16/08/2025: We went for dinner at Mattera (Madia in the local dialect). The atmosphere is simple but pleasant, the service is quick and attentive, and the food is good. The menu isn't varied; it offers a weekly menu with two appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, and some desserts. We chose spare ribs with peppers, rigatoni with white ragù, pigeon, and a bottle of rosé wine + water. The spare ribs with peppers were special, the rigatoni was good, but the pigeon itself wasn't my cup of tea. I should point out that I've never eaten pigeon; perhaps my expectations were too high.

16/08/2025: If you're in Foligno, you can't miss eating at Mattera. A true, honest osteria, serving quality dishes and traditional Umbrian cuisine. The menu changes weekly; there are just a few dishes, but they're all guaranteed to be a hit. An honorable mention goes to the pigeon, always on the menu and a house specialty. If (like me) you've never eaten it before, try it—you won't regret it! The friendly service makes you feel right at home. Bravo!

20/08/2025: Located on the edge of Foligno's historic center, strategically located so you don't enter the restricted traffic zone (ZTL), yet a 10-minute walk to the city center and a 5-minute drive to the main road junctions for other towns. Pet-friendly hotel, with final sanitization for €10. Quiet and well-insulated rooms. Elevator to upper rooms. Excellent restaurant serving Umbrian dishes. Every area is immaculately clean, from the rooms to the reception, from the breakfast room to the TV room. Extremely friendly and professional staff in every area. Public paid parking is available on the adjacent street, with a maximum rate of €6.15 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, then free. The building and rooms are classically designed, yet functional. Bathrooms have a bidet and generously sized shower. Breakfast offers a wide variety of pastries, yogurt, juices, coffee, hard-boiled eggs, ham, cheese, bread, and more. In front of the hotel, in addition to the public parking, you can stroll along the walls of the historic center alongside the river. Highly recommended.

18/08/2025: Amazing food! Professional waiters, the owner is always present and available, and the cuisine is extraordinary! We tried the pasta dishes and fish, which were beautifully cooked with combinations of ingredients that gave the dish a unique and particularly delicious flavor. Congratulations to everyone, you show great preparation and professionalism in what you do.

10/06/2025: Delicious dinner in a super place in the center of Foligno. All the soups are worth trying and the tasting menu is recommended. Very friendly staff!!! I would go back

07/06/2025: What can I say, a unique idea that was truly successful. Everything was excellent and delicious, impeccable service! Oh, and super reasonable prices. Attention to detail from the aromas and smells that garnish and flavor the fresh dishes that are picked at the moment to the daily menu change. (Printed on sheets that change every day, not by everyone). What can I say, if you are in these parts, in my opinion it is a must-see.

15/08/2025: While visiting the center of Foligno at lunchtime, we stopped at this norcineria. When we asked to sample some of the typical Umbrian specialties, the owner patiently served us a generous appetizer with cheeses and a wide variety of traditional cured meats. All accompanied by torta al testo and an excellent glass of Montefalco red wine. The staff were truly friendly.

15/08/2025: We had a wonderful aperitivo on a pouring summer day, accompanied by immense human warmth. The excellent food, made with top-quality ingredients, is certainly worth mentioning, but above all, we will cherish the excellent service and kindness of the owner and his entire staff. Since it was pouring outside (including hail), and we were carrying our three-month-old daughter in a stroller and without an umbrella, the owner even offered to drive us to get it. We didn't accept the ride, but this small gesture of thoughtfulness will remain as memorable as his products.

10/08/2025: A very positive experience: you immediately feel at home thanks to the setting and the informal yet attentive service. Excellent selection of local dishes and generous portions (if you find the Zuppa Inglese, don't miss it). Highly recommended!

01/08/2025: Generous portions, exquisite tagliatelle della nonna! I personally didn't like the carbonara because the egg was overcooked. I didn't like the fact that even though we arrived first and told them we were ready to order, they took the orders of two other tables, who were obviously regulars. Very fair prices!

12/08/2025: A pleasant place with friendly and helpful staff. The pizzas are excellent, but the grilled meat is definitely worth trying, with a "Master Griller" who can offer excellent suggestions for cutting the meat and preparing it according to your tastes and preferences. Outdoor dining is also available.

19/06/2025: Kind and friendly staff, applause to the girl who served us, simple and genuine food. A bit spartan environment, but relative. We will be back.

05/08/2025: We went to dinner at this restaurant recommended by a local friend, and I have to say we had a great time: the house appetizer was excellent and plentiful, the first course was truly tasty, and perhaps the meat-based second course could have been a little better, except for the lamb, which was very good. The house wine was not bad. The portions were all very generous, the staff were friendly, and the overall price was average. Recommended!

19/06/2025: Where to start? It was amazing! Everything was superlatives! We had pasta course with chef Ledy Silva, who is lovely and cooks incredible. All the staff there is wonderful: so attentive, so kind, so eager to make you feel relaxed and happy. The house is rustic and very well taken care of, with details that blow your mind. The pool is a great asset. The villa itself is perfect for an unforgettable vacation/event. I for one, will never forget the amazing time I had there!

15/07/2025: A very well-maintained, modern restaurant with young, attentive, and above all competent staff. Very fast service with quality food. The "Me Te Magno Tutto" appetizer was excellent; two of us ate it easily...it's a sublime introduction to the rest of the courses. The "Maccheroni Cacio & Pork" and the "Carbonara" were good...average...the tagliata were also good...nothing exceptional, but good...

29/04/2025: Sul sito internet è "Locanda del Meno 3", ma ora si chiama "L'Osteria Ragriglia" piccolo problema per trovarla. Il locale è accogliente, pulito, sistemato adeguatamente e personale disponibile per ogni esigenza. Porzioni, servite in padelle, abbondanti e condite ottimamente. L'unica "pecca" è che non siamo stati avvisati del doppio turno (avremmo iniziato prima delle 13:15 o prenotato dopo le 14:00) e quindi abbiamo dovuto rinunciare al dolce, comunque il caffè e l'amaro lo abbiamo preso al bar sottostante che è della stessa gestione.

18/06/2025: Dinner with friends. Welcoming, beautiful and clean environment, characteristic. Damiano the fantastic owner! Fast service despite it being a Saturday night and the place full. We ate divinely, very fresh and quality raw materials. The wine of their production, Colibrì, lovely and perfect with the dishes. Highly recommended
