19/03/2025: One of the last restaurants and pizzerias with the prices of before Covid, almost all pizzas do not exceed € 9-10, the restaurant is the same with low prices and all this without compromising the quality of the food. We took two pizzas and they were very good and a perfect frying, where you could see that the oil had no km😎 a liter of wine and water a side dish a coffee and a dessert all for € 58.....I would say congratulations 👏👏

25/02/2025: Refined place, with an excellent assortment of good sandwiches and desserts. Friendly staff with a particularly nice and very pretty waitress. Really interesting as a bistro in the historic center of Cittadella, a stone's throw from the cathedral and Porta Treviso.

01/02/2025: I agree with what was said in some previous comments: excellent breakfast but the lack of friendliness and hospitality of the staff takes away the place of an ESSENTIAL requirement when working with the public especially in the early morning, risking making the good breakfast go sideways and passing you want to go back. They could hire more smiley people to stand behind the counter so they would definitely have more customers coming back or joining.

15/12/2024: Despite costing 70 euros for a starter, two first courses and two desserts, dinner at the Trattoria del Disastro was a real waste of money. Considering we both ended up having to run to the bathroom. The starter seemed to have been assembled without any attention, with ingredients of questionable quality, taken from a jar and thrown onto a plate. The two first courses were no different: partly overcooked and partly raw pasta mixed with frozen sauce from the supermarket. Moving on to the desserts: the tiramisu cream was now gone (risk of salmonella) and the sponge cake was frozen. The lemon sorbet was sour, like the ones you get at discount stores that have long since expired, so much so that they weren't edible. In short, avoid this place at all costs. There are probably better dining experiences in the neighborhood, even eating at a fast food restaurant would have been a better option.

24/03/2025: A meeting place for tasty and delicious meals with a fixed menu also for companies with a top service, a kingdom of courtesy and the constant presence of owners and waitresses who make you feel at home... the chef then offers always varied dishes... I recommend it to anyone looking for a place where they don't spend a lot where they will certainly find themselves well and will undoubtedly return.

25/01/2025: This place is an excellent choice if you intend to spend a cheerful evening in company. In this sense, the rustic atmosphere 👨🏻‍🌾 and the decidedly dated furnishings harken back to the structures of the past, now practically in the process of becoming extinct. I returned recently, a few years after my last visit, precisely for a reunion with friends. Having arrived on site even late, I found my dish already on the table (by the way, thanks to the diners for having booked in my place) based on a trio of cod with croutons 🍞 and polenta (good 😋). To complete the order 📝, several other courses which I think were all appreciated. To drink, water, wine (both red 🍷 and white 🥂) and, at the end of the meal, coffee ☕ and lemon sorbet 🍋 (without considering the bitters 🥃 then offered at the counter). The handwritten menu 📝 is fantastic (see attached photos 📸 📎), worthy of the best taverns (this is worth an extra star ⭐ in this review). The staff members were kind (especially the girl 👩🏻 who served us at the table) and the prices were certainly honest. The bathrooms 🚾, although clean and tidy 🚽🧻, would however need a refresh. CERTAINLY RECOMMENDED 👍.

14/01/2025: Enchanting place, perfect for those who love to feel comfortable in an oasis of peace and serenity away from the frenzy but at the same time just a few minutes from the beaches of Sottomarina and located near the road that leads directly to the Euganean Hills. A perfect location for weddings, parties and special occasions, but also for Sunday lunch. The excellent cuisine and the friendliness of the staff make everything even more prestigious. In short, if you want to feel like a "Prince" for a day, you can't help but immerse yourself in the perfect reality of the Fondo San Benedetto. Super recommended, in fact, an obligatory stop if you pass through those parts!
