30/07/2025: A symphony to be tuned. It's always difficult to write a review when the experience doesn't quite resonate. At Trombone, the overture is promising: the courteous and helpful staff plays their score with good rhythm, and the dishes arrive on time. The terrace is a pleasant setting for a summer dinner, but the interior, unfortunately, lacks light and atmosphere, appearing a bit too "minor-key." The restaurant's soundtrack is provided by a small speaker that fails to evenly distribute the music, leaving the room in a dissonant silence broken only by unpleasant notes—a jarring detail, especially for a restaurant named after a wind instrument. Culinary-wise, the dishes are executed with reasonable technique but without any melodic flourishes. The cooked vegetable appetizer and baked potatoes are neutral, while the truffle pasta, though elegantly presented, lacks the expected crescendo of flavors: the truffle doesn't stand out from the crowd, and the lack of salt makes it necessary for the diner to directly intervene with salt, pepper, and oil to re-tune the flavors. A decidedly off-key note? The appearance, between one movement and another, of a cat, strolling slowly between the tables. A curious detail for some, but for others, it could disrupt the harmony of the experience. The menu, as other reviewers have noted, offers a rather limited selection: a choice that, if well-orchestrated, could become a strong point, but for now it feels more like a timid solo that doesn't dare. This review isn't meant to be a scathing judgment, but rather an invitation to re-tune. The basics are there: the score can work, it just needs a few more rehearsals, a more inspired conductor, and, above all, the will to transform a rough draft into a memorable concert. P.S. For the record, I've never ordered gluten-free pasta, but I've ordered something vegan.

10/07/2025: We absolutely loved our lunch at this restaurant! The terrace is truly stunning and the view enchanting. The very kind and helpful waitress always served us with courtesy and kindness. We absolutely loved the arrosticini with roasted potatoes and the flavorful cuisine at this restaurant! Finally, I personally loved the baked peaches! A simple and authentic dessert with truly incredible flavor!

02/06/2025: Tempi infiniti per l' ordinazione e comunque servizio disorganizzato al massimo. Primo arrivato con un capello poi comunque rimandato indietro. Nel complesso cibo discreto. Non lo consiglio in maniera decisa.

05/05/2025: Horrible servicio. No nos sentaron porque no teníamos reservas. Así que salí, hice una reserva en línea y volví y les dije que tenía reservas. Nos sentaron, pero estaban claramente molestos. Esto es a pesar de que el restaurante nunca estuvo más de 2 / 3 lleno. El servicio era extremadamente lento, sacaban las cosas a diferentes horas, etc. Además, la comida era promedio, en el mejor de los casos. No muy sabroso. Gran decepción.

02/06/2025: Indubbiamente la location è bella e piacevole ma non basta.. abbiamo preso pesce e carne, e non siamo rimasti particolarmente colpiti. .. Vino della casa piuttosto scarso.... Prezzo decisamente alto.

15/05/2025: Ottima scelta vegetariana, antipasto ricco, fettuccine con i funghi porcini molto buone. Io mio compagno ha mangiato un ottimo piatto con pesce di lago.

03/06/2025: Odio fare recensioni negative, ma questo posto ha un potenziale enorme, e sarebbe un peccato sprecarlo. Il posto è bellissimo, ed anche la sala, nella sua struttura è davvero bella. Purtroppo però le note positive finiscono qui. Dopo aver atteso una ventina di minuti ci sediamo e ordiniamo i primi che arrivano abbastanza velocemente. In quelli "rossi" però , la passata di pomodoro la faceva da padrone, e tutti avevano lo stesso sapore sia che ci fosse il guanciale della matriciana sia di fiori di zucca. Ma il problema più grande è stato il totale disinteresse del personale di servizio che ci ha praticamente ignorato per tutto il tempo, volevamo ordinare del vino ma la ragazza che ci ha portato l'acqua ci dice che il vino avremmo dovuto chiederlo ad un'altra (perché?) che non è mai arrivata al nostro tavolo. Terminati i primi abbiamo atteso a lungo che qualcuno ci notasse e alla fine siamo dovuti andare via perché si faceva tardi. Ora sono convinto che il nostro sia stato un caso sfortunato, però si può migliorare tanto!

01/06/2025: Ottimo ambiente e location. Molto buono il cibo con prezzi adeguati. Locale con tanto spazio e all'insegna del relax. Sono statcon la famiglia e tornerò sicuramente.

03/07/2025: Absolutely disgusting. We've never had such a bad meal in Italy. We ordered the steak. Inedible. Just like the lasagna. Never again!!! We returned the food. At least they didn't charge us. Go somewhere else!!! There are 100 better restaurants in Orvieto.

29/06/2025: Unfortunately my review from a few years ago no longer reflects reality, the cus club including the bambagioni and its swimming pool are managed superficially without care, interest and respect for its public of users...semi-impracticable tennis courts, winter absence or almost absence of heating and the swimming pool often under maintenance. Not to mention the s-courtesy of some employees....I'm very sorry, once it was a small oasis...

15/08/2025: Terrible experience. We called in the afternoon to ask if they made gluten-free pizzas, and once we got there, the pizzas we received were FROZEN. There was nothing salvageable about the pizza; even the tomato sauce was inedible! Plus, the service was poor; the waitress was pushy and unprofessional.

30/07/2025: I order three takeout pizzas. I'm immediately greeted with a freshly baked focaccia and a glass of wine. So much attention, not even at my mother's house. Thank you.

09/09/2025: A small group of 10 scouts were treated rudely and condescendingly by the owner, who, instead of helping us, rudely sent us away. What a shame.

24/08/2025: In the center of Assisi, a very intimate restaurant. Excellent service. Delicious local dishes. Helpful and knowledgeable staff.

02/05/2025: We had a reservation for dinner on May 1st at this place, and the opening for that evening had been confirmed. However, upon our arrival yesterday, we found the restaurant closed, without having received any communication. Luckily we managed to find another restaurant available at the last moment, but the situation was decidedly unpleasant.

30/03/2025: Noisy place where it's impossible to converse among diners. Dishes arrived 20 minutes apart between people at the same table. They didn't bring us any portions of the tasting appetizer, and they even treated us as if we'd tried to steal a paltry portion of bruschetta and porchetta. They brought us eight of the nine planned tasting appetizer courses. Otherwise, the food was good, nothing to complain about, but I won't be returning.

04/07/2025: Bel locale ,che ha il suo micro birrificio all’Interno del locale stesso ,dove puoi bere delle buone birre artigianali e mangiare bene.Staff cortese e prezzi nella norma.

28/06/2025: Locale grazioso, situato in una via laterale che conferisce un po’ di intimità e…ombra. Gli interni e il menu sono di tendenza. Purtroppo la cura del particolare stona. Piatti ben fatti ma poco curati, con elementi “indesiderati” non rimossi prima del servizio. Un peccato perché basterebbe un po’ di amore e cura nel servizio per rendere questo posto una piacevole pausa per famiglie e giovani avventori, italiani e non. La cucina è buona ed il prezzo per me non è economico ma giustificato.
