbor, but with a reservation, you can dine on a beautiful barge on the water. The fixed-price dinner menu is €44 (appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert - drinks not included), which they decide based on the catch of the day (so they say). They also offer second courses of your choice. Fast and friendly service. The quality/price ratio is a bit high for the food we ate. All in all, a positive experience.

25/08/2025: Quick lunch on the seafront: We stopped for lunch at this beach, attracted by the variety and uniqueness of the dishes on the menu (clearly displayed on a blackboard along the promenade). The wait to order was just right in my opinion (about 5-10 minutes), considering the place was busy at the time. Furthermore, the manager served us with a professionalism and kindness that isn't always offered (especially at the end of the season in a touristy and crowded environment). We ordered a plate of trofie with pesto and a plate of ravioli filled with ricotta and lemon, topped with red shrimp tartare and julienned zucchini. I was a little skeptical about the fish dish, as we often end up eating disjointed dishes with ingredients that taste very bland, but I was completely wrong. Every flavor was enhanced and the combination was perfect. We were truly satisfied and didn't feel heavy (a sign of the pasta being well-cooked and the quality of the ingredients). A special mention also goes to the coffee, which was excellent: aromatic, full-bodied, and not burnt at all. A great finish to an equally delicious meal! The prices are in line with the quality of the ingredients and current market prices! Summary: Highly recommended for a quick lunch or a longer dinner!
