30/09/2025: We sit down thinking we could eat something, after 17 minutes (counted) the "girl" arrives and with great refinement that distinguishes a country girl ORDERES us to get up telling us that those tables are booked for later and on the table there was nothing written... CONGRATULATIONS... A WILD BOAR IS MORE REFINED AND POLITE.

28/09/2025: A pleasant evening, you immediately feel like you're part of the family. Abundant dishes, meticulously prepared, local ingredients. The staff were courteous from the moment we arrived. I completely fell in love with the Sagrantino wine, a real highlight during dinner. Without a doubt, "Norcia at the table." We'll definitely be back.

04/10/2025: I'm writing a review of the place: there are five of us, there are seats for us, we ask if we can sit. The hasty waiter, without even giving us a glance, tells us we have to wait at the door and that it will take 40 minutes, without even giving us a chance to sit down. I understand that it's 9:13 PM and the place closes at 10 PM, given that we wanted to have a soup each and managed to finish in time, but politely saying, "Sorry, we're closing, can't we seat you?" Too difficult? It's not even true that the waiter was upset because there were empty seats and another waitress. Very rude and unprofessional, what a shame.

21/09/2025: Renowned trattoria with a unique soup menu. Excellent food and fast, attentive service. The atmosphere is distinctive, with vaulted ceilings and exposed brick and stone.

11/10/2025: We visited Ristorante Fratelli Bottiglieri after a somewhat difficult afternoon reservation, given the high demand for tables in the area. Although we were a group of eight, we were immediately and honestly informed that they couldn't guarantee a single table, but rather two tables for four, which we accepted, separating the adults and children. ​We appreciated the formula that combines a standard menu with a selection of off-menu items, with prices communicated verbally by the waiter (This formula, while typical, I would suggest making it more transparent on paper as well). ​We had various choices: venison, an asado, a hamburger, and a carpaccio—for the adults. For the children, a steak with fries and a hamburger and fries sandwich. The dishes were undoubtedly "different and well-served," a testament to the quality of the ingredients and preparation. ​The waiter who looked after us was very friendly and kind, an aspect that contributed positively to the atmosphere. However, the service was a bit hit and miss: the burger and fries for one of the guys arrived late because the order had been "lost" or forgotten. If it hadn't been for this unexpected wait, I would have given it a higher rating. We paired our meal with a bottle of Perticaia, a good wine. The final bill was extremely reasonable: just €17 per person for eight people, a truly exceptional value considering the variety and quality of the meat served. With a little logistical improvement, this place would deserve top marks. I look forward to seeing you next time.

07/09/2025: The restaurant is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and offers a truly picturesque view of the lake. The menu features both land and sea dishes, and a few lake dishes (honestly, I expected a few more). The lake appetizer was good, but lacking in flavor; the grilled trout was excellent, delicate and flavorful, although I expected the whole trout and not just half (though the quantity was sufficient; let's just say the menu deceived me). The ravioli stuffed with pike and pesto alla trapanese was disappointing (for my taste): the ravioli itself was good, but completely overpowered by the overpowering flavor of the pesto. The dessert was good. The wine list was very interesting; I would have liked more information on the wines by the glass; since I was alone, I couldn't afford to buy a bottle. The service was poor, perhaps due to the restaurant being full; the long wait between courses and a bit of confusion with the dishes. Definitely the thing that most detracted from the meal.

24/05/2025: Renovated farmhouse, immersed in the bucolic atmosphere of the Umbrian countryside. A magical place? Or do Le Fate Ignoranti just want us to believe it (cit.). In any case, Le Fate offers us a cuisine with a strong identity, based on Umbrian tradition but with a personal touch that is there and can be seen. Homemade pasta, use of truffles, quality products. Second courses of meat and fish. Seasonal proposals. Very good desserts. Vegetarian dishes. And a great wine list to complete the work.

11/08/2025: Absolutely amazing! Delicious pizza, local wine and super cute square. Definitely recommend. 5 slices of pizza, bottle of wine and espresso for 20€.

07/10/2025: A restaurant serving traditional cuisine with period decor. Delicious food and huge portions. Superb value for money. We'll definitely return. Wait times are a bit long on weekends as the restaurant is always crowded.

29/09/2025: There's a genuine atmosphere, which sadly no longer exists, and the food is excellent and plentiful. The staff is friendly.

