La Panatella In Allerona

We spent a short week at the Selvella agriturismo in Allerona and made this restaurant our home base. Given the exceptional value for money, it's definitely worth going and returning to without hesitation! Bravo and grazie mille!

Restaurant with a spectacular view from the outdoor terrace In a magical place, away from the town center. A good place to try traditional Umbrian cuisine and excellent ingredients. The menu is not intended for tourists and therefore not suitable for everyone. And if the menu is a bit difficult to put together, there is always the option of pasta and pizza... and they are excellent.

I have to say, the cuisine is excellent! And I'm not kidding! I was blown away by the Acquerello risotto with vanilla and scampi, a true delight! The interior rooms are beautiful, but the terrace offers a view of pure ecstasy, peace reigns, and dining becomes a true delight! The Orvieto, which accompanied us throughout the meal, was excellent. Congratulations!

An elegant and romantic location in the charming village of Allerona, with a beautiful view from the outdoor terrace. Excellent service, beautifully presented dishes, and just the right amount. Perfectly balanced flavors with top-quality ingredients. Definitely worth a try.

We were on a Sunday drive in the country, stopped in Allerona and found this Osteria that was absolutely amazing. We sat on a wonderful terrace and were treated to some of the finest food we have had on this 2 month trip to Umbria. Bravo to the Chef and the waiter, I wish I had recorded their names. We had a great pasta with botega followed by duck, Guinea fowl. Vegetables were great and flavours experimental but interesting such as cauliflower with coffee… it worked! Wine was local and memorable. This is definitely a great restaurant and we will be back.

Went here tonight with my girlfriend (and dog) and had a lovely vegetarian dinner. The host helped us through the Italian menu, and made sure we knew what vegetarian options were available to us. We had a really nice pumpkin pasta with chestnut, and finished with a heavenly desert (definitely recommend the Chocolate, Hazelnut & Pear option). The views are impeccable, the food is amazing, the host is so friendly and very accommodating for our dog; 10/10 would go again if I’m ever near in the future.

I love this restaurant, both for its delicious food and tasty, unique vegetarian options (last time I tried the artichoke in carrozza and gnocchi alla vignarola) and for its location, with its decorative wood paneling on the walls that makes it a warm and intimate place. It's always a pleasure to return.
