01/05/2025: May 1st Labor Day, we stopped around closing time... despite this the owners welcomed us with kindness, friendliness and helpfulness (for this reason alone they deserve the 5 stars). We ate an excellent platter of cured meats and cheeses, powerful and "crispy" asparagus, delicious! Thank you so much, your place is really TOP 🥰

07/04/2025: This is the third time we've been back, it's a place that I would define as from another era, in the sense that you can find the hospitality of the old taverns. The food is excellent (yesterday we ate Vicenza-style cod which I would describe as sublime) and the choice of wines is excellent. The place is run by a wife and husband, who handle everything from food preparation to service. If you're not in a hurry, stop here and let yourself be pampered by the two owners, and take the time to have a chat - that's the plus this place gives you. Another piece of advice is to book, as they are family run and the managers are able to accommodate a small number of people so as to avoid unnecessary criticism.

01/06/2025: I had already been there a few years ago and as usual many things have changed for the better, the quality has remained excellent with tasty first courses and second courses that live up to the memories. The only flaw is the wait for customers at the entrance, near our table, but that doesn't mean I don't recommend it.

20/05/2025: Locale super curato, si vede l’attenzione ai dettagli. Servizio veloce e staff top: professionali ma con il sorriso. Avevamo la prenotazione presa telefonicamente e infatti non abbiamo avuto nessun tempo di attesa. Abbiamo iniziato con le acciughe al baffo (fritte, stile “alla povera”): leggere e saporite, ottimo antipasto! Poi via coi classici: trofie e mandilli al pesto, cremosi e profumati, da leccarsi i baffi. Nel menù c’è scritto di diffidare dalle imitazioni… e capiamo il perché! A seguire, ravioli “au tuccu”: ripieno super, pasta all’uovo perfetta e il sugo si scioglie in bocca. Finale dolce con cheesecake ai frutti di bosco (fresca e leggera) e il dolce della casa, buono ma un po’ pesante se non siete da zucchero strong. In generale? Una vera esperienza ligure, fatta bene e con gusto!

18/05/2025: Trattoria accogliente, titolare cortese e alla mano. Cena a base di pesce ben cucinato e fresco. Ottimi dolci della casa. Gradito lo sconto alla cassa e l’accesso dei nostri due cagnolini alla trattoria. Nel complesso molto soddisfatti. A presto.

03/06/2025: This will be my favorite place in Rapallo, I will definitely come here every time I get here. There are two menus, Roman and Mediterranean cuisine, and you are between them, like between a blonde and a brunette, you don't know who to choose and order both. 10 out of 10.

21/05/2025: Very friendly and attentive, and super affordable too. Five people with starter, main course, and dessert, plus limoncello, only €110. That's a bargain. 🤣👍

13/05/2025: A place with original decor, meant to be chic but with paper napkins. A stuffy, stuffy atmosphere, not at all relaxed and artificial. A cold welcome. Aside from a few "chic" customers, the others seemed uncomfortable and tried to whisper, like us. We ordered several dishes. Small portions, nothing exceptional. And especially two dishes of uncleaned mussels! Expensive wines. We left as soon as the meal was over. Nothing was done to make us feel comfortable. There were three of us, and we're not used to being noisy. Elsewhere between Nice and Genoa, we ate mussels in various forms, always scraped. The waitresses were friendly, but you felt uncomfortable under the boss's supervision. Poor value for money. Under the same arcades in Imperia, we found better value for money and a much friendlier, warm welcome.

03/05/2025: Ottima focacceria con grande varietà di focacce e farinata super! Siamo stati tre giorni a Genova in famiglia e per tre giorni abbiamo deliziato il palato con la loro farinata e le focacce. Il personale è gentile e simpatico. Hanno anche delle ottime birre artigianali.

27/05/2025: Fantastic surprise! Living in Imperia, we eat a lot of Ligurian food and this was a a classic, but slightly different twist on the normal cuisine. Top resto! We will back and try their version with of a pizza! Grazie a tutti!

06/06/2025: Premesso che sono ligure anzi sono proprio di qui, di Albissola, confesso che non posso fare a meno di incavolarmi quando vedo all'opera la famigerata "ospitalità ligure". Il locale sembra un magazzino di cianfrusaglie, con libri e oggetti vari accatastati qua e là, eppure alle pareti sono appesi dipinti e ceramiche anche molto belli, che sistemati bene e con una "mano di bianco" sulle pareti farebbero una gran bella figura. Anche i due scorbutici gestori (madre e figlio?) avrebbero bisogno di una rinfrescata, una pettinata e dei grembiuli dignitosi, ma lasciamo perdere: forse (forse) è solo una messinscena. Ma passiamo al cibo e cominciamo con il menù in fotocopia messo in busta trasparente stravecchia e un po' unta... La lista delle pietanze è molto ligure e con tanto pesce; è anche molto lungo anzi lunghissimo (TROPPO LUNGO per un ristorante con meno di una ventina di coperti: quanti surgelati ci sono ma non sono tutti evidenziati con il classico "asterisco"?). E veniamo alla qualità: accettabile anche se mi è sembrato di vedere della panna nel pesto... e nei miei spaghetti alle vongole c'erano dei pomodorini! Mah... Dulcis in fundo: il conto. Penso di aver pagato il giusto e anzi direi che il rapporto qualità/prezzo è accettabile, ma quando vai a pagare qualche centinaia di euro ti aspetti che ti offrano un limoncello o una grappa (che avrei declinato). O no? TORTA DI RISO? FINITA!

09/06/2025: I visited this place during a busy time. Despite this, the staff was very patient and courteous, taking orders with a smile both at the tables and at the counter where the offer was varied and really tasty. I highly recommend.
