17/07/2025: Buona spaghetteria. Porzioni da 150 grammi più il condimento. Io ho preso uno spaghetto allo scoglio buono e abbondante. Non so se il locale è dotato di aria condizionata, fatto sta' che faceva caldino nella sala interna. Comunque esperienza positiva. Consigliato.

10/07/2025: A wine bar run by a conscientious owner. The wine list is excellent. If you feel hesitant to order a whole bottle, I recommend trying a glass. Trust the owner's taste.

06/07/2025: I just opened a business next to this Enoteca which is located in Corso Italia 137 just down a few steps next to the municipal fountain. I met the owner and I went to lunch to eat an excellent tartare, delicate with a right balance of the condiments that composed it. The menu also offered cutting boards of researched cured meats with particular seasonings to make them sophisticated, I would have tried them all, but I will save them for the next time. The proposals differ from the commercial ones found in traditional bars where you don't even know where the cured meats come from and often you know to have more margins you don't offer quality. Of course you have to know about it to taste the products offered and not all palates can interpret their refinement well. The environment is absolutely relaxing and offers tables in the shade of a beautiful tree. The price is in line with the quality offered.

26/04/2025: Se accetti una prenotazione sono un tuo cliente. Un ospite che devi far sentire benvenuto. Se gli dai via il tavolo gli manchi di rispetto. Questo mi hanno insegnato nelle migliaia di ristoranti in un centinaio di paesi del mondo in cui sono stato ospite prima che cliente. La vostra è stata mancanza di rispetto. Solo questo è sufficiente a recensire questo pseudo ristorante. Ho prenotato 48 ore prima concordando (avendo un cagnolino) uno specifico tavolo. Arrivati in orario, il tavolo era occupato e ci hanno dirottato o sul tavolo davanti al bagno od a quello attaccato alla porta d’ingresso (con un cane). Ho chiesto prima di ordinare se potevo parlare con il titolare. Mi è stato risposto che era occupato in cucina. Comunque ho mangiato pagato e nessuno si è presentato e scusato, anche se ormai il servizio era terminato. Il vino bianco della casa pessimo, il formaggio alla piastra senza sapore. Tutto dozzinale. Al momento di pagare ti presentano il solito preconto e se chiedi di pagare con carta devi alzarti e pagare al banco deve per magia spunta uno scontrino fiscale. Il cameriere (bravo) ma che alla fine di ogni piatto chiedeva tutto bene in modo automatico come se nulla gli importasse non avendo capito che ormai la serata era stata rovinata. La cassiera barista con cui avevo prenotato che non si è nemmeno scusata senza forse capire la gravità del suo gesto di far occupare da altri un tavolo già prenotato. Forse per questo questa valle, povera, piovosa, triste, dove non c’è nulla, i negozi sono chiusi o sono in vendita, dove neanche gli abeti sono verdi seccati da non so quale insetto, resterà quello che è e non sarà mai un posto turistico. Perché i titolari delle attività resteranno sempre nelle catacombe a cucinare ed i giovani collaboratori non riusciranno mai a capire come si tratta realmente il cliente. Come lo si fa sentire benvenuto, come lo si farà ritornare. Sono stato due mesi in Cadore perché avevo pensato (sbagliando non essendoci mai stato) che poteva essere un bel posto dove comprare una seconda casa, e per fortuna il 4 maggio essendo qui dal 9 marzo, partirò non ci metterò mai più piede xche’ l’accoglienza turistica e la bellezza dei luoghi sono un’altra cosa. 24/09/2025: I ordered a coffee and my girlfriend used the bathroom. When I stood up to use it as well, the owner told me I could only do so if I ordered something else. She insisted this was “very logical.” Sadly, any sense of hospitality seems completely lost here.

22/03/2025: Ho tanti bei ricordi legati al Rifugio Scoiattoli, dove vado abitualmente fin da quando ero piccola con i miei genitori, ma il trattamento di sabato 15 marzo è stato molto deludente. La direttrice di sala e una delle cameriere ci hanno trattato con scortesia e prepotenza, evidentemente con l'obiettivo di far mangiare il maggior numero di persone nel minor tempo possibile e liberare i tavoli velocemente. Nonostante fosse in corso una nevicata e stessimo aspettando un’amica in arrivo, una delle cameriere ci ha intimato di mangiare in mezz’ora, una richiesta che non è stata fatta agli altri tavoli arrivati dopo di noi. La situazione è degenerata con un'aggressione verbale della direttrice di sala, solo perché cercavamo di fare partire l’ordine della nostra amica un po' dopo il nostro, per far sì che potesse mangiare al suo arrivo. Nonostante avessimo ordinato vari piatti e dolci, ci continuavano a mettere sotto pressione per liberare il tavolo, anche se ci stavamo mettendo lo stesso tempo degli altri tavoli (in tutto un'ora e 10 minuti, incluso il pagamento del conto). A un certo punto, la direttrice ci ha detto, in malo modo e con toni alti, che forse avremmo dovuto andare a mangiare in un ristorante stellato. Questo trattamento ha rovinato la percezione di un posto a cui eravamo affezionate e non è certo il trattamento accogliente che ci si aspetta nelle Dolomiti. Non è ammissibile trattare male i clienti e mettere questo tipo di pressione per accomodare più persone possibili. La reputazione che il rifugio si era costruita era basata sulla qualità del cibo e l’accoglienza. Si invita la direzione a una seria riflessione su che tipi di trattamenti e messaggi vogliono mandare ai clienti.

