Wow ! it was incredible. The tartare of deer was AWESOME. We took bavette with potatoes too: tasty, generous. If you're at Nervi, you have to test it !

What better occasion to celebrate a birthday!! I discovered this place thanks to a friend and I must say that if you want to eat excellent meat you can't help but try it!!! Excellent food, welcoming place and really kind and professional staff... if I have to recommend a dish Angus fillet with port reduction and peanut byssus... Top!!

We were here twice. The service is extremely friendly and competent. Great selection of meat dishes and wine. Pure passion. The quality is outstanding, perfect for meat lovers. Again and again! Thank you for the great time. If only there were more places like this :)

Every time I'm in the area, even if the intentions are different, I find myself wanting to go there. However, there is not always room, it is better to book in advance to ensure a table.
My favorite dishes are:
- The raw appetizer, with raw sausage, salted meat and tartare.
- Cacio e pepe with sausage.
The other dishes are no less! The staff is extremely polite and attentive, and the environment is very peaceful. The value for money is exceptional. If you want meat, this is the right place!

I would have preferred a greater choice in the starters and that the cheese waffle that accompanied the first course was a little less bitter, otherwise everything was excellent, perfect service, the waiters were very helpful, the quality of the meat was excellent and in general that of everyone too the other dishes.

If you are in Genoa and you want meat and good wine, this is the best place to go.
Intimate and welcoming environment, attentive, prepared and smiling staff. The "fat" is sublime as are the desserts, all fantastic.
Medium/high prices but the dinner is worth it.
Super recommended!

I have lived in Nervi for years and I had never had the opportunity to have dinner at MATAMA. 5 stars absolutely deserved. An absolutely refined and pleasant place, professional and attentive service and high quality food. Starters and meat main courses are TOP. The former perhaps not too much choice. But here as written on the blackboard LONG LIVE THE FLAT!!!!
