I'm from another city, and every time I come I try to come to you for the pastries and the acclaimed pizza sfoglia (which they say you claim to have invented). I've never found anything. At 11:30 the pastries are always sold out and the pizza sfoglia is never available. This time, however, the girls, very kind, told me "the pizza sfoglia will be out in half an hour." Perfect, I came back half an hour later to find that the pan was already empty. Maybe, if you claim to be the "fathers" of pizza sfoglia and know it's in demand, you could make more than one pan, right? And at 12:00, too. I envy the locals, who, from what I read in the reviews, always get the timing right 😂 if the miracle of being able to taste something happens, I'll update the review. Cheers!

22/04/2026: If you want to eat gluten-free at Katia's, you have to go! A thin, crispy pizza with dough made by her and not frozen like many do, very tasty with lactose-free mozzarella! There's something for everyone! Also supplì, arancini, potato croquettes and Ascolana olives, all gluten-free! Fabulous!

01/03/2026: We found it by chance and called without knowing. We introduced ourselves and discovered it was a takeaway with an adjoining dining room where they allowed food and drinks. I'd say it was a pleasant surprise. The pizzas were good, the service was good, and the mixed fried foods were also good, although, in our opinion, they'd slightly overcharged us, since we'd first complimented them and then asked for more, so they obviously "ripped us off." I should point out that the second order wasn't listed on the menu because we asked for a specific product (chili pepper and ricotta). But it's just a feeling....still good.

06/04/2026: I'll start by saying that the food was good, except for the semifreddo, which arrived frozen. We had to wait an hour and a half for anything to arrive at our table (including bread), but today was Easter Monday, and that was fine until I noticed three tables who had arrived much later than us were eating. We reported the matter, and then an arrogant and presumptuous woman from the kitchen came and said that she was working while we weren't, so we had no right to complain. A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE.

06/04/2026: It was a holiday, so we'd expected a wait, without any presumption of being served quickly, but almost an hour and a half seemed a bit excessive, especially given the small size of the place. But then I noticed that three tables who arrived after us were eating, so I mentioned this to the (then friendly) waiter. The lady in the kitchen addressed us in a rather unusual manner, so it was an absolutely NEGATIVE experience! I know what it's like to work in the restaurant business, especially on chaotic and holiday days, but I think the lack of observation and kindness is completely out of place.

02/03/2026: On our way back from Assisi, this place is very convenient, close to the Foligno Nord exit. Beautiful atmosphere, very friendly staff, and convenient parking. The four of us chose meat-based gastronomic options with different flavors, from appetizers to main courses, and we were all thoroughly satisfied. The quality of the ingredients was good, as was the presentation of the dishes and the service was informal yet attentive and unobtrusive. Excellent value. Recommended.

Cleanliness is top-notch: every room is meticulously cared for, and the attention paid to guests is immediately apparent. The linens are superior quality, a true touch of luxury: the cotton is extraordinary, soft, and enveloping. The bed deserves special mention, with its superb mattress and topper that guarantee an excellent night's sleep. The four pillows, all finished with elegant ruffled pillowcases and piping, add another touch of class. The bathroom—or rather, the actual bathroom—is equipped with every comfort: plenty of soft, scented towels, and a rich and carefully curated complimentary toiletries. Nothing is left to chance; every detail contributes to creating an atmosphere of welcome and refinement. The owners are extremely kind and helpful, always ready to make guests feel at home. Breakfast is another highlight: top-quality local products and homemade pastries, fresh and delicious. A stay that exceeded expectations in every way. Highly recommended.

08/02/2026: To access the room, the flight of stairs is practically vertical: climbing them, and even more so descending them with a trolley and backpack, is quite a challenge. Upon arrival, the room was cold; it's unclear why they would ask for an arrival time if showering is impossible and you have to stay dressed for at least three or four hours until the temperature reaches at least 20 degrees Celsius. The hosts are very kind, as is the breakfast. This is probably a place that is at its best from spring to autumn.

28/04/2026: My husband and I spent a weekend in Foligno and had dinner at this restaurant. The food was excellent, with delicious, tender meat. The owner and waitress were very friendly, helpful, and kind. They made us feel right at home, dining with friends. There was background music, and we all sang along. The owner's friendliness is commendable, as he enlivens the evening by getting everyone involved and singing along. After the grilled meat, a nice plate of pasta is also a good choice.
