07/06/2025: sono stato in questo posto con altri due amici dove abbiamo cenato. tagliere di saluni veramente buoni, carne (tagliata) ottima con cottura richiesta media precisa,la ragazza che ci a serviti credo sia la responsabile di sala molto gentile e professionale precisa a darci spiegazioni. l'unico inconveniente a mio avviso poco igienico e che la sera a detta della ragazza non usano ne tovaglie ne le tovagliette da posizionare sopra i tavoli in pratica si mangia sul tavolo. Proverei ad usarle anche la sera non solo a pranzo.

11/05/2025: Un tonnarello al tartufo, una parmigiana, acqua naturale, 2 caffè, un tiramisù...€48. La mia geniale natura sta cercando ancora di decifrare il tiramisù proposto: 4 savoiardi non inzuppati e secchi, panna quasi acida e cacao amaro in polvere: dal pranzo, finito di digerire esattamente alle 23.17 dello stesso giorno, dopo lacrime nascoste. 28/07/2025: Veramente ottimo sotto tutti i punti di vista, bello e ben curato, camerieri sempre disponibili ed attenti piatti ben fatti e ben serviti, cucina ottima. Ottimk rapporto qualità-prezzo. Andateci.

27/07/2025: Posto molto accogliente e curato nei minimi dettagli, personale gentilissimo e preparato ma soprattutto cibo ottimo!!! È stata una bellissima serata e ritorneremo con molto piacere. I prezzi sono molto più che onesti.

12/10/2025: Friendly waiter... Very long wait, despite there being very few customers. The bruschetta appetizer wasn't bad. The pasta was almost raw, the wild boar ragù was full of oil, flavorless, and even a bit tough—nothing like wild boar ragù. The sliced ​​pork loin with lard was fine. Umbrians are very good at making porchetta, but if they'd seen that, they wouldn't have even tried it. Don't order the house wine. At the end, the guy at the cashier gives you the bill without even apologizing or offering a discount.

06/08/2025: We went to this place by chance. We ordered ravioli, tagliolini with mushrooms, and for the child, cutlet and fries. The ravioli were 6. 14 euros for six ravioli. They were supposed to have crispy bacon, but instead the bacon was soggy and terribly greasy and salty. The dog ate it. For the second course, we asked for fish. We finished it. Basically, 2 first courses, 1 second course, 1 dessert, water, and 1 glass of wine, 70 euros. Never again.

23/03/2025: Cena con amici, alcuni anche venuti da fuori. Purtroppo, abbiamo fatto una brutta figura. Antipasto composto da: -salumi e formaggio del discount -due mezze fettine di bruschetta: una con un velo di (pessimo) latticino spalmabile, mezza noce e due gocce di miele dozzinale; l'altra con sopra una salsa che avrebbe voluto ricordare un paté -fritti misti freddi, collosi, senza croccantezza né sapore. Primo: inqualificabile versione della gricia, con pasta scotta, nessun equilibrio tra pepe, pecorino e guanciale, nessuna amalgama tra gli ingredienti. Secondo: arrosto misto di maiale. Cotto al forno e pure male. Il caffè? Acqua sporca. Conto salato, per la qualità delle pietanze. Non ci siamo proprio.

15/03/2025: Nonostante lo sconto troppo caro per essere una trattoria, non mi era mai successo che il vino venisse servito a tavola già stappato e il cameriere nemmeno ha chiesto se ci piacesse o meno. Un tagliere con 4 fettine di affettati misti e 3 bruschette di 4cm al costo di 16€, una tagliata semplice 20€. Ma stiamo scherzando? In altri locali della città allo stesso prezzo fai un menù a base di tartufo!

01/08/2025: I went to eat here yesterday with my family. Politeness and kindness, they just don't know what it means. I wanted to order a type of pasta listed on the menu, but it wasn't there, and the same for dessert. Then I ordered panna cotta with berries, and it arrived with a black cherry topping and two strawberries on top, without being told that the berries weren't there, and they did their thing. I asked for the bathroom, politely of course, and the answer was: (If they haven't moved it, it's still there) and finally, the POS didn't work, which was the icing on the cake. The only good thing was the water. The goal of a business is to attract and entice customers, and instead, it was the opposite. NEVER AGAIN, FOR GOODNESS. TERRIBLE SERVICE, THEY TOOK US A LONG TIME TO DO IT. And let's not even get into the jokes they made about what we'd ordered. We're still in a country where everyone is free to choose what they want, and then everyone should be treated equally. And if you have stomach problems, it's not your problem. IF YOU CLOSE, IT'S BETTER!

19/07/2025: Ordered lettuce with mozzarella. It wasn't expensive, but it tasted terrible.

16/08/2025: Rude staff, even more so the owner, very rude. When we asked for clarification on the dishes, he replied, "If it's okay, that's it. Otherwise, you can leave." NEVER talk rudely to customers, but this was downright rude! I advise everyone not to stop here and to move on.

18/07/2025: Super friendly and helpful staff, cafe, breakfasts, and aperitifs. Excellent coffees and spritzes.

01/11/2025: Good platter, good rib-eye steak with mushrooms, and delicious mixed fried fish. It's not bad for a quick lunch. I recommend it. Friendly staff.

08/06/2025: Ieri mattina sono stata con una mia amica a dare colazione alla sede vicino al Pian di Massiano a Perugia. Avevo chiesto un cappuccino senza lattosio e un caffè lungo. Dopo un attesa di circa 20 minuti al banco bar, mi viene passato solo il caffè. Visto che il cappuccino non arrivava e il caffè si raffredava, ho chiesto se era possibile avere anche il cappuccino. Il ragazzo che faceva i caffè ha detto che non è un obbligo andare a fare colazione lì.... Per di più, alcuni giorni prima ero stata sempre per fare colazione lì e, purtroppo per sbaglio, una cameriera ha fatto cadere un vassoio con delle tazzine e piattini di caffè, rompendoli. Purtroppo può capitare e la ragazza ha chiesto scusa però lo stesso ragazzo che fa i caffè ha cominciato a urlarli addosso, davanti a tutti i clienti, che gli avrebbe trattenuto dallo stipendio il costo dei piattini e delle tazzine rotte. I prodotti sono ottimi però il personale, soprattutto il ragazzo che fa i caffè la mattina, è maleducato e sgarbato....

20/05/2025: Frequento Menchetti da alcuni mesi: principalmente per la colazione, ma sono passata anche per l'aperitivo qualche volta. Finalmente ho capito perchè ci sia sempre così tanta gente: i prodotti da forno sono molto buoni; in particolare i cornetti, i maritozzi e la pizza alla pala. Il caffè e il cappuccino sono fatti bene, meno i drink. Prezzi medi: una colazione "classica" viene sui 3 euro. Il vero neo di questo locale è lo staff: spesso poco disponibile e scostante, è un peccato perchè i prodotti meritano tanto. Ampio parcheggio disponibile, ma dato l'enorme afflusso di clienti si fatica a trovare un posto.

I just read someone else's review :) I had the same experience...putting your feet up on the plastic chair (w62;) is forbidden, what a joke in a "beach canteen"...but putting a snack bowl with a used, sticky espresso spoon down is okay...exactly my kind of humor 😆 oh well: you can spend €5 on a beer better elsewhere ;)

17/06/2025: Instead of telling guests they're not welcome, the manager invents reasons like "card playing is prohibited." Likewise, feet aren't allowed on the plastic chairs in her beach bar! They provided her with written proof that card playing is allowed in Piedmont. Then she could only speak Italian and ran away.
