26/10/2025: Fantastic food. The pork shank with potatoes was phenomenal. The chef was very friendly and the service was excellent. We'll be back next year; it will become our go-to place.

19/10/2025: I was deeply disappointed with this place. From the moment I entered, the place was dirty and neglected, with visibly unclean utensils and—even worse—the presence of crickets and cockroaches inside. There was no paper or digital menu, and the dishes were offered verbally, without any indication of prices. This created a lot of confusion, especially when it came to the bill: the final price was decidedly high and it was unclear what we were actually paying. Furthermore, the bottle of water we were served was dirty, adding to the overall feeling of poor hygiene. The food was decent, but certainly not enough to make up for all the other serious shortcomings. Finally, the place doesn't have a POS terminal, so payment is cash only—a piece of information that would have been appropriate to communicate right away. In short, a very negative experience from every perspective. I do not recommend it.

14/11/2025: Spacious venue with friendly staff. Offers a wide selection of beers 🍺. The menu is comprehensive, from mixed appetizers (a cold cut and cheese platter, a mixed vegetarian platter, and various fried foods), pizza, and sandwiches with various fillings. We recommend the maxi sandwich (it costs €15 but is worth it), consisting of a hamburger, melted provola cheese, sautéed cooked vegetables, and more. Nothing like those at McDonald's. The fries are also excellent—not sticks, but spoon-fries, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I highly recommend it if you're in Frascati and want to spend an evening at the pub. 03/07/2025: Abbiamo scoperto questo locale su consiglio di amici. Premesso che dopo il caldo di Roma il fatto che si riuscisse a respirare era sufficiente a dare una super valutazione, ma il ristorante merita molto di più. Innanzitutto é presente anche il menu per chi é intollerante al lattosio o per chi é celiaco, mettono delle graziose bandierine per distinguere le portate senza lattosio o per celiaci al fine di evitare che una volta a tavola si possa far confusione. Siamo stati serviti da Valentino, unico nella sua professionalità ed estremamente gentile e disponibile, ha ispirato a tutti una immediata simpatia, qualità molto rare, abbiamo preso dei deliziosi supplì della casa, consigliati sempre da Valentino e da provare assolutamente, la pizza, anche qui provate quella della casa (pizza vecchia locanda) , e poi i dolci, fatti da loro! Una creme brûlé al pistacchio con pezzettini di cioccolato fondente, mitica, idem il tiramisù, se a tutto questo si aggiunge assenza di rumori della città e prezzi onestissimi, sicuramente torneremo per provare le altre pietanze !

27/06/2025: Ho contattato il ristorante tramite Just Eat ed ho pagato due volte quanto ordinato. Ho contattato il ristorante per il rimborso ed il proprietario è stato molto gentile e disponibile; onesto al punto da dire "non voglio sapere nemmeno cosa è successo, le renderò la cifra spesa". Quanto ordinato era molto buono quindi oltre alla massima disponibilità ed onestà, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Assolutamente consigliato!

14/03/2025: Besides the kindness and generosity of Mimmo, the owner of this takeaway pizzeria, the pizza is excellent! The prices are super reasonable, but the flavor is more than up to par. The kebab is also super good. Thank you so much, and as always, your number one choice!

29/11/2025: I had two fried foods, one Tonnarello alla carbonara and the other a pulled pork meatball. The Tonnarello, considering it was cold because it was exposed, wasn't bad, the breading remained crunchy, the pasta was a little overcooked but that's okay, it's a good product. What disappointed me instead was the pulled pork meatball as it tasted almost like something blended in the mouth, it wasn't frayed but almost like mush, here too the nature remained thick and crunchy.

17/09/2025: The first time was a pleasant discovery, and now it's become a regular stop on my walks in Frascati—it's a must! The pizza is always delicious and varied, with excellent options even for those who prefer vegetarian options. If you're unsure about which type of pizza to order, ask the staff for advice; they're always spot on. What I appreciate even more is the human connection: places like this, where the customer is welcomed with the same care they put into making the pizza, are increasingly rare. Adriano and his team are professional, friendly, and personable: they always manage to put me at ease. Highly recommended!

21/07/2025: Lunch for a baptism was all good but the portions were barely sufficient...the service was barely adequate and not attentive to the customer for a farmhouse, let's say passable.

12/10/2025: Lots of games, and a fairly extensive menu. Despite the small space and few windows, the atmosphere is refined, calm, and pleasant. The only advice is to bring a few Piacenza or French cards.

