05/10/2025: We have been here twice, the first time with another couple and it was a pleasant dinner and the food was good. Tonight I ordered Tuna Tatake. When it arrived, it was cold, raw and had a torched sear, only on the edges of the chunk, a VERY light sear, no sesame seeds, and no soy sauce. Served this way, makes it not Tuna Tatake. The dish Tuna Tatake, is a hot seared, sliced piece of raw tuna, with the center cooked to rare, not raw. I told the waitress that i would like it taken back to be seared and she just argued that it was the way it is suppose to be. A few minutes later, the owner/chef came over and asked what the problem was. I told him that I asked for it to go back to be seared,as tuna tatake should be, he also just argued that it was served the way it should be. First of all, if a customer asks for more cooking time, it should be done without arguement. Instead I had to try to defend myself that if the dish is called Tuna Tatake it should be served like Tuna Tatake. He only said it is the way it is done it Italy. Never did either of them offer to reconcile the problem, to cook it more. That was the biggest issue. Talking down to a customer, arguing. I asked them to prepare it for me to take home, and I would cook it at home. I ended up leaving the restaurant, it was so unpleasant to be argued with, it was beyond frustrating. My sweet wife stayed, got her meal to go and when she went to pay he argued with her, angrily showing her the Google results of Tuna tatake and that it was served raw. The pictures show a pan sear and sesame seeds. She could have told him that his had no sesame, or soy, and that it actually says its served rare, not raw, but that was not the point. She told him the biggest problem was his attitude to her husband, that they just argued and didn't listen to the customer or try to help. The sad part is that he cared more about being right than what the customer needed. I hope he can read this with an open mind and humility. I am a trained chef and was just hoping to get my dish prepared the way I expected. I hope you can try to listen to the customer in the future, and try the dish prepared like tuna tarake, or change the description in the menu to represent how the dish is served. 12/09/2025: I stopped by chance after walking along the ancient Via Julia Augusta, which starts nearby. I was amazed by the variety of dishes served. The focaccias we ordered were really good, but the entire counter was spectacular, with something for every taste. Prices were reasonable.

21/08/2025: I stop by every year when I go on vacation. Excellent products, and the kindness and helpfulness are never lacking.

03/11/2025: I've been coming to Finale for biking for three years. Angolo 42 is always on my list at least twice a week. The dishes are always top-notch: both the ingredients and the quality. The staff are always very friendly—highly recommended.

11/10/2025: EDIT FOR FURTHER COMPLIMENTS. Even the weekly workers' menu for 12 euros is something wonderful in terms of quality and quantity. When you pay the bill, you can't believe you ate so much and of such high quality for so little. The 25 euro menu includes one appetizer (there were two of us and they offered a different one as a tasting), a first course, a second course and a side dish, a quarter of wine plus water, and fruit with ice cream or liqueur. The quantities? Incredible. The quality is excellent!!! Honest, precise, and friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 😍

05/10/2025: I made reservations on their website. I walked a mile to get there only to find them closed. I couldn’t get a logical answer as to why they took the reservation while knew they will be closed. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!

16/08/2025: Super friendly and dedicated guys, they've transformed into a second family in just a few days. The food is excellent, with generous portions and well-defined flavors. They're incredibly attentive to their customers.

30/09/2025: We had four fantastic days at Palazzo K. The hostess, Lenny, is incredibly helpful, approachable, and friendly, in short, a very nice woman. The apartment we stayed in was fully equipped, beautiful, and luxurious, and the views were unparalleled. On Saturday evening, we had a delicious meal at their restaurant. Your car is safely parked on their property, and you can take a fantastic hike to a beautiful nature reserve just five minutes away. Thanks, Lenny and Massimo!

29/11/2025: Great food in a lovely setting) The food was absolutely delicious truly excellent. The interior is beautiful, stylish, and very atmospheric, making the place feel special and authentic. It is definitely a tourist spot and quite expensive for what it is, and the service was not particularly attentive. However, all the staff speak English, which makes everything easy for visitors. Despite the price and average service, the amazing food makes it worth a visit. I can recommend this place if you’re in the area and want to enjoy really good Italian cuisine. 🇮🇹🍝

09/11/2025: We didn't feel welcomed, and we left disappointed and bitter, not so much because of the food, although we didn't find it as carefully prepared as usual. But because of how we were treated. When it came to dessert, we asked if there could be traces of peanuts among the ingredients, since there was a person at the table with an allergy. The check was fairly simple, as the biscuit used was a commercial product, but the table manager initially denied having the packaging, then stated that she wasn't required to provide this information... a colleague, overhearing the discussion, brought the packaging with the list of ingredients into the dining room. The dessert was free of traces of peanuts... so why refuse to check? A person with a food allergy doesn't recover, and it can lead to very serious, even fatal, consequences. I've never had a restaurant owner refuse to give me this information when they had the opportunity, especially in a restaurant we frequent often.
