01/11/2025: Last night we finally sampled the atmosphere of this lovely osteria. Caterina is truly a fairy, and with her "magic wand," she prepares dishes so authentic they'll enchant you. Four delicious appetizers, a fantastic first course (lasagna, pici, and freshly made ravioli), and traditional second courses. For me, a vegetarian, she prepared leek omelettes and beans all'uccelletto. The desserts are delicious for those who prefer moka pot coffee. All slow food, just the way we like it. We'll be back soon. Thank you!

31/01/2026: A lunch to remember, both for the ambiance and the food.
Tortelli with ragù, gnocchi with pecorino cheese and truffle, pappardelle with wild boar.
Traditional cuisine, prepared with love.
We will definitely return to celebrate our family reunions.
Excellent service and excellent cuisine, no exceptions.

11/02/2026: Oh well!! Possibly the best pizza I've ever eaten. Really. BUT... the first time I went there with a friend and my partner, everything was perfect, it was a weekday, I don't remember which day exactly, there were not many people, then it started to fill up. The problem was when my partner and I returned alone. It was a Saturday, and it took about 40 minutes to get there from where we were... we booked on the way there for 9:00 PM. We arrived, they greeted us and escorted us to the table, which was practically in the middle (the room they set us in is very small; I think they have another one). The problem was that there was a birthday party, and we found ourselves literally stuck to this table. It was terrible chaos. We couldn't hear each other, the whole room was full, and it took forever to get up and move for fear of accidentally touching someone. The icing on the cake was when a man had a little girl in his arms, and the little girl's legs were practically in my partner's face, on top of other bumps from adults and children. I think it's fine to want to work, but not if you end up losing customers. I would have preferred them to tell me they had no more port instead of driving almost two hours to get there. Obviously, we got up and left without even ordering. I think that's disrespectful.

14/01/2026: A very positive experience, my wife and I had lunch at my friend Zaid's, spaghetti alla carbonara, penne all'arrabbiata, as only he and I know how to make, 1 slice of beef with potatoes, water, wine, coffee, 2 Margherita pizzas, takeaway, €60. I forgot, between the three essences of delicious cabbage, we'll see each other soon.
09/11/2025: Simple Tuscan food but of high quality, kindness and also excellent value for money..... discovered by chance but we will definitely be back

01/01/2026: In one of Tuscany's most beautiful squares, a quaint restaurant with excellent dishes and generous portions, served with warmth and punctuality. Tables are available both inside and on the square in front of the Cathedral.
Pizza is also available for lunch, but we didn't try it.
They also have another restaurant a short distance away, "Cantina dei Tre Archi," which offers the same quality.
24/12/2025: From Livorno with a passion... Christmas Eve lunch with my family and my brother's teacher, who attends the Don Luigi community in Massa Marittima.
A very welcoming place, beautifully decorated for the holidays, in the central square in front of the church.
Exceptional cuisine and huge portions.
Excellent waiter service, we spent €150 for seven of us... less than €20 each with appetizers, a first course, water, wine, and coffee.
We'll definitely be back!!!!

23/12/2025: Here, "almost everything" is still made by hand. Run by genuine older locals, you're also served by them. Very friendly and authentic.
06/12/2025: I stopped by Osteria Il Cinquino for lunch, and I have to say the place has a quiet, simple atmosphere. You can only eat outside, which is nice on nice days, though its location, practically on the roundabout, can be a bit noisy: when a heavy vehicle passes by, the noise interrupts the tranquility a bit. Nothing dramatic, but it's good to know.
The food is the best part of lunch: excellent dishes, clearly homemade, with authentic flavors you can't find everywhere. And above all, the prices are incredibly low compared to what they offer.
Honestly, quality like this at that price is hard to find.
During lunch, I also had the company of several cats roaming freely in the outdoor area. They're discreet, don't get too close, but they make the atmosphere even more welcoming.
In short: a simple, good, affordable lunch in a place with character.
Traffic aside, I think it gets a thumbs up.

31/08/2025: I can't find a reason not to give 5 stars to everything. Great food, fantastic welcome from the owners and quiet environment with the right amount of privacy for each table. Excellent value for money. I hope to return soon!
28/08/2025: Family dinner to celebrate our son's birthday in an intimate setting. A generous menu, perfectly balanced flavors, and finishing the full three-course meal (appetizer, two first courses that were supposed to be half portions but were actually full portions, tailored for a miner coming off a diet feeling rather pissed off, second course, and side dish) was a challenge!
Of course, if you're expecting experiential cuisine, you're wrong. You come here to enjoy good company, pampering yourself with dishes from the past.
And, let's be clear, it's experiential cuisine: the mixed roast beef with potatoes tasted exactly like the kiss your grandmother would secretly give you when your parents grounded you.
To the legendary couple of managers, innkeepers and cooks, I can only say: don't give a damn about average tastes, and be more daring with some things. I think you'll do great.
I'll definitely be back in the company of shady individuals I usually call friends.
Threat or promise, I'll leave it up to you to decide!

22/09/2025: We have spent recently a magical evening at Bracali. The restaurant is located in the middle of nowhere and it’s exterior is unassuming which makes the whole experience even more special. After picturesque drive trough
Maremma hills we entered small
6 table elegant restaurant and were greeted by Luca, one of two brothers running the restaurant since 1983. Francesco who’s the chef gave us a node trough the big glass window allowing to
admire the art of cooking during the dinner.
Luca has been extremely kind, delicate and knowledgeable about wines and cousine. We have followed his advise and ordered 6 courses menu that included 2 desserts. From the beginning to the end the food was spectacular, innovative and elaborated. We had the best pigeon in our life and we had tasted a lot of them! The recommended wine was wonderful: very special and rare bottle coming from the local producer who makes just 1000 bottles per year. The atmosphere of the restaurant was matching its location: it was quite out of this world yet very warm and welcoming. One can feel that this place is not a business but life long journey of passion and hard work.
28/08/2025: A very good experience at this 1-star restaurant. The staff were welcoming, even with our two young children, and the food was both typical and original, and of course, of very high quality.

Cibo ottimo (abbiamo preso 7 piatti e tutto era buonissimo, il crudo spettacolare), porzioni belle abbondanti, tutto curato, servizio compreso. Le ragazze che ci hanno servito sono state molto celeri e gentili senza esagerare. davvero complimenti perché nonostante molto giovani hanno gestito il servizio molto bene.
Abbiamo speso il giusto, nulla da ridire neanche sul conto.
Spero di riuscire a tornare nei prossimi giorni.

29/07/2025: Pendant nos différents séjour il nous est arrivé de manger quelque fois dans ce restaurant. Cela s'est toujours bien passé.
Cette fois nous voulions faire découvrir l'endroit à des amis de passage.
Mais quelle déception pour tous !
Seul plat excellent : pâtes carbonara que nous avions pris pour les enfants. Ils se sont régalés.
In fine : une addition salée pour des plats sans grande saveur.
A noter quand même : Service impeccable.
A vous de tester et de vous faire votre propre opinion.
Il se peut que vous ne soyez pas déçu. Ce n'était probablement pas notre soirée.
