13/12/2025: An experience to repeat! A trattoria serving traditional Venetian dishes (I recommend the radicchio pie, the bigoli with duck ragù, and the tender roast beef with fries and cooked vegetables). The waitresses are very friendly, and the wine is delicious (especially the Rabosello, Prosecco, and Moscato Dolce).

09/11/2025: The food is excellent, and you can see the expertise in the kitchen. Unfortunately, there are some flaws in the service, such as only giving one piece of bread per person. The restrooms are decent, but in winter you might encounter a few penguins, so be careful!

If you're looking for a place to eat—"portions," pardon the simple term, but good and plentiful—you've come to the right place. For those of us who are budget-conscious, I had a plate of cheese gnocchi, chicken cutlets and fries, bread, and a bottle of water for barely €20. I'll definitely be back.

25/01/2026: The pizzas are excellent. The first course with penne all'arrabbiata was superb. I still have to try the fish dishes. Very good prices. I tried the wood-fired sea bass and the marinated anchovies side dish, and it was absolutely delicious! I also loved the spaghetti with garlic, oil, and chili pepper (plentiful and wonderful for only €5) and the spaghetti carbonara. Very good prices. The "lemon delight" dessert is another gem. Excellent and honest.

09/03/2026: Average pizzeria: good ingredients, light dough, but what's lacking is the service; we waited over fifteen minutes for our drinks, slow throughout, not even very many people, too many waitresses for anything. The atmosphere could use some improvement; it seems bare, soulless (horrible paintings, I daresay). A big problem for me is the lighting, which conveys this feeling—too much white light. But I understand that they've only been open three months; if they manage it well, they can do a great job. I like the open kitchen, good chefs, but less so the waitresses.

06/03/2026: My partner and I went out for pizza with some friends. When it came time to pay, I looked at the price of my partner's pizza and it seemed much higher than what was written on the menu (on the placemats). We checked the placemats again and indeed, the Susy pizza on the placemat cost €9.00, while on the receipt it was €11.50. We asked the cashier for clarification, and she replied, "I've been thinking about this all evening." We had obviously already paid... if we hadn't mentioned this, we probably would have left without realizing it... we truly felt cheated. Furthermore, the service was very slow and the pizzas were expensive for the ingredients offered.

17/08/2025: Excellent food. The best pasta we had in Italy. Light, tender, and flavorful. We ordered gnocchi, lasagna, and ragù with polenta. I just wish the pasta portion was a little bigger. The staff was attentive, and the waitress was friendly and fun.

25/02/2026: Returning to Pennar after 20 years was a wonderful surprise. The owners were kind and helpful, the staff attentive, and the rooms were gorgeous, clean, and equipped with every comfort. We'll definitely be back; I'm already homesick!

18/02/2026: We went to Pennar in Asiago for two nights during our skiing holiday and had excellent food both times. The dishes were high-quality, carefully prepared, and truly delicious. Excellent service: friendly, professional, and very welcoming staff. A major plus was the attention paid to families with small children, which made us feel immediately at ease. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

28/01/2026: The restaurant has a nice heated veranda, simple but well prepared, the pizza is delicious and so are the desserts, friendly staff. I recommend going there.

02/12/2025: I kept their receipt for several months because I wanted to leave a review, but my husband said he shouldn't return. But before the year ends and I throw it away, I decided to share our experience! I've been to this place twice. The first time we went for pizza and we didn't like it at all (basically a cracker). Unfortunately, my husband met an acquaintance on that unfortunate evening and trusted him and wanted to return some time later to try their cuisine. Well, we had a terrible meal, both with the first course featuring mushrooms that tasted like frozen ones and were flavorless. Then came the second course, which was a horrible grill. The meat seemed reheated rather than freshly cooked, and I draw a veil over the questionable flavor. The side dishes were fine. This experience proves two things: 1. If you're disappointed the first time, you don't persevere and return the second time. 2. I shouldn't listen to my husband.

18/10/2025: We stopped for two pizzas right there. One with a really light whole wheat dough, the other with a Neapolitan dough. The ingredients were good! If we ever come back, we'll definitely be back.

03/12/2025: I found the meringues exceptional, and if anyone doesn't like them, they also have excellent pastries and pastries, all of which are homemade, to eat on-site or take away.

30/11/2025: I ordered a classic millefeuille. When I called, they only told me it would have sponge cake. I told them, "Okay." Too bad, when we cut it, we discovered they also added liqueur. The cake is unusable for children. Terrible. Aside from the fact that the addition of sponge cake is also questionable, but that's fine, these are the pastry shop's choices. Adding liqueur without saying anything is absolutely not good. Never again.

03/01/2026: A typical Italian "trattoria" where it's not about the decor or the fancy labels—it's all about the food. The pizza is incredible, the pasta is spectacular, and they have so many other delicious Italian plates to choose from! 😋 . Strongly suggested if you want enjoy the food.
