Mother's Day was simply TOP! We arrived at Penacio with four adults and two children and were immediately immersed in the magic of the Berici Hills. The place retains that '90s charm that makes you feel like you're in a real, authentic place with a soul. The food? A triumph of tradition! The truffle risotto is, without a doubt, the best in the area. The grilled meat is cooked to perfection, flavorful, and top-quality. And then... the highlight of all the highlights: the freshly whipped gelato. Creamy, irresistible, a bomb of goodness. One of those things that sticks in your head and makes you say, 'We absolutely have to come back!' And indeed... we will.

We had a great experience at this renowned restaurant. We drove almost an hour to try it, but it was worth it! The rooms are elegant but not overly so, and the dishes are made with high-quality ingredients. But what really sets them apart is the service...helpful, friendly, and attentive! Not for everyone! Their famous hazelnut gelato is definitely recommended!

I went there on Valentine's Day evening with my girlfriend. The place was very cute and welcoming; I loved the fireplace with double-glazed windows, which allowed us to see outside and warmed our souls.
The food was truly excellent, with beautiful and original presentations, and dishes that combined tradition with innovative and imaginative ideas. I'm not giving it a fifth star because, although I probably booked first (a month or more in advance, so much so that the menu for the evening hadn't yet been created), I expected to be seated in a prime location, but instead I was right next to the waiters.
Of course, it's a small detail, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Overall, I was very satisfied and will definitely return.

I returned after a long wait on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere was refined. The staff was very professional. The food was a mix of overwhelming flavors, and the meat melted in your mouth like butter. The hazelnut cream is still a must. Highly recommended.

We went on Sunday, had two appetizers, one off the menu and one à la carte (AMAZING salted meat, non-greasy fried gnocco, and good-quality cooked ham), two truffle risottos (€18 per portion 🔝), two desserts, and two glasses of wine by the glass.
The portions weren't too big, and I found the value excellent.
The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming.
We'll definitely be back.

Everything was excellent, starting with the appetizers (the best part), continuing with the first, second, and desserts.
Even though it was crowded given that it was Valentine's Day, there was just the right amount of space and intimacy at the table.
On a positive note, they were very helpful in explaining the dishes on the menu.

We decided to celebrate my birthday here at the Penacio restaurant... and it couldn't have been a better choice... the atmosphere embraces you in its warmth, the staff welcomes you and accompanies you with delicacy, courtesy, and expertise... the food satisfies the palate and leaves you satisfied... for me, who have a sweet tooth, the finale was sublime: you must try their hazelnut gelato... delicate, soft, enveloping, and flavorful... we were very satisfied, certain it won't be the last time!
