31/05/2025: It is said to have been restored in 1926 with a dodecagonal tower. It is a typical Romanesque cathedral with a basilica structure, but it was restored in modern times, and it feels like it has a bit of a Gothic feel and later architectural styles added to it, so it feels familiar yet new when you look at it.

15/04/2025: St. Andreas has the most beautiful church tower I have seen in a long time. Great Romanesque work.

26/05/2025: Siamo stati da Mamme' per cena, siamo stati accolti con grande professionalità e cortesia, il cibo è cucinato con molta passione e competenza. Complimenti, ora che vi abbiamo scoperto, torneremo sicuramente.

23/04/2025: Un Viaggio Sensoriale firmato dallo Chef Tommaso Mintineri che dopo aver lavorato in diversi ristoranti stellati nel mondo, apre il suo (fortunatamente) a Stroncone vicinissimo a Terni. Da Mammè, quando ci si siede a tavola, inizia un vero viaggio, un percorso culinario orchestrato magistralmente dallo chef Montineri, un talento raro che con la sua esperienza trasforma ogni piatto in poesia. Posso dire unico a Terni??? Un ristorante che non è solo un luogo dove mangiare, ma dove vivere un momento unico. Un applauso sentito allo chef Montineri e alla sua brigata. Ci ritorneremo. 25/07/2025: An honest Italian bar and small family restaurant. Pasta and pizza were good, service friendly and swift.

16/07/2025: We dined on an appetizer and two first courses (handmade gnocchi with ragù and pasta with sausage and asparagus) accompanied by a glass of wine. The dishes were carefully prepared and tasty. A gluten-free alternative was available and readily available.

07/05/2025: It's difficult to find Mangiavino because there is no advertising sign to draw attention to it. Even standing right in front of the inconspicuous house, you don't expect what's inside. Once you've finally found your way in, you'll find a well-kept ambience that suddenly brings relaxation. You eat with good jazz music and you just want to stay seated and not leave! The menu is small but successful: bravo!

25/04/2025: The service was very kind, there are no flaws in fact... you go to a place that isn't advertised, without much advertising and you expect something else... instead, there are people, the environment is jovial and peaceful, like the surrounding Umbrian countryside, the food is made with passion and art, and I must say, even though the place was chosen by two beautiful Roman groups, and it was quite full, everything was like a flash of light on a miserable day in terms of weather conditions. Compliments go to the chef who has a light cuisine but it shows, made with a choice of elements from his own garden, well done everyone, I will be back

30/06/2025: A lovely, quiet break. The access may seem a bit like a sleepy place, but the grounds and service are well-maintained. The dinner is a bit overpriced; I guess we know you won't leave once you're seated...

29/07/2025: Very rustic inside, with a lovely open oven that'll make your mouth water. The fillet was cooked perfectly. The meat was excellent.

21/07/2025: We were there on Sunday for lunch with 5 people. A note of merit for the service. The staff was fast and helpful, really good. We had the house appetizer, Terni ciriole and carbonara and for second courses the local pizza and mixed meat, finally two desserts. The appetizer was average, both first courses excellent, the grilled meat was soft and of high quality. The trifle was top.

29/07/2025: A beautiful and welcoming place. You can sit and admire the Orvieto Cathedral in complete relaxation. Excellent food. I highly recommend the truly spectacular platter. The first courses are also noteworthy. Fantastic! The staff is truly kind and exquisite; the owner is a unique person, affable, helpful, and always smiling. He puts his customers at ease with his professionalism and helpfulness. I highly recommend this place to anyone in Orvieto looking for a beautiful and relaxing evening.

21/03/2025: Dinner was a wonderful experience. Intimate venue, attentive and efficient service, excellent dishes and wines. We ordered the tartare and the sirloin, excellent meat and very successful preparation. We are left looking forward to the next visit... Well done Hourglass and well done Emiliano.

02/08/2025: Abbiamo cenato un paio di volte e ci siamo trovati molto bene come locale, come cibo (cucina locale) e per la cordialità gentilezza e simpatia della titolare sig.ra Cristina. Da ritornare in una eventuale futura occasione.

28/07/2025: Trattoria semplice con menù umbro di buona qualità. Buona la Ceriola al tartufo nero ed anche l'antipasto di pesce del lago. Servizio efficiente. Buon rapporto prezzo qualità.

12/07/2025: I was drawn in by the tasteful jazz music and on first site the menu looked good, but a huge but indeed there is, mediocre quality of the food there is, chicken liver pate was dried out on the sides therefor not fresh garnished with orange zest bitter as hell and some dried out truffle shaving and on top some gin jelly, the sweet bread served with it made it bearable but overall bitter was the code word. the carbonara afterwards, served close to cold salted as it was made by someone whose taste buds stopped functioning a long time ago, a waste of food. Another remark, our wineglasses where poured conservatively compared to our American "neighbours" and this twice. Overpaid for what is was worth. not to say to avoid this place but consider yourself warned, the charming Jazz music is the only thing positive here *edit ,you're right the comment about the Conservative pouring the glasses was childish of me, it was a factual statement but not one that killed it for me. The ET remark? how inappropriate and unprofessional , my comment about the food was, again, factual, the pate was dried out on the borders ...read :a darker colour when too long exposed in open air , every knows that, no? the Gin Jelly Bread? Not well balanced in my opinion, I'm merely pointing out how this was perceived, why is this, again, being criticised with a childish remark? Instead of countering this review as an insult to your bigger than life service try to do better, be critical about how this service was perceived and improve. And for your knowledge , your Neighbour restaurant ( on your left side when you face your own) was absolutely fabulous. Food, wine , service, it missed the great music tough, so when it's good I write very very positive reviews. May the force e with you, yours truly, ET

04/07/2025: An absolutely delightful dinner from start to finish. The service was warm and attentive, with excellent recommendations that made our evening even more enjoyable. After bringing our “La Dolce Vita” program to Bistrò Miranda, we knew we had to return to savour a meal ourselves—and it did not disappoint. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. A true gem in Orvieto.

13/07/2025: I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. It's a place where you can eat excellent seafood, especially in a truly charming corner of Terni's historic center, with a unique atmosphere. I'd also add that the service is impeccable and extremely friendly. You won't regret it!

27/05/2025: Ristorante adorabile in pieno centro a Terni. Nella mia famiglia siamo tutti* vegan ed è decisamente complicato trovare un ristorante che abbia un menù vegano a Terni che non offra solo pasta al pomodoro. Qui oltre all'infinita gentilezza e disponibilità della chef e del personale, ho ritrovato innovazione e ricerca nelle pietanze e cura sia del cliente che della materia prima. Consiglio vivamente il tortino di patate con fonduta di nocciole : spaziale!!
