29/04/2025: Some time ago, my ex, who was from Perugia, and I... We took take-away pizza from them more than once. I have eaten pizzas everywhere and my girlfriend is also from Umbria. We both thought it was the best pizza we had ever eaten. Now I don't know how it is, I'll try it again.

26/05/2025: Dopo che ho visto moltissime recensioni positive e qualche negativa, ero in dubbio se andare con la moglie ed altra coppia a cena al Mortaio. Poi ho chiesto a qualche Voltrese doc e tutti mi hanno confermato che il Mortaio é una vera trattoria di altissima qualità a Genova ....e non a caso é aperta da 25 anni, una vera istituzione da queste parti. Io ho preso la pasta con sugo di lepre ( fotonico! ) poi calamari fritti ( carnosissimi e fritti in modo impeccabile! ) Avrei voluto prendere pasta con le vongole, ma non ne avevano più.....e la cosa mi é subito piaciuta molto, perché questo é garanzia di un locale con prodotti freschi. Le quantità erano decisamente abbondanti. Il locale pulitissimo e molto ben frequentato, nessuno alzava la voce. Il servizio è stato rapido e coordinatissimo. Il dolce al cucchiaio era squisito, come lo faceva mia mamma! Con 35€ senza vino abbiamo mangiato tanto e soprattutto molto molto molto bene. Inutile dire che ritorneremo! .....ma la prossima volta prenoteremo con più anticipo, mi sa tanto che a questo giro siamo stati molto fortunati a trovare un tavolo libero!

05/05/2025: Esperienza non buona. Locale piccolissimo, praticamente ero seduto in braccio ad una signora. Per andare in bagno ho dovuto fare slalom tra i tavoli. A parte questo i primi indiscutibilmente buoni, come la frittura (buona e abbondante). Problema grave e imperdonabile sul pagro con verdure. Pesce completamente pieno di spine e squame, letteralmente immangiabile. Fatto notare al cameriere mi viene detto si, le spine è normale e che le squame non c'erano perché era stato squamato in precedenza, cosa assolutamente non vera. Era impossibile fare un boccone senza prendere spine e squame. Il pesce è rimasto nel piatto così come è stata portato. La cosa più grave è che il titolare non si è per niente scusato del disservizio e non è venuto incontro al momento del pagamento.

01/05/2025: Tutte le volte che torniamo a Rapallo è un classico fermarci da Tossini (sia questo punto vendita vicino alla chiesa principale, sia l'altro, vicino alla stazione, molto più grande, che è anche bar e che molti recensori poco attenti confondono con questo) per comperare in particolare l'ottima focaccia, come pure piatti pronti (anche se l'assortimento è maggiore nell'altro negozio). Tutto molto buono.

03/08/2025: Franchement déçu. La pizza quatre fromages, on se demande où est le fromage ! Je commande une pizza aux fruits de mer, on me ramène une pizza au thon en boite avec quelques miettes de thon absolument pas bon ! La pizza de mon fils, une reine qui a oublié son carrosse. Un conseil, fuyez, ce sont des pizzas pour touristes. Nul.

28/07/2025: Avoid this place. The waitresses aren't friendly at all, they speak raw and dry, and they throw the bread at you. I ordered a seafood pizza, and I got a pizza with mussel shells and garlic skin on it... I'm not talking about the veal cutlets, but I'd say the breadcrumbs seasoned with veal... The price on the pizza menu was around 8 euros, and I ended up paying 15 euros. The menu needs to be reviewed... (frozen product). And I'm writing all this on the toilet because I had a bad stomach because of this restaurant.

28/07/2025: Terrible: Co-pay €2/person, glasses stained with food residue, even the paper napkins are black... Expensive pizza, but black from the oven, with soot all over your hands and mouth. Wine €3.50, but of terrible quality. "Token" additions for €2! Everything more expensive than the competition: cover charge, drinks, pizzas, additions, but definitely worse. Not recommended

15/05/2025: I have been to this business three times and the truth is that all three times the food is always good, good service and very good price and quality. Just one thing: they could be more generous with the gnocchi.

08/08/2025: I've visited several McDonald's in various cities in Italy, and there's no difference between one and the other. The difference is notable compared to McDonald's abroad. The menu names aren't the main differences, but the food is cooked and presented differently! I like it, though.

06/08/2025: We went for a meal on Sunday evening. The pizza was nothing special. I had the Lerici with tuna (very dry) and caramelized onions that were very hard and vinegary. Then there were other pizzas that were nothing special. To finish the pizza, we ordered desserts: a cheesecake and four tiramisus, which unfortunately were all sour. We called the waiter, who looked annoyed and took everything away. The owners didn't offer any apologies, they looked indifferent, and when it came time to pay, there was no discount or apology. We definitely won't be returning.

06/08/2025: Good food, good food... the problem? Terrible service, rude waiter: - questionable welcome - took our order without looking us in the face - when we later asked to change our order by removing the tomato sauce, he responded with the exact words, "You take it off, it's just on top." This was not only rude but also unprofessional because the waiter didn't bother to ask if the change was due to intolerances or allergies. - the burger also arrived without bacon (we didn't request this change) - we had to ask for cutlery because they weren't brought to us. - scampi pasta with ONE scampi. Dirty and smelly bathroom. ICING ON THE CAKE At the cashier, we were told we had to pay €26 each, and if we'd wanted to pay cash, we'd have to pay a €4 surcharge. Legal? Normal? Luckily, we all had credit cards.

13/07/2025: We visited this restaurant twice during our vacation in Sanremo, and we were absolutely thrilled on our first visit! The service was friendly, the food fresh, and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the mozzarella and tomato panini, so much so that I ordered it again on my second visit. Unfortunately, our enthusiasm was reversed on our second visit. Shortly after eating, I developed severe stomach pains and felt very unwell. My husband, who had eaten the second half of my baguette, also experienced similar symptoms shortly afterwards. We were cycling and had a hard time making our way back to Imperia. We're sorry to say, but it seems the food wasn't as fresh the second time around. After the great first impression, our disappointment is even greater. This simply shouldn't happen in a restaurant, especially one that relies on consistent quality. We're not writing this review out of anger, but in the hope that the restaurant might investigate whether something went wrong with storage or preparation. Mistakes can happen, but we want to honestly share what happened to us. We may give the restaurant another chance in the future, but next time we hope to experience the same quality that we appreciated so much on our first visit.

26/06/2025: We managed to get in just before it got very busy. There are limited tables inside and more outside. It fills up fast. The menu is broad and all the food we had was excellent. The kitchen was not the fastest but it was worth the wait.

30/06/2025: Terrible experience. The attitude towards tourists is disgusting... Don't worry, just see each other once and feel the disgusting welcome.

29/06/2025: The menu in the photo is absolutely useless. It does not represent what can be ordered, but rather what you "could" find to eat because in reality you can only order what is available at the counter. I found out about it from the owner who very grumpyly told me "Eh but you have to book those 😜" Average pizza and focaccia.

23/07/2025: Granted that the time wasn't the best, since it was before dinner, we ordered two cocktails that were very low in alcohol. We had to forgo a mojito because it lacked mint, and the music would come and go depending on the phone it was connected to (every so often, calls would ring). The only positive things were the kindness of the waiter and the very nice place. Otherwise, I definitely wouldn't go back for anything alcoholic, which I didn't get in either of the two cocktails I ordered. The Gin Fizz literally tasted like lemon water. I hope my criticism is taken as advice for future customers. There's really great potential, but the quality is a bit less so.
