10/11/2024: Siamo stati a pranzo in questo graziosissimo bistrot, ci hanno riservato uno dei tavoli fuori con vista parziale (causa alberi) sulla val di chiana, location bellissima, per non parlare della gentilezza del proprietario ma sopratutto della qualità del cibo. Ps sono stati gentilissimi anche con la nostra cagnolina

13/08/2024: In Cortona, finding a place to have dinner on a Friday in August without having booked and also looking for a place not for hit-and-run tourists is not exactly easy. We then asked a local guy who suggested this restaurant to us. A beautiful surprise. A little out of the way, frequented by locals (a very important element for me), young and wonderful staff, really excellent food. We ate panzanella and guinea fowl stuffed with olives. There isn't much space outside (however the restaurant overlooks a narrow street in the historic centre), inside there is air conditioning and a very hospitable environment.

08/08/2024: Everything was exaggeratedly good and the waiters were very sweet and attentive! Unfortunately only a little hot inside, but otherwise an experience to be absolutely repeated!

15/09/2024: Ieri sera sono stata a cena con il mio compagno e dopo aver prenotato alle 21:30 ci hanno fatto accomodare dopo più di 30 minuti con persone che nn avevano prenotato...va bene é sabato sera ci può stare. Premetto il locale nn era colmo. Ci è stata presa finalmente l ordinazione e dopo dopo Mi mostra il pezzo di carne (SIMMENTAL BAVARRSE AUSTRIA) che avevo scelto, chiaramente ancora nn pulita con pezzetti d osso sbriciolato proprio nella parte commestibile e il grasso molto molto secco. Non faceva già tanta gola. Dopo altri 30 minuti finalmente abbiamo cominciato la cena. La carne era praticamente bruciata sotto, lessa ai lati e fredda all interno, e nn aveva x niente un gradevole odore, i pezzettini d osso spappolato nelle fibre e grasso immangiabile. Grazie a quei pezzetti di osso intrisi e affondati nella carne per la terribile cottura ho scheggiato due denti. Lunedì dentista La carne é rimasta nel piatto, nessuno che sia venuto a chiedere come andava o altro. Al pagamento ho riferito e mi sento dire perché nn sono andata a lamentarmi prima e che una cosa del genere nn era mai successa ma viste le recensioni ho notato molto lamentele. Io pago un servizio e dovestre essere voi in primis a preoccuparvi del cliente. Apprezzabile solo lo sconto fatto alla cassa dopo la mia lamentela La qualità della carne é totalmente un altra e la ristorazione un altra ancora. Grazie per i denti scheggiati e appena tornata ho vomitato con tremendi crampi allo stomaco. Complimenti

10/11/2024: An extraordinary place! The young chef and his team create a world-class restaurant! Kudos to them! I will watch with interest how the team develops 😊 I recommend it for a romantic dinner in the style of a Michelin-starred restaurant.

20/10/2024: Organika is a stellar restaurant. We've been there 4 times over the last year and each time it has been an incredible culinary experience. Ricardo, the chef in his mid-twenties, creates dishes mixing flavors that are both surprising and amazing. His signature dish is pasta with shaved deer that is heavenly. You can't go wrong with the 10 course (probably a better option for lunch) or 5 course menu. They are flexible and gladly adapt to dietary restrictions (we've taken many friends there). The service is excellent, courteous and friendly. A gem in Cortona.

15/08/2024: La location, prossima a Cortona è ideale per una visita alla città. La struttura e il personale sono molto accoglienti. Ma vorrei porre l'attenzione sulla camera in cui abbiamo pernottato: oltre ad essere spaziosa e ben arredata aveva tutti i comfort per rendere la sosta ancora più piacevole, aria condizionata (non scontata in ogni B&B) ampio bagno corredato. Anche la colazione è stata una vera sorpresa, ampia scelta di prodotti dal dolce al salato, buonissimi e freschissimi. Consigliatissimo!

30/07/2024: Only used the restaurant. Nice place that takes you back in time due to its atmosphere and tastes. Not exactly an advantageous position for those stopping in Cortona. Good organization and service of the place. Medium-high prices but adequate for the quality.

27/11/2024: Amazing restaurant. Fabulous service and food. Their home made limoncello was excellent, and they also sell this at their store next door. The lady was so nice to bring us there. This experience was such a beautiful pre-Christmas festive one

25/11/2024: We had such a lovely experience at Preludio. The service was incredibly attentive. The food was delicious and just kept coming out with course after course of delicious and beautiful things. We returned back a second time for another dinner on another night because the whole experience was so lovely.

17/10/2024: We spent a lovely night at the wonderful vegan restaurant. The staff was very friendly, the place was charming and the food delicious. The drinks were masterfully made!

14/10/2024: Wonderful vegan meals in a comfortable environment with very personable service. From the cocktails to the desserts, everything was delicious, with several unusual dishes.

13/09/2024: Your visit to Cortona is not complete until you visit Sartù. The food, the hospitality, it is all you could wish for when visiting Italy. 10/10!

16/08/2024: In an alley among many, under a delightful blue sky vault, there is a fantastic restaurant. You will be pampered by the attentive and friendly staff, and delighted by the flavors and quality of the food. The Chef creates dishes by excellently intertwining ancient flavors and local products, but giving freshness and originality to each course. All very good, no flaws. Highly recommended.

25/05/2024: Tranquil resort with an exceptional chef and sumptuous breakfasts. Why haven’t I reviewed before? Because it’s one of those places you want to selfishly keep close to your heart. This is our 5th visit and now it feels like coming home. The entire staff, along with the family owners, make you feel as if you belong here. You’re so close to everything yet a million miles away.

11/12/2024: EXTRABAR CAFÉ Family atmosphere, excellent coffee! Very well maintained and tidy place, warm and welcoming, internally and externally, on the adjacent square. There are tables and chairs for outdoor dining. Competent and friendly staff; Laura is a sunny and smiling girl ☀️ RECOMMENDED ☕️🥐✌🏻

29/07/2024: Absolutely wonderful service! We got a takeaway pizza just as they were closing and they were more than happy to refire the ovens to accommodate us so late in the evening. This is a great roadside eatery and the staff are simply wonderful. Try the Nutella calzone!

27/07/2024: Al jaren komen wij in de regio Cortona en al jaren strijken we minstens een keer op het terrasje voor ‘de l’oasi’, zoals we deze pizzeria noemen, neer. Daar genieten we NIET van het uitzicht, maar wél van alles wat er om ons heen gebeurt op het parkeerplaatsje, bij de bar ernaast en op het terras van de pizzeria. En voorál van de heerlijke pizza’s die we daar eten. Neem een voorgerecht om met z’n tweetjes te delen en kies daarna (om het even welke, maar ik kies de Irlandese) pizza. Een karaf wijn erbij en een cafè erna en je hebt weer een prachtige avond gehad!
