05/05/2025: a pleasant discovery, "recommended" by an excellent score from The Fork. Refined menu, genuine raw materials, impeccable service with very useful explanations of the various dishes. All good, but special mention for the roasted octopus on a bed of escarole and provola, cheese and pepper linguine with croaker and lemon. The fried prawns and calamari are also excellent The choice of coffees is very pleasant, very good too

03/05/2025: Altavela is one of those discoveries that surprise for the balance between quality, service and atmosphere. The staff is extremely courteous, present but never intrusive: a dry, attentive, simply perfect service. Each dish is introduced to the table with a timely and detailed presentation, which enhances the work in the kitchen. The house specialties are, as is natural in Fiumicino, seafood dishes - prepared with technique, taste and creativity. The wine list is well stocked: I chose a truly excellent Greco di Tufo, perfect to accompany the courses. Even the desserts were up to the standard of the rest of the meal, with particular care in both preparation and presentation. The price? More than honest, especially in relation to the overall quality. In my opinion, Altavela deserves a Michelin star.

22/05/2025: Roberto has an amazing restaurant! The food is a culinary experience and every bite was a delight! It was our last meal in Italy after 3 weeks and we truly enjoyed! Roberto is professional and friendly and takes care of the tourists walking in as well as the local Italians!

25/05/2025: I came in with a friend and we had to attend a show in the place opposite, so we were in a hurry. We ordered 3 bruschettas, oil and salt and still water, the wait was exaggerated for 3 slices of bread to toast, the owner got stressed....total? 12 euros, we left and he didn't even say hello. Terrible place.....the oil on the bruschettas was non-existent, the owner was rude.

19/05/2025: I had a pizza last night at Pizza Gallery... The truth is that I haven't eaten such a good pizza in I don't know how long... Truly amazing! Speechless for the goodness, to be repeated! Also helpful, kind staff, truly top!

The food was delicious, with particular combinations that are perfect together; the bombettes were delicious, the fried polenta with sausage, dates and everything else was really special. The staff is kind and respectful, especially the owner, a golden person, very patient, funny and explained the dishes with a certain love and passion that made you imagine the flavor even before eating them. The owner was kind enough to even offer me dessert for taking my family there. After reading the reviews I really knew that this place is special, and they are not given as gifts, but deserved. We thank you, you are one of the best places we have ever eaten 🫶🏻🥇 :P 🩷

02/05/2025: Nice break for rating fried fish and veggies. We got the large mix of fried fish and veggies. The fish is frozen and there were lots of fried potatoes. The fish was not much at the end. I'd probably suggest to get only the pure fish options. All in all a nice place but 2 starts less because of the frozen fish by the sea and for the proportion potatoes vs fish in the large fried mix.

24/05/2025: Love at first sight! Without much hesitation we chose this location for our wedding, which bewitched us at first sight, and we couldn't have made a better choice. Everything went exactly as planned, with great care and precision. The staff was simply fantastic: always available, present but never intrusive, attentive to every detail and to the needs of the guests. We wanted to give a special thanks to Ilaria, our organizer, and to Giampiero, the maitre of the evening, who with their professionalism and kindness satisfied our every request. Everyone felt pampered and at ease, and we, the bride and groom, were able to live the day in total serenity. A heartfelt thanks to all the staff for making this day unforgettable!
