24/08/2025: We cycled up from Lana on our bikes without an E. Arriving at Tschigg, we were greeted by an incredibly friendly innkeeper, who was both a chef and a waiter. The meal of Kaiserschmarren (sweet pancakes) and noodle soup was delicious 😋 The view is wonderful. The stop was worth every drop of sweat; we'd gladly return.

05/08/2025: A place where everything just fits! The host was exceptionally friendly and welcomed us with genuine South Tyrolean warmth. The selection of dishes was diverse – from hearty classics to seasonal specialties. My personal highlight: the freshly picked chanterelle mushrooms with tagliatelle pasta – an absolute delight! The taste was incomparable – intense, aromatic, and natural. You can taste the love and skill that goes into the cooking here. Plus, a unique view over the valley – simply stunning. Whether for a stop after a hike or as a destination for a relaxing break: highly recommended!

18/08/2025: Trentino always offers wonderful surprises. Just a couple of kilometers from Fiera di Primiero, I recommend a tasty and fun stop. A sensory journey for the senses, both smell and taste. In Mezzano, there's an artist who delights in inspiring emotions with his unique and rare cured meats. He makes them himself, rediscovering ancient traditions and giving voice to the aromas and flavors of the region. Macelleria Bonat is worth more than a visit, as long as you're not in a hurry. Luigi Valline isn't looking for tourists, but for travelers who still have a taste for discovery. Before you taste his delicacies, made with quality ingredients and ancient techniques that don't involve the use of chemicals, you'll have to listen to the "spiegone," as Luigi, a speaker, photographer, musician, and much more, calls it. The "explogone" helps you understand how the lonzetta with wild mint and stevia is made, as well as the guanciale with wild oregano or the speck with BioNoc' beer (another Mezzano excellence, gold and bronze medalist at the 2024 World Beer Championships in Barcelona). A separate chapter is deserved by the mortandela, the ancestor of mortadella, brought back to life and combined with the chef's expertise. We met Luigi and his wife Simonetta thanks to Valerio's guide, but if you want to spend 40 minutes tasting and full of curiosity, it's definitely worth it. In Palermo dialect, we would have summed it up as "U miegghiu" (literally, "I'll migghiu").

08/08/2025: A place where you can truly find a blend of research and tradition. The good Luigi is the story of a lifetime spent trying to explain his discoveries. I assure you, his "baptism" offers a blend of flavors and emotions. A must-try.

07/08/2025: We went there by chance between two hikes and it was the best idea we could have had: everything was perfect including the service!

24/08/2025: During our vacation, grandparents, children, and grandchildren we had lunch and dinner several times in Val di Fleres. They were very welcoming. We had a 3-year-old son, a one-month-old daughter, and my husband was in a cast, so it was difficult to get around. They always gave us a place that was comfortable for us. The menu was excellent, from appetizers to desserts, the latter truly sublime! I highly recommend it ♥️

23/08/2025: We spontaneously reserved a table and enjoyed a wonderful dinner. The food was very good, and in addition to the extensive menu, there were numerous daily specials. The pizza was amazing! Many thanks to the very attentive staff!

27/08/2025: Il termine Osteria forse ci sta un po' stretto.. quello di cui vi sto per parlare è una vera delizia del palato!! Arrivare a Le Servite significa immergersi in un altro ambiente, rurale e accogliente, ricreato prima di tutto dal verde dei vigneti che circondano il grande casolare. Ci si arriva in auto, dato che si trova nella zona industriale di Riva (forse l'unica pecca del posto.. ma una volta entrati non si nota per nulla).Data la splendida serata, abbiamo cenato nel giardino all'aperto (il locale comunque è molto bello anche all'interno, vedere per credere). E qui comincia la parte migliore.. il cibo!Abbiamo iniziato con una gran varietà di antipasti, tra cui un'apprezzatissimo salmerino (pesce di fiume) salmistrato e uno marinato, soufflè di finferli, carne salada e verdure. Come piatto principale, dato che eravamo già sazi, ci siamo limitati a un buonissimo salmerino (sì, di nuovo lui, specialità del posto) alla brace. Dulcis in fundo, tris di dessert tra cui un buonissimo tortino.

16/08/2025: One of the best experiences in the last few months. Excellent food, excellent potato tortel. Outside with a lawn and playground. Worth a visit even if it's a bit out of the way.

09/08/2025: Wonderful! Vegan-only and refined dishes. It's definitely not among the cheapest, but it's worth every penny. The location is also amazing; the interior is beautiful. I'll post a couple of photos. We've been there twice during the holidays in different years, and both times we were very satisfied. GO Vegan ❤️

09/08/2025: Opening the door felt like entering a cave. The first thing I noticed was a musty smell (there are no windows and the room is dark, but it's lit artificially with candles). The food had very high points (their carbonara and cheesecake) and others were just okay. For the final price, I would have liked to have been more pampered. It's nice that there's a vegetarian restaurant even in places where meat reigns supreme.

