11/03/2025: Con un collega prima di un convegno ci siamo fermati a fare un pranzo veloce da Saltatempo. Io ho preso l antipasto vegetariano e lui la pizza umbra ripiena di verdure e formaggio, e poi ci siamo divisi un carciofo con pecorino e miele. Due calici di vino con 2 tozzetti al sagrantino a testa e 2 caffè: 60€! L'ho trovato leggermente caro.

05/01/2025: Locale piccolino ma accogliente, all'ingresso del quale si viene avvolti dai profumi di una cucina semplice, genuina e squisita. Il personale è attento e molto cortese, pronto a soddisfare tutte le nostre esigenze. Ottima la "porcaccia", specialità della casa, insieme ai salumi, formaggi e vini di una qualità eccellente. Consigliatissimo, ma ricordatevi di prenotare!!!

01/01/2025: Abbiamo pranzato con un tagliere di prodotti tipici, bello il posto, buono il servizio, anche il prezzo, ma i salumi davvero no. Formaggi nulla di che, ma l'affettato davvero asciutto, troppo stagionato e troppo salato. Non ci tornerei.

05/01/2025: Location molto bella al centro della piazza principale di Montefalco. Abbiamo mangiato taglieri con salumi e formaggi e la crescia con cicoria e salsiccia. Bevuto un buon vino. Il mio voto è però condizionato dall'atteggiamento scarsamente cordiale della cameriera.

04/01/2025: Sitting calmly at the table with my dog. Miss bring water for me and my dog. Then we spent more than 20 minutes at the table. If I didn't even try to call the young lady who was serving, she didn't look at me but brought the dishes. After a while I get up and go inside to pay for the water. Virne tells a gentleman to go away... And I went away. I don't recommend you out of rudeness, I can't say anything about the dishes because no one brought me anything, they didn't even ask...

14/03/2025: Beautiful restaurant, impeccable view! We went on the recommendation of an Umbrian friend and we had a good time. Typical menu, semi-gourmet plating, tasty dishes at the right level. The only flaw was that the balsamic glaze decoration completely covered the flavor of the truffle, but I made up for it with the cappellacci, which were fantastic.

10/03/2025: Posto al di sopra della chiesa di San Francesco, offre una visuale da togliere il fiato, gli interni sono molto belli, il servizio e il personale però non sono per niente all'altezza del prezzo del locale. Entriamo con prenotazione, ci assegnano un tavolo in una posizione piuttosto costretta, ci accomodiamo e ordiniamo sul menù proposto. Portano acqua e vino, riempiono i calici con vino (bottiglia € 23,00). Arriva il cameriere con alcune pietanze e, con fare maldestro, fa cadere un calice di vino riversando tutto il contenuto sul giacchetto in lana e manica di camicia di mia moglie. Nulla più di semplici scuse, offerta di tovaglioli per asciugare la camicia e proposta di togliere il giacchetto poggiandolo sulla sedia accanto, per farlo asciugare. Completiamo velocemente la cena; un antipato, tre primi, tre insalate e tre dessert, Chiediamo il conto per andar via prima possibile (costo € 170,00). Usciamo senza un saluto da parte del proproietario e nessuna considerazione per un cena rovinata, nessun rimborso per il calice di vino versato, nessuna parola per il danno subito (landeria € 15,00). Peccato che in una città come Assisi e in un contesto splendido come la Basilica superiore possano verificarsi situazioni così negative a causa di operatori turistici inadeguati e maleducati.

05/03/2025: Such a treasure! Owned by mother and son, Alessandro is always ready with a warm welcome and a kind word. And I’m grateful he is fluent in English. His mother, Maria Grazia, has a gift in the kitchen. Whatever she’s cooking, I’m having. I’ve been going here for a couple of years and have never been disappointed. But this time, Maria Grazia’s lasagna topped them all. Remarkably tender and flavorful, perfectly balanced, every ingredient present without one overshadowing the others. Such skill. If you have a chance to order her frittata, do. It’s the ultimate comfort food. Paired with a Cantina Foresi Orvieto Classico, you can’t go wrong. Plus! The location and ambiance cannot be beaten. Do it.

04/03/2025: THE BEST IN UMBRIA My boyfriend and I were looking for a perfect place to relax and the structure and quality of services exceeded my expectations. SPA AND SPA: very nice structure, welcoming, CLEAN and VERY WELL maintained, small (but it fits). There are two thermal pools (and not three, from what I understand, given that the third 'tub' is connected to the outdoor pool and therefore has normal, freezing water as it is winter). The thermal water was lukewarm, one slightly hotter than the other, but we would have preferred them slightly hotter (both us and the other guests, hearing what they said). More or less useful information: In the changing room there is no toilet that you find in the spa, but a shower equipped with soap (excellent) and lockers with keys. Excellent quality-price here too. ADVICE for the structure: fire or change whoever creates the site. In addition to not doing you justice, it lacks a lot of useful information: for example your SERVICES (unclear and thrown away), THE spa TREATMENTS (named with "treatments", but you don't know what they are, especially if you expect someone to book them for you before arriving at the facility), THE PRICES (you can't even see a shadow of them), as well as good storytelling. Furthermore, when I called and asked about spa treatments I was told that THEY DIDN'T EXIST, and the prices I was told were different. I was sorry there was this communication/information error, but we still had a wonderful and RELAXING day. Very professional, helpful and patient staff. I will definitely come back and ask to speak directly with the spa center so I can book your massages☺️