29/05/2025: A place where you can feel at home, with delicious sandwiches and cold beer. But it's the staff that makes the difference, with a kindness and hospitality that will make you feel at home from the first time. Absolutely recommended for an evening with friends!

18/06/2025: Abbiamo semplicemente espresso su the fork la nostra esperienza su questo ristorante. Evidentemente essere sintetici non basta vista la risposta del proprietario che merita adeguata replica. Per quanto riguarda la qualità del cibo nulla a che dire, ma soffermiamoci su ciò che riteniamo migliorabile. Prenotato alle 20.30 e presentateci alle 20.40 circa con il locale all'interno semi vuoto e comunque con una prenotazione in corso di 1 ora di validità, un cameriere prima di indicarci il tavolo ci chiede da subito se volevamo dell'acqua. Ci avevano messo in un tavolo posto al buio tale da richiedere una migliore visione. Il cameriere ha così provveduto ad avvitare una lampadina posizionata su un lampadario al centro della sala, per quel che riguarda le pietanze, la carne era praticamente tiepida e il contorno di patate fredde. Dopo circa un 'ora che abbiamo atteso amici che finissero l'antipasto ci è stato detto che le nostre pietanze erano in cottura e udite sono arrivate dopo circa altri 45/50 minuti. Lo stesso cameriere informato del nostro disappunto notiziava il cuoco probabilmente proprietario il quale rammaricato chiedeva scuso per l'attesa e giustificava il fatto che la carne era fredda a causa della cottura al sangue. Ma le patate al sangue anche loro?? Tuttavia pur comprendendo tutto cio' vorrei dire è troppo facile fare leoni da tastiera quando invece mi preoccuperei di ovviare in modo garbato senza fare commenti del tutto gratuiti considerando che il tutto è avvenuto alla presenza di testimoni. Spero nell'utilità di questa recensione sia per lo staff del ristorante che per i clienti futuri.

19/07/2025: Dal momento che mi é stato comunicato che le pizze erano state ordinate in questa pizzeria mi sono promesso che se anche per la terza volta sarebbero venuti in ritardo, con le pizze fredde e malfatte, avrei lasciato una recensione in merito. Ordinato alle 18:40 e le pizze sono arrivate alle 21:40 di martedì senza eventi sportivi o eventi di qualsiasi genere. Pizze fredde come mi aspettavo e piccolissime, quasi come la metà del cartone... Solo una era uscita grande ma sono stato sfortunato. il condimento, io avevo preso una patate e salsiccia con aggiunta di salsiccia, credo che ci abbiano messo in tutto un quarto di salsiccia. A questo punto ho chiamato chiedendo chiarimenti e per la terza volta mi é stato detto "si lo so mi scusi, la prossima volta staremo più a attenti" .... Ora la mia domanda é? Se lo sai perché lo fai? Forse é modo di rispondere e visto che é la terza volta che faccio notare questa cosa, mi sento davvero preso in giro. Per fortuna che parlando con le persone di frascati molti sono d'accordo con me, spero solo per quelli che vengono da fuori, nn vengano fregati anche loro.

A reheated first course served on a paper plate for €12 seems a bit excessive. It's an osteria in terms of food, service, and disposable items, but it's definitely not an osteria in terms of price.

31/08/2025: In the quiet shadow of Frascati's buildings on a Sunday, I enjoyed sampling some truly delicious, fresh cheeses and cured meats with some friends. The service was simple, fast, and helpful. Highly recommended, despite the stunning view, the casareccio is truly authentic and not touristy. Definitely worth a try.

22/08/2025: I came here to Frascati from Rome , at the bakery since Google said it was open, I got here and it says "CLOSED FOR HOLIDAYS FROM AUGUST 15TH TO 31ST", please if you can update when you're on holiday because otherwise people come from Rome and find it closed, which isn't nice.

16/11/2025: Family lunch. The €10 lasagna wasn't shocking... the problem was the portion was excessively small, even for a 9-year-old. A service charge and bread were added (the latter was never delivered). Out of curiosity, I wandered into a very well-maintained cafe/diner in the main square... yet the lasagna, which looked completely different and was apparently of a different quality, was priced at €7. Again, a €10 price tag might be acceptable... but the dish served was simply not worth it. Perhaps it's better to focus on platters, avoiding this costly compromise just for the customer.
