12/05/2025: I ate the best Cecina ever!!! The pizza was good, both gluten-free and normal, they were very nice and hospitable... I will definitely come back to eat the Cecina 🤗

29/04/2025: On 04/27/2025, together with my family and that of a friend of mine, we had lunch in your restaurant. I and the other 3 people in the group, being celiac, chose your place because you can be reassured about the correctness of the preparation of your food. Unfortunately it didn't go that way... Both myself and the other 3 people felt very ill after about an hour of eating the pizza. I could ignore the poor service, but feeling bad about everything that comes with it pushed me to write a negative review. You ruined the rest of our holiday, for us celiacs a simple contamination can become a disaster. I recommend choosing another pizzeria if you are celiac, I will definitely never come again.

08/06/2025: I took the tasting menu for €35 Nothing to say, excellent appetizers, two first courses that were perfect, delicious fried food and dessert that was also good You leave full and happy Perfect atmosphere I will definitely return and I highly recommend going there!!!

30/05/2025: Food was very delicios. They forgot my Coffee theee times but always found a way to let it appear funny. Sitting next to a main street was ok for us but not the best setting.

23/05/2025: First time in this place. Nice atmosphere, welcoming staff and attentive to customer satisfaction (we were asked several times if everything was okay). Fast service, even though it was Saturday night. Very good pizza, light, well cooked, with fresh and quality ingredients. The dessert in my opinion was not up to the level of the pizza. We will definitely be back.

10/05/2025: Reduced admission due to affiliation with Hotel Residence Esplanade. Well run and management and staff excellent. Toilets and changing rooms spotlessly clean. Plenty of space on beach and not too busy in May. Nice cafe on site but with 5 euro cover charge if you eat on veranda. You can take drinks purchased down to your spot on the beach.

03/05/2025: Staff partly rude and hasty, menu to be reviewed. Seafood risotto very low rating, too bad.

20/05/2025: We waited a bit too long for the pizzas but they are really good and well filled. The menu is vast and the place is welcoming, if the occasion arises I will gladly return

01/06/2025: Great pub, it feels like taking a dive into the past, those who lived their childhood between the 80s and 90s, here find the old emotions. Fantastic food, the owner prepares the bread, grinds the various hinges to prepare his Hamburger and the beers and spirits are truly excellent. Really recommended! Ps. Great location for bikers!

16/05/2025: We had a wonderful lunch on the upstairs balcony. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. The first-class service (thanks Ilir and my colleague) deserves special praise. We felt very comfortable on our 10th wedding anniversary! Grazie, thank you, and Faleminderit! 😉

06/06/2025: Seafood restaurant at the end of the Viareggio promenade, on the port to be clear. They have two seats, one on the veranda and one on the port (very romantic and suggestive) but I recommend booking. Very kind staff, they even gave me a discount at the end! A half appetizer, two fish first courses, 1 still water, half a liter of white wine, a sorbet and two seats €60 (€30 per person). The cacciucco and pasta with clams are delicious. I recommend this place but I recommend booking, Thursdays in June are packed! Imagine in August!

12/01/2025: Truly a great discovery! Truly original and typical restaurant environment, but showing details of a starred restaurant. Impeccable and professional service! Food, what can I say? The reviews say it already, but the quality of the fresh fish is sublime! Excellent wine list! The price is in line with what is offered! We will definitely be back!

26/05/2025: Last Saturday evening I wanted to try the renowned Ristorante da Giorgio, which I have never tried before despite having lived in Viareggio for a few years. That evening, despite having booked, I was not feeling well and did not have much of an appetite. My partner and I decided not to order wine to drink (which we practically always do because we are both teetotalers). Both at the table, the waitress and at the cash register, the owner, made us feel bad about the fact that we had not ordered anything to drink other than simple still water (0.65 cl) for a whopping €8, as can be seen from the receipt. Despite the dinner being very light, with just one appetizer, two first courses, a dessert and a piece of fruit, we spent a whopping €50.50 each (yes, because discounting that euro on the receipt and making the calculation even would have turned the evening's takings into the red, who knows). Cover charge €10 for dry bread from at least the day before and a narrow table where if I moved slightly with my chair I would hit the chair at the table behind me.. In short, I don't want to honestly say that the fish wasn't fresh and/or of good quality at all but the prices are absolutely disproportionate and not justified. The icing on the cake is that an acquaintance who went to dinner this evening at the same restaurant for an appetizer, first course, second course, dessert and even a passito paid €50... so the question is this: does the owner set prices based on the mood, the day or the friendliness of the diner? If it was a way to make us understand not to return, we will certainly accept the invitation!