29/08/2025: We went there for dinner. Friendly service. They even had live music that evening. The food was delicious and well-prepared. The prices for food and drinks were average. Meals were around €20, and drinks were moderate. For two people, food and drinks came to around €80 for a stay of about 2.5 hours... We didn't just have one drink 🥂😉

26/08/2025: Very nice place with good service and nearby parking. The portions and food were excellent! We'll definitely be back 👍🏻 We ate outside but the inside has a lovely atmosphere.

10/08/2025: 6-star hotel with 3-star service The Hotel LeFay in Pinzolo was recommended to us by our daughter, who described it as a "paradise in the Dolomites," a place where she could forget all the worldly worries (which the world has showered upon us in abundance in recent years) and dedicate herself to meditation and eternity. Our daughter is never wrong, so we decided to stay at the LeFay for a week to escape the unbearable heat of Roman August. Our first impression, when we were shown our room, could be described as something between ecstasy and amazement: an unusually beautiful designer room, tastefully furnished and designed down to the smallest detail, combining breathtaking views of the Alpine peaks from the windows with traditional Northern Italian motifs in the decorations, giving the room a welcoming atmosphere and an inexhaustible desire to never leave. It must be said that this welcoming atmosphere, refined taste, and understated creativity characterize the design of the entire hotel, from the reception to the spa and gym. I think I'm right in saying that this was the most artistically designed hotel we've ever stayed in. Kudos and admiration to the architects, designers, and builders of this hotel: it has become a dominant feature of all of Pinzolo. But, trying to be honest in my assessments, I can't help but mention the flaws. While the hotel is commendable in terms of architecture, design, and attention to detail, it is truly mediocre in its level of service. It seems that during the high season (we were there in early August), the hotel management hastily hired non-professionals to "fill the gaps" in customer service. In order: 1. Dear hotel management, please make navigation between the hotel buildings more or less clear. Not to mention that the floor numbers in one building don't match those in another (you have to take an elevator to floor 3 only to, to your surprise, find yourself on floor 0 in another elevator), there are no signs indicating how to get to reception. As a result, on our first day, we got lost among the buildings and had to ask a hotel employee we'd met for directions. When we finally figured out how to get to the right floor, we saw two other guests calling on the phone, trying to figure out where they were, so they could get directions to reception. 2. Dear hotel management, please send your most disheartened employees to courses where they can explain that nothing is as cheap and doesn't cost as much as a smile to a guest. The expression on some waiters' faces when they bring you coffee is something more than "these annoying guests still want something from us" that I can't describe. 3. For the first time in my life, probably in a 5-star hotel, every time I needed to ask for something at the front desk, I had to stand in line with 2-3 people and wait 10-15 minutes. It seems to me that a hotel that charges up to €1,000 a night for a room should be able to hire 2-3 more employees to solve this problem. 3. Speaking of coffee. I understand that coffee isn't as obsessive in northern Italy as it is in central or southern Italy, but upgrading the coffee machine and purchasing regular beans isn't a huge expense compared to the disappointment low-quality coffee brings to your guests. Believe me, a hotel of your caliber deserves better coffee than the one you currently serve. Overall, I hope the management manages to raise the bar on service to match the design and furnishings, and then, without a doubt, the Lefay will become the best hotel in Trentino, and perhaps in all of Italy. Thank you for an unforgettable holiday!

02/08/2025: We stayed at Lefay for one night as we were making our way into South Tyrol to see some of the epic Dolomites. The views are of surrounding mountains and a valley overlooking a town. Pretty. The architecture and vibe of the resort is very nice and impressive. Staff were wonderful, Julia the concierge was friendly and helped us get acquainted with the resort. Great restaurant and food! We enjoyed our stay but were looking forward to moving on to getting into the higher peaks and more quintessential Dolomites.

25/08/2025: A truly outstanding hotel: Beautiful design and spotlessly clean. Exceptionally friendly staff! The free bicycles provide additional leisure fun, and Bressanone is easily accessible. Every evening, an excellent multi-course menu awaits you, with the option to swap dishes. The cuisine is simply sensational. The breakfast deserves 5 stars. We would gladly return.

08/07/2025: A lovely pizzeria restaurant with a stunning view of Santa Maddalena in Casies. Friendly and helpful staff; the table was sparsely set, with no tablecloths and only a few napkins. Excellent pizza, and the dumplings and pork shank were delicious. Reservations required.

13/08/2025: A little gem in the heart of Tiarno. The owner is incredibly kind and extremely attentive to their customers. The products are sublime; we ordered taralli, small loaves, focaccia barese, focaccia genovese, and a light and crispy loaf. The prices were very fair. It was a wonderful discovery! Congratulations! Residents of Tiarno...you are truly lucky! 😍

18/08/2025: After my second visit, I unfortunately have to adjust my rating. This time, there was no bread with the salad, the mineral water wasn't cold, and the tortellini with ham and cream sauce had a very bland flavor (the sauce was very thin - just pure cream) and I wouldn't recommend it. First visit: Delicious pasta and salad. Fast service. One star deducted because other guests asked for a grappa or espresso on the house – unfortunately, we didn't.
