16/10/2025: What a pleasure to find this place in Riomaggiore! We had all our breakfasts there. The welcome is extremely warm, I loved the yogurt bowl and the many choices of fresh fruit for the smoothies 🌱

11/10/2025: The owner was very nice and the pesto smoked tofu panini was a 10/10! She even gifted me a cornetto which was amazing as well! A must visit if you are vegan or not.

13/09/2025: On the occasion of my birthday we were given a dinner for 2 people in this restaurant, it was a journey through tastes and flavours, one dish better than the other accompanied by a very precise balance, the service very friendly, attentive, helpful and very professional in explaining all the dishes in the smallest details, a compliment to everyone both in the kitchen and in the rooms for this magical experience, I recommend it for anyone who wants to have a culinary experience without a doubt "it is the right place"

29/10/2025: Had lunch today. It was a gloomy day, so we went inside. It's a shame, because the restaurant has tables in the square with a splendid sea view. Regardless, it was an excellent lunch: fantastic pappardelle with chicken livers and crispy onions, delicious Ligurian-style rabbit, and a delicious zabaglione semifreddo. Highly recommended; the owner is friendly and welcoming.

25/10/2025: Great location in front of the piazza with a nice view of the coastline. The service was outstanding and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We had four courses and they were all delicious. The inside dining is small with a warm and cosy atmosphere and there is a large dining area in the piazza outside. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you like authentic, high quality products and a great atmosphere.

09/10/2025: I went to dinner at Matamà even though I'm not a meat lover, but I left very satisfied. They don't have any stars here, but you'll finish what they put on your plate with great satisfaction. Delicious and refined food, impeccable, fast, and efficient service, the place is a jewel of a place, meticulously maintained and very clean. It was a pleasure testing you, and we'll be back soon to try other dishes. I almost forgot, all the meat dishes I tried were perfect and made me realize that I love meat, as long as it's cooked properly, and at Matamà they know this well. See you soon, Brigata Matamà.

05/10/2025: We returned after a few years to celebrate a birthday, and the quality is still the same, if not even a step up. It can be considered a meat restaurant, and you can even find game. The cooking, the sauces, and what can I say about the crostini!!! I'm still salivating ❤️ We each tried a different dish to share, and it was all delicious. The wine selection was also excellent, thanks to the sommelier's recommendation. The staff was very qualified and courteous, and many compliments to the chef. The premises are clean, and even the bathroom is spacious and clean, accessible to disabled guests. Dogs are welcome 🥰 We'll be back again. Highly recommended 👍👍👏

18/10/2025: Magnificent aperitif offered with the Spritz 🍸🍹, what great service! We had pizzas 🍕 to go which were delicious. Ideal for eating them on the ferry. Plus the prices are reasonable. Definitely a place to remember

02/11/2025: The place is nice and quiet, and the decor is tasteful. The dishes we ordered were good, with one exception: the pizza dough, while tasty, was definitely not homemade. As a pizza lover, I know this same elongated shape with the same consistency is available commercially under the name PINSA. Furthermore, we didn't see the chef working the dough at all. However, the toppings were of good quality, let's be honest. In short, a nice place, admittedly, but a bit pricey.

11/11/2025: Exceptional service! We were able to taste before choosing, and the shopkeeper speaks French. The ice creams were all equally delicious and homemade with local, seasonal ingredients! The only problem is that you'll have a hard time choosing because everything was so delicious! And the price is unbeatable!

The staff is extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxing, set in a charming courtyard in the heart of Albenga's historic center.
