22/07/2025: We chose Pasticceria Profumo for our wedding cake. They were incredibly helpful, both with their advice and with all the practical details. The cake was absolutely delicious, of course!

21/09/2025: A little corner of paradise nestled between the sea and the bike path: Quelli Della Rabina (QDR) is the perfect place for a lunch break with a view. Just steps from the new bike path that runs through Imperia, this little bar-restaurant welcomes you with a relaxed and original atmosphere. The tables made from surfboards immediately give the impression of being catapulted into another world—more carefree, more authentic. The menu? Essential but thoughtful: excellent burgers, tastefully selected beers, and a few surprising wine gems. The drinks are good, the food is better, and you're right by the sea. Another plus: the ample free parking, a rare treat in the area. And then there's Fulvio, the owner. A delightful person, with an overwhelming personality that makes the experience even more authentic. He makes you feel right at home. In short, whether you're on a bike, in a car, or simply looking for a different kind of break, QDR is a must-see.

11/10/2025: Fantastic Stay at Grand Hotel Portovenere! 🌊 I've just had the most magical 3-night stay at the Grand Hotel Portovenere, and I'm already dreaming of going back! This place is an absolute gem, set in a beautifully restored 17th-century convent right on the water's edge. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their kindness and passion for the region truly made our trip special. The food was a highlight every single day. Dining at the Palmaria Restaurant with its stunning panoramic terrace views was an experience in itself. The cuisine was innovative, fresh, and absolutely delicious—a perfect taste of Liguria! Waking up to the view of the colorful harbor and Palmaria Island from our balcony was unforgettable. The hotel's location is perfect, right in the heart of charming Portovenere and with the ferry to the Cinque Terre literally at your doorstep. If you're looking for a luxurious, romantic, and utterly satisfying escape, look no further. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

14/08/2025: An amazing vacation; calling it a hotel is an understatement given the many activities available thanks to the concierge's invaluable advice. We tried the sunset boat excursion with aperitif and an exclusive boat tour of the Cinque Terre. Needless to say, the location is fantastic for visiting the center and the famous church of San Pietro. Close to excellent restaurants, including the Grand Hotel's own: the Palmaria restaurant. The friendly, helpful staff helped make those days and our stay at the Grand Hotel itself a special memory...thanks again!

08/10/2025: We ordered two pizza's for takeaway. Excellent quality and taste, prices were also very reasonable.

27/09/2025: I went for a Neapolitan-style pizza, and it truly lived up to my expectations! A well-made dough, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Gluten development was excellent. The tomato sauce was delicious, as was the mozzarella! Highly recommended!

28/08/2025: The focaccia genovese isn't DOP (Protected Designation of Origin) because it contains lard. The place is open 24/7, but after a certain hour in the evening, they charged me a 2 euro per kilo surcharge on the focaccia: 14 euros/kg instead of 12. Too bad it's not written anywhere, not even on the price list clearly visible on the wall. When asked for an explanation, the clerk explained that it's always been like this. Illegal.

21/08/2025: A real gem, Mirko and Sara always offer a smile and top-notch service! I recommend trying the tagliolini al consiero, superb. This place is perfect for aperitifs, lunch, or dinner. A guarantee!

15/10/2025: I've eaten here several times, and I've always had a great experience, even after a long time. The lady is always very patient and super kind! She explained the menu simply and thoroughly and guided us through the selection of dishes with great preparation. I love their chai latte; I'd go back for that alone! I'll definitely be back on my next visits to Chiavari! Thank you so much again 🙏

15/10/2025: Very nice place, I've been there a couple of times and have always had a great time. The lady is always very kind and patient, explains the entire menu in a simple yet comprehensive way, and is always very attentive to the customers' needs. The food is also excellent, there's no doubt about it. I'm a particular fan of the nan breads, especially the garlic one. Highly recommended!
