27/01/2026: A charming, well-heated place, with beautifully presented, appealing dishes, and excellent quality, especially the meat. The service is excellent, friendly but not intrusive. A special star for the wine list...well done! Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a refined place, surrounded by vineyards and a view of the lake, where you can eat well and drink just as well.

22/12/2025: We had dinner at this lovely Osteria. The gentleman was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, he made sure that we enjoyed ourselves throughout our dinner. The food was also excellent and we loved Trancio di Tonno (seared tuna) - beautifully rare inside. They also offered us home-made bread that just came out of the oven, which was a big bonus. We would recommend this Osteria to anybody, who shares a passion for good food and appreciates a warm welcome.

26/02/2026: Dinner with friends on Thursday. The atmosphere was lovely, the decor simple yet sophisticated. The food was excellent, the service top-notch. The manager (Emanuela) was very kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. We'll definitely be back. Recommended.

06/02/2026: When we want to treat ourselves, we come here. The place is beautiful, and the menu changes seasonally but features mostly local and home-grown produce. The two of us shared an appetizer and a first course, and we each had two second courses, two glasses of wine, and two coffees for €94. We were full for dessert, but they offered us fritters with coffee... there weren't any left!

23/12/2025: Nice place (from what I understand, it's under new management, but I'm not mistaken), excellent food (obviously meat-based, but the first course with "spungoi" mushrooms was truly sublime), the rib-eye steak Sashi was truly delicious, as were the various side dishes. Recommended appetizers, desserts could use a little work, but they're decent, and a good wine selection. The only real drawback is the parking lot; if you have a low or wide car, avoid the one upstairs. Definitely worth returning, though.

06/03/2026: We went to this restaurant since it had good reviews. We had a good experience, although I was a bit disappointed with the desserts since they were too sweet. Also, we ordered a "Lasagnette pasta fresca al sughi ragù" which was not bad but could've been better.

03/02/2026: You feel right at home, a family atmosphere where good food and joy reign. I had the opportunity to try their paella, and although I'm a real fish critic, I found it to be truly top-quality, with carefully selected and incredibly cooked ingredients. Diverse selection of wines and beers! Highly recommended! It's a shame I can only give it a 5 ⭐️

04/03/2026: We stayed at Al Capriolo during the Olympics and fell in love with the lodging, decor and the food. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful B&B in Cortina and its very welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was outstanding, with delicious options and great attention to detail. It was the perfect way to start the day. What truly made the experience special was the exceptional service. The hosts were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making sure every guest feels at home. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cortina. We have an Airbnb of our own in the U.S. and a vacation home in Menton, France. This property is so lovely that we would return again as the property is a destination of its own.

17/09/2025: Writing this in a spirit of euphoria still sitting at my table at the RistoPub Rossini, after having been served the best onion rings I have ever had, and a “Venice Burger” which honoured the city’s name through its over-the-top three tier culinary spectacle. The spectacular food wouldn't have mattered had it not been served with the attention, care, and smile of the friendly waiting staff who had been as happy as the entire atmosphere of the place. If you need a break from pizzas and pastas (not that that’s the whole spectrum of Italian cuisine), and are reminiscing a bit of the 90s, then, this is your place. It’s somewhat hidden in an alley - and that works, because the patrons here are of a different sort!! Highly recommended!