16/03/2025: Estábamos de excursión en la zona de montaña Cinque Torri y paramos para almorzar aquí como nos recomendó nuestra recepcionista del hotel. Era un día soleado glorioso, así que estaban muy ocupados. Por suerte consiguieron encontrarnos una mesa fuera de la cual era perfecto. ¡Tenía los mejores raviolis caseros de remolacha! De hecho, todos los platos que se estaban sacando se ven fantásticos. El pan era excelente también - siempre el signo de un buen restaurante. Recomendaría encarecidamente este rifugio para el almuerzo en las montañas!

18/07/2025: sono andato in questa pizzeria e ristorante con due ospiti americani che mi avevano chiesto di provare una buona e vera pizza "Italian style" e non solo la pizza è stata un ottima conferma - pizza Napoli style - ma anche il resto del cibo ordinato è stato superlativo. Nota di merito per la Parmigiana di Melanzane che era da urlo. Altra nota di grandissimo merito per i miei parametri...velocissimi e onesti. Abbiamo mangiato in meno di un'ora ed era tutto ottimo a prezzi assolutamente normali

24/07/2025: …wir waren Mitte Juni 2025 zum Abendessen im Dolom'eats all'Aquila in Cortina D'Ampezzo. Wir hatten Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte, alles ansprechend appetitlich angerichtet und geschmacklich ausgezeichnet – was das war, sieht man auf den Bildern. Auch das Ambiente ist klasse. Der Service war nicht schlecht, aber von der etwas zu lockeren Art her, nicht so ganz unser Fall. Alles in allem war unser Abendessen ausgezeichnet – nicht billig (hochwertig) und den Preis auf alle Fälle wert.

06/04/2025: Non lo consiglio, noi abbiamo preso delle tagliatelle con i funghi ma non avevano di niente, poi abbiamo preso anche una cotoletta di vitello con patatine e mi portano un pezzo di “carne” cotto nel olio che non so che carne era, il tagliere dei affettati era buono…..

20/03/2025: Este restaurante en Cortina es muy grande con muchas mesas, así que a pesar de no haber reservado pudimos cenar después de esperar un poco de cola. Tienen una gran variedad de pizzas, estaban muy ricas y también la panna cota.

29/05/2025: I leave one star out of human pity. I wonder if we were unlucky or if those who write reviews and give 5 stars are totally devoid of critical sense and discernment. Snail dinner: Absurd service: 4 rounds to bring back one snail (or 2) at a time, insisting on appetizers, since the only good course was the snails à la bourguignonne (obviously no seconds were offered on those). Appetizers and so-called "first course" practically identical and tasteless: chopped snails with a "nervetti-style" consistency, with a tasteless/watered-down sauce; the difference was that the appetizer was unpleasantly cold, while the polenta was unpleasantly lukewarm. No interesting pairings: not with some sauce or cheese, not with a crouton or whatever... a thousand other possible ideas: appetizer with an unseasoned radish in the center that had nothing to do with it, rolls of rancid bacon (neither crunchy nor tasty... practically boiled...). Side dishes, or rather, side dishes: terrine of cabbages in the middle of the table, without a plate for vegetables (were they perhaps to be mixed with the polenta, since there was no alternative?). Red wine in bulk "not bad", just to try to find a sufficient, the rest I asked myself a question: "but how can you propose a dinner like that? Taking away the decent bourguignonne course, the rest... if we pay 25 euros per person it's a steal"... so I thought. The bill, which I attach, is shocking: 45 euros per person!!!!!!!!! There are those who work hard to afford a dinner, it is useless to offer the abundant bitter at the counter, because the focus is on those who are gentlemen and do not express themselves (because they do not distinguish, or out of pity?). Well, I am still a lady, precisely because, unlike many who are considerate or modest, I ALWAYS exercise in every context, the constitutional freedom of opinion and also of expression. So "no comment, dinner to forget" could have been enough, instead I spent my time helping those who love quality and investing the hard-earned money in something tasty and emotionally valid. I attach the incredible bill. The human race works like a flock of sheep, but not all follow the poor specimens that have fallen into the ravine. Of course, the latest events of these years demonstrate that the black sheep or "colored" as I call them, are few, but they bleat in an effective way, sometimes, against the various wolves, dangers, or ravines. Not all line up with their heads bowed. Even Digital transhumanism is extinguishing critical thinking, in many, but: in some it even accentuates it, instead! Rather than so many tasteless and even ugly to look at dishes (no color, no aesthetic care in the plating), one well-prepared and well-accompanied dish would have been enough!!! I remember very well the snails that my mother used to make (she wasn't a chef, but if there is quality and a little love in doing it, good results naturally follow): simple but well cooked, with a thick sauce, well blended and very tasty!!! I expect a consolation that compensates of some kind, like an excellent dinner, and with an adequate price, I hope soon (certainly elsewhere!), if karma exists, otherwise let's invent it ourselves.. !! Long live freedom, always! Invest your time and money well: life is short anyway because it passes and must be lived intensely and, where possible, choosing quality. Ah...the dessert wasn't homemade, but at least...it didn't contain the revisited minced snails...
