21/10/2025: We had a top-notch chickpea and potato soup! The owner was very kind in letting us eat at 3:30 PM, especially since the soup only needed to be reheated (he was very helpful), and we enjoyed some delicious desserts with excellent hot chocolate!

19/08/2025: The waitress got annoyed just because we asked if there was a table for 8 or two for 4. She started arguing and complaining to us, then she left and came back, continuing her argument with us, then she did the same... we left in disbelief; they probably bother the customers!

29/09/2025: Nice restsurant in the centre of Perugia. It has a basic menu. Personnel is very friendly and helpfull. Outside is a terrace on the street. Inside is down in the cellar a big room with lots of tables. Downside is very nicely decorated with different objects and the walls are filled with old black and white pictures. Prices are low, menu basic, so good value for your money.

25/09/2025: We grabbed a quick pizza for dinner—well, one of the best pizzas I've ever had! Truly delicious, with a nice, thin, dry crust and fresh, flavorful buffalo mozzarella. The location is also incredibly unique, literally underground, with a medieval feel. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The service was good, the server did not speak alot of english but everything went smoothly. 16/09/2025: A small, but well-kept and charming place, with a touch of blue that creates a lovely atmosphere. In Piedilugo, I wanted to try lake dishes, and that's exactly what I was looking for! I'm not a fan of freshwater fish, but I found the dishes to be well-crafted, well-presented, and full of character. The wine cellar offers only a few local wines; I'd recommend expanding the selection. The bar offers a nice selection of products and a quality ice cream parlor. There's a small flaw I'd like to point out to the owners so they can improve their establishment: the wine is pressed at the table and left there by the waitress; have it poured, tasted, and then wait for the okay to serve it. Furthermore, the delicious seafood and lake appetizer offers many varieties of fish prepared in various ways, but if the waiter doesn't explain what's on my plate, I don't know what I'm eating, especially since it's not even written on the menu. But as I said, these are small flaws that, if improved, will allow the customer to better enjoy the service and the meal. Regardless, I appreciate it!

16/09/2025: A small lakefront restaurant with an adjoining bar. Informal atmosphere, minimalist decor, and excellent food and service. The speed of food preparation is definitely the quality we appreciate most!

09/10/2025: Great hotel located at the base of old town Todi with plenty of car spaces. I felt there was a language barrier on arrival…we were given just a key to room, we were not given wifi code or any other information. but after then all staff so helpful. I requested tea making facilities in room which was given to us immediately. Breakfast as has been mentioned is super basic, but I highly recommend the scrambled egg on toast - this was absolutely delicious. There were plenty of beautiful cakes and tarts to choose from , yoghurts , granola etc. We paid extra for the larger room, balcony and view and it was worth it. The bed was very comfortable… great hot shower. Everywhere was spotless and if I were to return would definitely book here again. If you are thinking of booking … go direct through the hotel. Prices were cheaper than booking.com. All in all a fabulous stay. Thank you. Ps. Thanks to the lovely lady at reception who found a little safety pin for me… You were brilliant. X

21/09/2025: We stayed at this hotel for one night in a very spacious and well-maintained Deluxe double room. It's truly convenient for those passing through and visiting the beautiful town of Todi. It's located about a kilometer from Piazza del Popolo, making it easy to reach the town's parking lots by car or for those who prefer to walk. It has a convenient underground parking lot from which you can unload your bags and take the elevator directly to your rooms or reception. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast is truly excellent. The cakes and pastries are top-quality. Perhaps a little overpriced, but still recommended.

01/06/2025: Ci siamo fermati per un aperitivo veloce che è diventato un pranzo!!! Le migliori polpette mai mangiate! Cacio e pepe,ragù e piselli ben equilibrate e fritte alla perfezione con panatura fragrante e non unta . Polpette di carne con salsa tonnata, morbide e perfettamente abbinate ai capperi fritti !!! 12/07/2025: Sono andato con un gruppo di amici che aveva scelto questo posto basandosi sui commenti letti online, e in effetti ci siamo trovati benissimo. Lo staff è molto gentile e propone una degustazione di prodotti tipici, accompagnata da un assaggio di vino. Dopo, si può scegliere tra panini e taglieri, tutti preparati con ingredienti di ottima qualità.

05/05/2025: Questo locale potrebbe trarre in inganno: dall'esterno sembra poco più di un bar, con pochi posti disponibili. In realtà offre la possibilità di gustare buoni piatti della tradizione umbra, accompagnati da ottimi vini. Il servizio è molto cortese, il menu non particolarmente ricco ma gustoso. Abbiamo condiviso un abbondante ed appetitoso tagliere "Saltatempo", poi, per secondo, una gustosa "porcaccia con patate" e una tagliata, il tutto accompagnato da un buon Montefalco rosso. Per finire un tiramisù Consigliato per un pranzo non molto impegnativo. Buono il rapporto qualità/prezzo

11/03/2025: Con un collega prima di un convegno ci siamo fermati a fare un pranzo veloce da Saltatempo. Io ho preso l antipasto vegetariano e lui la pizza umbra ripiena di verdure e formaggio, e poi ci siamo divisi un carciofo con pecorino e miele. Due calici di vino con 2 tozzetti al sagrantino a testa e 2 caffè: 60€! L'ho trovato leggermente caro.

Excellent meals with typical home-style cuisine, high-quality ingredients and well-prepared. The Scoglio Rosa hotel restaurant is our go-to place every time we come to Cascia for a visit to the Sanctuary of Santa Rita. Close to the Sanctuary, adjacent parking (free for guests), friendly and pleasant atmosphere, meticulously clean, home-style cuisine, always excellent, using traditional Umbrian products, unique flavors from carefully prepared cuisine, a welcoming bar, comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean throughout, all the staff are extremely kind and grateful, and it's a family-run business that makes you feel like you're staying with relatives or friends. It's the ideal place for a stay in Cascia.

07/09/2025: We went after reading positive reviews and also because the other establishments in the area have never disappointed us, we opted to try this place, one of the few we had never been to. We would have had an unlucky evening, I don't know, anyway, we sit down, they bring us the menu, after 40 minutes they apologize for the wait, I must say that the place wasn't completely full, we order a mixed fried food and 2 pizzas for 2, telling us that they would immediately put the fried food in the kitchen so we could eat, another 30 minutes pass and still nothing, my husband goes to ask in the dining room the reason for the delay, in short, our fried food ended up at a table of people who arrived half an hour after us, after 15 minutes our mixed fried food arrives and immediately after the pizzas which by then had been put to cook, so the fried food was good, the pizza I'm sorry but it seemed like those with the bases already prepared, without a crust and with a hard edge and not at all crumbly, I'm sorry for the moment it's the only place that has disappointed me in that area

17/08/2025: It's a really outdated place. We ate here once last year, and it wasn't busy. The food was fine then. This time, there was some kind of party going on. We were among the first in. We had to wait 10 minutes for a table. Then it turned out they only offered a standard antipasto and pizzas. Well, fine. The antipasto was fine. Then we ordered four pizzas, one with gorgonzola and one with four cheeses. After 15 minutes, it turned out they only had mozzarella. Okay. That's fine too. It didn't resemble what we ordered, but oh well. The most expensive pizza was 8 euros. The pizzas were truly inedible. Hard, greasy, and stale. We also ordered two beers, three soft drinks, and one water. We were charged 80 euros. The receipt showed four menus of the day. By our own calculation, we were overcharged by 20 euros, but because of our poor Italian, their poor English, and the crowd, I didn't bother. I didn't leave a single tip (which I practically never do). I personally really like the 70s look of this place, but we won't be going there again anyway.
