They work on Sundays by the way.
16/08/2025: The granita wasn't very good but it was acceptable. The cream looked like ricotta in both shape and taste.

20/08/2025: We had dinner last night, everything was delicious and plentiful. Mauro brought complimentary appetizers, focaccia and bruschetta, all delicious. For the first course, excellent strangozzi with porcini mushrooms, and for the second course, lamb with excellent baked potatoes.
All washed down with a lovely bottle of Sagrantino. The bill was very fair, excellent value for money.

22/08/2025: Colfiorito as a whole is a place with a lot of potential, but a regrettable air of neglect: I'm not referring to the earthquake damage, of course, but to the widespread disorder and general neglect. It's a real shame, given that there are so many beautiful things to offer.
The owners of this hotel are truly very, very kind and helpful, but the place shows several signs of neglect (the scraggly garden, the broken walls, the peeling window frames, bird poop accumulating on the terrace railing...). The cleanliness of the common areas and the room could be improved.
Breakfast is a sort of buffet, but the waitress also brings you other items upon request, although the quality and freshness could be improved.
I love cats, but anyone who was bothered by them would be very embarrassed, given that they roam everywhere.
The hotel has ample parking, tennis courts, and a large, but still untidy-looking, swimming pool.
Overall, we had a good time, but we often had to turn a blind eye. I'm very sorry to point out these shortcomings, because the owner is a truly wonderful person, but it's only right that travelers have a clear idea of where they're spending their money.
The dinner, however, was truly excellent.

01/06/2025: A down to earth tobacco bar. The owner is always jovial and helpful. They have a sisal machine for recharging and paying bills. They have a tobacco machine outside that allows you to pay by card.

27/07/2025: Wow! What can I say about this little gem! Definitely the best tiramisu I've ever tasted! Really attentive staff as well! Lovely atmosphere and music! My favorite is the salted caramel! Top quality!
25/07/2025: The service was friendly (as is the case everywhere in the city 😊), but the pistachio tiramisu didn't have the pistachio cream like in the photo. The waiter's response: the cream is now incorporated into the mixture. Unfortunately, the tiramisu didn't taste of pistachios at all, making it hard to believe. It was served in a thin plastic bowl. A real shame... the coffee, unfortunately, was just as disappointing :(

19/04/2025: Da tempo un mio amico mi suggeriva di mangiare in questo posto e finalmente sono riuscito ad andarci. Bel locale, con ampia scelta al banco di dolci e focacce e, soprattutto, a quello della gastronomia. Mi piace anche il fatto che non ci sia un menù alla carta fisso. I piatti che ci sono stati serviti erano abbondanti e ben conditi, li ho graditi tutti (e non solo io). Molto cortese il personale. Non male il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

17/04/2025: Ho passato due mesi a Foligno ed è un peccato aver trovato solo gli ultimi tre giorni i Dei Franceschi...le luci rendono l'ambiente rilassante...la Padrona di casa Cinzia e, la mamma, ottime cuoche e persone squisite...le portate e la Pinsa buonissime!!!...Quando tornerò a Foligno sarà un posto fisso per la cena...Assolutamente da provare...ah...più di una volta!!!!

29/05/2025: La sangria è buonissima, e le pietanze pure di più 😀
Abbiamo preso un antipasto misto, straordinariamente vario, e soprattutto con ogni elemento cucinato con estrema maestria: in ogni boccone si poteva apprezzare la grande dedizione della cuoca, nel produrre i suoi manicaretti.
Poi, una paella alla valenciana, abbondante e squisita. Infine, un dolce millefoglie alla crema chantilly con le fragole, semplicemente superlativo.
Il servizio è stato preciso, attento e veloce; non avremmo potuto desiderare di meglio.
Il locale è raccolto ed arredato con gusto raffinato, ci sono molti bei riferimenti alla vita e cultura spagnola.
Ci ritornerò sicuramente a breve, con i familiari e gli amici più cari, e nel frattempo mi sento di onsigliarlo, anzi di raccomandarlo caldamente a tutti

25/04/2025: I'm on Erasmus, working and studying and it doesn't hurt to go out to relax a little from time to time, I would say that it is one of the best places in Foligno, the atmosphere is great, the music too, but the cake goes to Nicolás, the mixologist is a real genius with drinks, I asked him to make me a surprise cocktail but to bring whiskey! And what a good decision! Mucho Grazie Nico!

08/07/2025: If you arrive here, it's not by chance, and it's not by chance that you encounter two people of genuine depth, whose life experiences are informed by sincere and sensitive choices. The offerings are structured and carefully selected, seeking products free from industrial degradation. The ingredients are simple and sourced from small local producers, carefully selected for their ethical and organic values. The wine is genuine and unique in its flavor. I imagine it was a challenge for these two wonderful people to open a place here, off the beaten track, where it's not easy to spend the winter, but I hope they endure thanks to their love and the sensitive culture that distinguishes them. People to whom one inevitably grows fond.

03/09/2025: I had the pleasure of organizing an anniversary dinner at Tamiso restaurant, and I couldn't say it was a better choice.
The patience and dedication of the owner and his staff ensured that all my requests were met from day one until the party was held.
My guests are still remembering the evening days later.
The quality food always satisfied us, from the appetizers onwards, and a special mention must be made of the supreme tiramisu, which provided a sweet ending to the evening.

28/08/2025: We arrived with a reservation. The place was welcoming and charming. The dishes were decent. We ordered a plate of cold cuts with bruschetta, potatoes under ashes, bucatini all'amatriciana, and strangozzi alla spoletina. None of them impressed us. The potatoes baked in foil were good but had nothing to do with the ashes, and the bucatini and strangozzi were both drowned in sauce. We waited over half an hour for them.
The staff were young but unresponsive and inexperienced, and I speak with full knowledge of the facts. Not very confident... Given the premises, and considering the location, we expected better.
