08/01/2026: I enter this historic Frascati bar with enthusiasm, driven by the curiosity of revisiting a place I frequented as a child. I approach the counter to ask for a coffee after paying at the register. The young woman with dark hair, without saying a word or even making any kind of gesture, continues doing her job as if nothing had happened. I then take the opportunity to go to the bathroom, and while I wait my turn, my coffee is served at the corner of the counter facing the bathroom door. Slamming the cup on the saucer, she tells me, "I'll put this here for you." I politely point out that I was going to the bathroom and would have preferred to wait a second. The owner approaches me passively aggressively, with a fake smile, asks, "What's the problem?" and then calls me rude. It's clear you're the ones with the problems. You'd be better off staying at home and employing well-disposed people, because running a business open to the public requires basic requirements like kindness and friendliness, things you clearly don't know about. Edit in response to the owner: Given that a simple search online shows that being rude and impolite is a habit of yours, given the numerous negative reviews that prove mine isn't an isolated case, I assure you that, as a business owner myself, I know very well how to handle a counter and how to interact with customers. I certainly don't wake up between Christmas and New Year's Eve searching for places to give bad reviews. I assure you that neither you nor those who work for you have any idea what it means to work in a public establishment. Your description of what happened is completely false. I'm not the one who overreacted in my demands during a difficult time (luckily, I have common sense and would never allow myself to embarrass workers), but I reiterate that you're incapable of selecting adequate staff, and I confirm that the girl is utterly ignorant. Even if she were overwhelmed with preparations (which she wasn't), this doesn't justify anyone's rudeness. And in any case, if you lose your mind over two coffees (the bar was the emptiest in Frascati, and now we understand why), it confirms that, in addition to lacking personal balance, you've chosen the wrong profession. And be thankful that I'm a polite person and have respect for workers and the female gender, because I would have been right to throw the coffee in your face, demand your money back, and drag you out of the place by your hair. But I repeat, having read that there have been several similar cases, even getting angry with people who leave already inconvenienced isn't worth it.

07/03/2026: I went in today, asking with a smile and the politeness that distinguishes me. I took two packs of cigarettes and a decaf. The waitress on duty went crazy over a €10 bill, with a tiny bit of shot on the note. I was shocked and gave her another one, and when she asked for sweetener, she threw it on the counter indignantly. Now I ask myself: we all need work, but put someone there who offers a smile and knows how to deal with customers. Truly disappointed. Don't go there.

02/02/2026: Three times already with too good to go I arrive at 9:45 pm (the time set by Alice) and the place is closed when on Google and on too good to go it says open. Never again

10/04/2026: We ate outside, which was very pleasant. The place is unpretentious, but all in all, for a last-minute lunch on Easter Monday, it was great. The staff was friendly and attentive. We'll be back to try the wood-fired pizza! I've read other terrible reviews; I don't know what they were expecting. It's definitely not a 5-star restaurant. €50 for two, including half a liter of wine, two bottles of water, an appetizer, two first courses, and two coffees. The only caveat: artichokes should be on the menu. Those coming from outside Rome have the right to try them. 😁

06/04/2026: No need to visit, we did not try pizza it can be the reason to dine there. Service in status quo mode. Begetables only deep fried . Place is nicely decorated but food was under all expectatipns

03/04/2026: I've tried returning several times, but no, I've decided to change. There are better bakeries nearby. I understand the stress of long shifts, given that the store has long hours, but I went in and the person at the counter came to serve me (she'd seen me) after about 10 minutes, only because the lady at the register urged her to. She arrived annoyed and without a shred of empathy. Another time, a person serving at the counter and cashier (one glove or another) had greasy hands when giving change and dirty hands when cutting bread and pizza. The basics, come on...
