18/09/2025: We chose this property for its historic character and its pool. We used it for about two hours because it was full of mosquitoes, and we and other guests had to flee. The area could be disinfected so guests can enjoy relaxing by the pool, but instead we had to go up to our room and then leave. The lobby cleaning was a bit unnecessary, and we would have liked a check-in to be done with a smile. The room and breakfast room were dimly lit, and there was no large mirror. Excellent Italian breakfast. We checked out with a smile, asking: "Are you not using the pool?"...
Positive notes for the three of us: historic structure, breakfast, proximity to Orvieto.

24/06/2025: Came here by chance while traveling, as it is close to the highway - but I'll come back for a vacation for sure after seeing this unique building and the lovely town it is in. People are friendly and laid back, the room is large and has AC, the hotel is clean. Total hidden gem! Highly recommended!!

10/06/2025: You can't complain about the kebab which is really very good, unfortunately the slightly sore points are the prices which in my opinion are a bit too much above average and the place is intimate but small and it's hot. Anyway I will only go back for takeaway

02/02/2026: Chronologically, starting with the food. It must be said quite clearly that the most capable man in this establishment is the chef. The service would love to recapture the glory of bygone years. Unfortunately, it's just as outdated as the wine glasses. Wine service isn't a priority here. Guests are expected to help themselves if they wish to enjoy their wine. The ambiance is a complete panorama of 1980s elegance – certainly Grand Novel Cuisine back then. Today it looks much the same, a bit dated, but nonetheless possessing an elegant charm. All in all, worth a visit.
05/01/2026: Two of us went for lunch yesterday, and it was admittedly a bit late—it was around 2:20 PM—so I understand we had to order quickly. The waiter who took our order didn't write down what we ordered, and more importantly, he was busy making the other order while he was taking our order. The result was that we ordered an appetizer and two entrees, but they only brought us one appetizer and one entree. We ate in a hurry, and the waiter couldn't wait to clear the table. We paid a lot for what we ate. When you decide to go out for a meal, take out a mortgage first.

Highly recommended.
04/12/2025: I came in with a friend for a simple aperitif, everything was fine until, after ordering a wine and a spritz, I asked if there were any appetizers. The bartender looked at me annoyed, clearly reticent, and then finally handed me a paltry bowl of chips (no olives, no taralli)—it was like I'd asked for gold. I won't be back.

10/04/2026: The restaurant is located a short distance from the Orvieto toll booth and was recommended to us by the hotel where we stayed for the Easter holidays.
The food was good, with just the right amount and presentation, and the prices were in line with what was served.
The pasta and desserts were excellent, but the girls who served us on Easter evening, at the end of the meal, after serving a foreign school group of over 100 students, were wonderful. Well done!

09/04/2026: We stopped for lunch after a long journey from Sicily, and it was a pleasant stop. We only ordered starters since we had to drive countless miles home, but we were pleased with the quality and quantity, and the waitresses were kind and friendly. Another plus is that it's just steps from the highway toll booth!

19/12/2025: Sometimes, passing by, I often bump into a certain Lory, who's always a bit unwelcoming to those who don't frequent the bar. Unfortunately, being in the public area isn't for everyone.

19/11/2025: A historic pizzeria, among the longest-running in Perugia. A welcoming, yet not overly modern, 1990s-style restaurant with friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff. Excellent customer service. Plenty of space in the two rooms on the basement level: be careful if you have mobility issues, as there are stairs to climb. Thin and crispy pizza, well-cooked and well-seasoned. The fried appetizers are well-executed, and the crostini are delicious. Good selection of wine and beer. Plenty of parking outside, even though the area is very busy and there are many cars. Conclusion: the years pass, but Aix remains a reliable place! Well done.

I really compliment them: ... clean place, smiling staff, everything I tried was delicious and plentiful! The prices were also fair! I stumbled upon it by chance because I'm in the area for work... 06/01/2026: A day in Spoleto with the family. We booked at 12:00 PM for 1:30 PM. We arrived at the restaurant at 1:30 PM, and as soon as we entered, the lady was annoyed and irritated, rude to us, and told us they couldn't seat us because she was finished.
The restaurant had empty tables and chairs.
Speechless.
No more compliments, only compliments. Thank you.

02/04/2026: This evening I stopped to buy a 4 seasons pizza to take away and I paid 7 euros when I got home I found a pizza with sausage and olives 🤦 considering that there were 7 people in the whole place including me it can't have been a mistake
15/03/2026: I went there for dinner yesterday with a friend of mine. We walked in and the welcome wasn't the warmest; usually, it's the waiters who ask if we had a reservation, but we were the ones who approached the very young and inexperienced waiters. I felt very cold and rushed in letting us leave; as soon as someone finished, their plate was taken away. We tried the bruschetta, which was good but could be improved. I wouldn't recommend the pizza due to its quality, but perhaps I came on the wrong night. We'll definitely try again in the future with the fish dishes. The atmosphere is very friendly and clean.
