I reiterate that the location is right in the center, just steps from the Basilica of Saint Francis. 06/12/2025: A terrible experience... Only the sliced ​​steak was edible; we were left hungry for the rest! Highly not recommended!

28/03/2026: An experience not to be repeated! The staff is rude. The rooms are dirty, with hair and stains on the pillows and piles of dust above the bed; cleaning under the bed is optional. Not to mention the bedside tables, which only contain more dust and old newspapers left by tourists. The bathrooms are extremely dirty, with a broken, rusty, limescale-filled shower stall that was falling apart (while I was showering, a piece of plexiglass broke off). It takes several maneuvers to close it... The toilet is full of limescale streaks and not sanitized. Furthermore, I had requested a lactose-free menu, and the food I was served contained it. The same goes for the breakfast buffet!! Nothing lactose-free! The only alternative is a cappuccino (bitter) that tastes like water.

23/11/2025: We stayed one night as a group, 4 adults and 3 children in 3 rooms. The rooms were very well heated on a night when it snowed, comfortable, and well-organized. The breakfast was generous and high-quality. The dinner was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The owner even provided us with complimentary wine. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience Umbria to the fullest.

04/02/2026: Unfortunately, they didn't let us eat because, despite having a Smart Box that listed this place among the various optional seating options, and despite having called twice and received a positive response, we were denied access to the Smart Box, saying they didn't know what to expect once we entered the code. It's unprofessional to answer one thing on the phone without verifying it and then say something else once you're at the restaurant. I advise ladies to be less superficial.

21/07/2025: Beautiful village, clean and fresh apartments, and the staff is extremely kind and helpful. There are two lovely pools to relax in, and the restaurant offers excellent and varied dishes. Breakfast is also very varied and plentiful. It was a truly lovely stay, albeit unfortunately short.

I enjoyed handmade tagliatelle served with a meat ragù of extraordinary quality, so delicious that it is truly hard to put into words. I give the highest rating because I strongly believe that places like this deserve to be supported and preserved. I especially appreciated the fact that it is the only place open in Cascia, serving both local residents and the many pilgrims who visit the town. The lady is very nice and welcoming, i guess it is a familt place They have a variety of pizzas pasta and local desserts We ordered the proscuitta and another one with trufffles and we had a small simple salad It is veryyy very delicious and the pizza dough is very unique Very fair price . Recommended when in Cascia And they have a nice outdoor seating on the street

16/04/2026: We stopped for 2 days with the camper to visit Città di Castello, with electricity, on asphalt and they take you by shuttle to the town.

07/03/2026: Disappointing experience. The menu is extremely limited and lacking in originality: I was served only a simple plate of pasta with tomato sauce and a platter of charcuterie. I wouldn't recommend it. The whole thing cost €25. A scam!

10/04/2026: I ordered a small Funiculí pizza, well-cooked and crispy. They delivered an inedible mess. I've never had such awful pizza dough, not even in Buenos Aires. It wasn't fluffy or crispy at all; it was like raw, heavy, horrible bubblegum. Guys, stick to something else, pizza isn't your thing. The girls who served me were very friendly, but I don't eat friendliness...

08/04/2026: Table for 13 on a Tuesday with reservations: We sat down at 8:21 PM and ordered pizzas and drinks at around 35. The pizzas arrived in batches after a wait of about 1:45, with the last one arriving at 10:25 PM. Despite this, the staff was honest, offering us three trays of fries and a tray of potato croquettes to apologize for the wait. As for the quality of the pizza, I'm not sure it's the best. The next day, some of us felt sick, bloated, very thirsty, had poor digestibility, and had stomach aches, and no one ordered any particularly "strange" pizzas. Total cost €234 (€18 per person) for pizzas, a few beers, and five bottles of water (€0.75 each) to share. Nice and welcoming atmosphere.

The pizza is thin and served in a pan, pre-sliced ​​into roughly square pieces. It's a shame that everything was lukewarm or cold; usually, in these cases, customers are asked if they want it reheated when they're served. Worth trying again.

18/03/2026: This might be the cheapest and most delicious place in Orvieto. We found it while wandering the streets after taking photos of the Orvieto Cathedral. We had a slice of Margherita pizza, it was good, it cost 1.5 euros. A small Moretti beer was 2.5 euros. I recommend it for a short break and a snack.
