16/11/2025: We had dinner for my birthday. They were very kind and courteous, taking special care of my special occasion. I even received a special gift from the management of Penacio. Our table was located in the corner of the room. We ate well. The appetizer, porcini mushroom soufflé, creamed cod, truffle risotto, and hazelnut gelato, were delicious and very good. Everything was perfect.

18/10/2025: Exceptional crudo fish platter. Fresh and tasty. Highly recommended for the elegant atmosphere located in a semi rural environment.

12/10/2025: I ate here on a Sunday for lunch and loved it! The place is cozy and quiet, and the staff is very friendly. I tried the cacio e pepe with truffle and shrimp tartare, and the pistachio semifreddo with crumble. Everything was excellent, highly recommended!

14/09/2025: The place is very welcoming, with a brazier right at the entrance that makes the place warm and inviting. Service was quick despite the crowds. The wait staff was very courteous and friendly, and made you feel right at home. The smoked Black Angus carpaccio was delicious! The grilled meat? Mouth-watering! Try it! The trio of side dishes was delicious; I loved the baked potatoes, superb! Finally, the homemade dessert was delicious and plentiful. Excellent value for money! What can I say? Highly recommended!

29/09/2025: Trip with the CAI (Italian Alpine Club) in Ovada. Room with a spectacular bathroom and excellent towels, clean and very quiet. Ample parking nearby.

13/11/2025: Veneto restaurant serving traditional Vicenza dishes, with a special focus on grilled meats. Excellent cuisine, a wide and varied wine list for this type of establishment. Prompt and friendly service.

10/11/2025: I tried the pumpkin and truffle risotto. It wasn't bad, but I have to say the truffle hid the pumpkin quite a bit. I had some very good lamb chops, a more than adequate portion. I was surprised by the lack of any side dishes other than a ladleful of polenta.

09/10/2025: Big disappointment. At the restaurant, I waited 40 minutes for the appetizer, which was good, another half hour for the main course, which was far below what it should have been, and a good 20 minutes for dessert. The room had no hangers for trousers; it was especially absurd that the front desk didn't bother to provide one, saying they didn't have one. There was also an annoying noise coming from the electrical panel. A historic venue, but with some management issues. It's a shame.

13/09/2025: I recently celebrated my wedding on September 12, 2025, and even stayed for one night. Impeccable service, from the organization to the location, and the wonderful staff. It deserves much more than a 3-star rating. Highly recommended. Thank you. 11/10/2025: Tagliatelle with mushrooms: good, but not quite 70g (€22) Puff pastry with chocolate chips: not bad, but too much cream (€10). 2 starters, 2 desserts, 1 water, €74.... I wish it were a real trattoria. It pretends to be something special, but it's expensive, and the starters are nothing special.

12/10/2025: Discovered by chance, a bit out of the way and with no parking, but nice and conveniently located. Inside, it feels a bit 1980s-esque with the chair covers, but it does have some nice touches like the lighting. The fresh fish is beyond question. I didn't like the clams on the plate, but I'd suggest a different dish. The grilled fish was really good, nothing to complain about. The very cheerful and friendly waitress definitely livens up the place. I'd suggest paying more attention to the details in the dining room.

22/08/2025: Serena is a wonderful host. The food is authentic and made with passion, a typical mountain menu. It's worth the drive up there, as from up there you can enjoy a beautiful view and the cool mountain air. Her tiramisu is absolutely delicious, made by her, as are the other desserts. If you want an aperitif before lunch or dinner, I recommend the "mezo e mezo," which is typical of the Bassano area. It's delicious and refreshing, just the right amount of water for a spritz.

17/08/2025: Surrounded by greenery, secluded yet close to several trails. Serena, the owner, and the entire staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The menu is varied and delicious! I recommend the regional dish and the delicious homemade cakes, made with so much love! A positive experience! Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful meal, everything was perfect from start to finish: the food was incredibly tasty, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere was truly pleasant. You can tell they're passionate about what they do—I even complimented the staff, they deserved it! If I lived in the area, I'd come here all the time. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
