A historic venue in the center of Perugia, recently renovated. Definitely the best aperitifs in the city. Excellent food; the hummus and grilled vegetable skewers are highly recommended.

In one of the liveliest neighborhoods in the historic center, Caffè della Penna never disappoints for aperitifs, quick snacks, lunches, or dinners. A menu that caters to everyone's needs, including an interesting selection for vegans. The back room is a lovely haven for a quiet chat or a small gathering with friends. Highly recommended!

Quality starts at the bottom. When you walk into a place and they already know what you're getting, it's a huge added value. The USUAL is a waste of time. Chips, chicken, and locally sourced cured meats are a PALLET. An ADVENTURE I recommend. Even teetotalers are welcome!

Very nice, recently renovated place. Friendly staff, good selection of beers and cocktails, but I especially appreciated the new food offerings, featuring many original delicacies, all at absolutely fair prices!

If you have just arrived at the bus station and need a coffee and a pastry before anything else, this is your place. Fair local prices, no sense of being charged extra for being a tourist. The staff get by in English. A few Italian phrases will not hurt but you will manage either way.

25/03/2026: A small restaurant where the attention to detail and the dishes immerse us in a refined and simple experience. Raw fish, carefully selected meats, and delicious, carefully crafted and presented pairings are always fresh. The service is always precise and punctual. The wines are carefully selected, from Champagne to Italian sparkling wines, from whites to reds, and not just regional ones.

07/06/2026: A very pleasant evening: a table of six served quickly (perhaps because we had a late reservation). All the sandwiches were good and generously portioned. The fried foods were also good. Nice, varied and tasty menu. Fairly priced. We'll be back :)
20/05/2026: Interesting place with a very extensive menu. Pizza is also available. I personally tried their meat and it was very good, especially the pork pluma, well-cooked and flavorful. Generous portions. Prices are reasonable (about €17 per person). Personally, I think the menu is too extensive and risks being overwhelming. The atmosphere is clean, but the tables are a bit crowded. Reservations are recommended.