22/10/2025: We were drawn in by the reviews, and they were true. We ate very well (house-made stragozzi and tagliatelle, mixed grill, and desserts, puff pastry rose and tart). The quality and flavors were unique, even though the salt was a bit lacking (the bread didn't even have any salt, but I think it's typical of the area). The service was a shame. We didn't feel particularly taken into consideration. The two first courses arrived at different times. The coffee we'd requested with the desserts arrived about four minutes early. We were told the desserts were on the stove, but in reality, they arrived cold. Well, finally, the prices were in line with the quality of the first and second courses. However, we found the desserts to be excessive at €6 each. A 200ml Coke on tap was €3.50. What a shame.

08/09/2025: If you're in Perugia and want to try some traditional Sicilian dishes, you can't miss "Dal Picciotto." This small, family-run trattoria offers extremely competitive prices, located on a side street in a quaint Perugian village. The owner is Sicilian and incredibly friendly. The food is truly excellent, and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend ending your meal with a Sicilian cannoli—the real deal!

27/07/2025: We had a really good time! The atmosphere was quiet, not too many tables, so it's best to book! We had two appetizers and two main courses, both very good, and the bill was fair! As for the owner, what can I say... he was incredibly kind! There was no way to get back to our car, and after trying to find us a taxi... we couldn't find one, he offered to take us to the parking lot! Thank you so much! We'll definitely be back!

03/10/2025: Went for lunch after visiting the Marmore Falls... about 200 meters from the falls... delicious food... a little pricey but okay considering the proximity to the falls... super friendly staff!!!!

09/10/2025: We came back for a special birthday, always a great, intimate and welcoming atmosphere! The menu is impeccable, not too many courses but an excellent selection, with truly high-quality first and second courses! As always, a confirmation.

09/07/2025: The review refers to the restaurant. The location is beautiful, but the quality/price ratio isn't adequate. An appetizer of three bruschettas costs €10, and three grilled lamb chops cost €20, too. The service is like a farmhouse, but the prices aren't. Overall, I can give it a passing grade, no more.

01/10/2025: To discuss this logo, we need to separate the restaurant from the agriturismo: the agriturismo is a restored old village; as soon as you arrive, a sense of peace and tranquility pervades your soul... the materials used are not far removed from the originals and are not displaced from the originals. There is also a swimming pool surrounded by hedges and olive trees, very quiet and hidden. The rooms are rustic, spacious, with antique furniture. Ours had a windowless bathroom, but that's understandable, and it had a large courtyard with a breathtaking view. The cleanliness could use some updating, with lots of cobwebs, but after all, we are on a agriturismo; they're part of the landscape! Furthermore, the silence that surrounds the property is conducive to sleep. As for the restaurant, the dishes are typical Umbrian, the platters are plentiful and made with top-quality ingredients, the pastas are all homemade and seasoned with top-quality ingredients. We also enjoyed an aperitif with two spritzes and a platter of cold cuts at a very reasonable price. For lunch, we ordered a platter of cold cuts, bruschetta, and fried foods, two first courses: fettuccine with Fassona ragù and strozzapreti with venison ragù, a liter of house red wine, coffee, and amaro. Breakfast includes a buffet of artisanal sweets, cakes, ring cakes, and biscuits; for a savory breakfast, please ask the staff. We stayed at the property using a Smartbox, and I must say we were treated with kid gloves. Overall, a truly wonderful experience, worth repeating even just for lunch in the open air and surrounded by nature.

30/09/2025: Excellent countryside location. Peace and quiet abound. A small village with a small church and rooms and apartments. However, they require maintenance, as they have been left to decay over time. The restaurant is excellent, with good service and excellent dishes, as well as top-quality meat. Good wine tasting available.

06/09/2025: If you're in Gubbio, you absolutely must go. Dinner is served in the Piazza San Martino, and that alone is worth it. Everything is delicious, and the cuisine ranges from tongue and snails to tortellini in parmesan and truffle cream, to beef tartare and carpaccio. I'll definitely be back! Book ahead!

05/10/2025: Unprofessional. I asked why the truffle umbricelli I ordered looked like "finer tagliatelline," as a waitress described them, and the chef rudely replied that umbricelli are made like that and that I was confusing them with strangozzi. It's a shame, though, because I know what umbricelli are, and then you see bags of real umbricelli sold around the city, and they're definitely not the ones I was served. It's a shame, because after all, it wouldn't even be bad to eat.
