12/10/2025: Da Aldo restaurant in Legnago is a pleasant discovery! The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The dishes are carefully prepared, generous, and made with quality ingredients. Both the traditional dishes and the house specialties are excellent. A perfect place for a dinner with friends or a relaxed lunch. Highly recommended for those seeking authentic, good Veronese cuisine!

24/09/2025: First time for a quick business lunch. I was pleasantly surprised by the elegantly professional service, which made me feel at home even though we'd never met before. I appreciate the desire to offer the most pleasant service possible without being cloying, where you can feel the attention to detail and thoughtful design. The food and wine selection is excellent, the location is easy to reach, with ample reserved parking, and the prices are in line with the quality. Da Aldo has become one of my favorite places. I'll be back for both business and personal occasions. Congratulations, guys, and thank you.

01/09/2025: We had the most wonderful experience at this Italian restaurant in Venice. From the moment we arrived, the owner, Hamza, welcomed us with such warmth and genuine hospitality. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, and his kindness made the evening feel so special. Hamza shared a thoughtful reminder with us — that “these times won’t come back” — and it really captured the spirit of the night: enjoying good food, good company, and creating memories that last forever. The food itself was authentic and delicious, but what made this place stand out was the heart behind it. Thank you, Hamza, for making our time in Venice unforgettable. 30/08/2025: No dedicated vegan menu but has a few descent options (no protein) and staff were very friendly and knew the menu enough to provide/ point out options! Note the pesto does contain cheese. The items I remember being indicated as vegan were: Mushroom risotto Spaghetti Pomodoro Mixed vegetables Tagliatelle allé verdure* * The Tagliatelle noodle is made with egg but our server offered to make it with another pasta shape (I did spaghetti and it was absolutely delicious!! Super flavourful and would buy again!) Swapped noodle spaghetti Really wonderful service and experience!!

10/10/2025: I've worked in the restaurant business for many years, and when you walk into a place that knows how to do things right, you can tell right away. The place is truly beautiful, well-kept, clean, and well-maintained. The staff is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. They even offered me some delicious vegan options! They were truly amazing. Every restaurant experience should be like this. We had a wonderful time, and I highly recommend it!

16/10/2025: So you can see that the whole restaurant is going down the drain. Instead of Italian gastronomy, it's German. One wine fridge at the bar disappeared and was replaced by beer. The portions have shrunk 3 times and a whole page of burgers has been added to the menu. And last but not least, I was struck by the dirty word ketchup in Italy, which convinced me enough to not go here again. Maybe I'll just wish you Mahlzeit!!! 🤭

09/10/2025: Without doubt, the worst evening on our holiday at Lake Garda. This establishment came highly recommended by our B&B host, so we willingly made the long journey up the mountain to the middle of nowhere in the dark. Very indifferent welcome, and indifferent service, impatient and unfriendly. Clearly this is a place for Italians and they make no allowance for English guests. I can speak basic conversational Italian, so I really did make an effort, but when I asked the waitress to please slow down (when she was addressing us in Italian), she simply became impatient and stroppy. Vegetables/salads come on a trolley and are cold. My food was completely and utterly tasteless (starter and main course) and both were absolutely swimming in butter (the mound of polenta for starter literally had a moat of melted butter all around it). Owner is unfriendly and impatient if you are not yet ready to order when he comes to your table. We didn't finish our food or our wine, and didn't bother with dessert. Nobody bid us farewell when we left.

15/10/2025: "We're not there." Not because of the quality of the dishes or the service, but because of the prices. Following the waiter's advice, we ordered three identical first courses of the day, 0.75 l of water, three glasses of house white wine, and three coffees. Basically, a first course cost €45 each. Considering the area and the location, the prices are those of a Michelin-starred restaurant.

14/10/2025: We spent two days in Verona and went twice. The first day we ate a typical local dish, risotto al tastasal. Very good and filling. We noticed that the pasta was also made to order. It wasn't pre-cooked. It looked very good. The next day we went for dinner. We had tagliata and horse pastisada. Excellent. Reasonable prices. Very friendly service.
