06/10/2025: This restaurant is nestled in one of the most photographed alleys in Cortona and represents everything you think about Italy, character, beauty, and uniqueness. The food and drinks are all prepared to the highest quality and originality. Vegetarian entrees elevated on both flavor profile and plating. The creativity of each entree are truly noteworthy. There were six in our party which allowed for each of us to try a different option and share with each other. My favorite is the tartare, both visually and taste profile, it's fireworks on a plate, it just makes you happy looking at it and eating it continues that happiness. I highly recommend this restaurant for your consideration.

21/09/2025: On the recommendation of friends, we went to this osteria. The dish we had to try was the Chianti risotto. Our expectations were very high, and we can say they were fully met. It's an unexpected dish (in the realm of pici and lasagna), and we'd definitely recommend it. Be warned, cinnamon is one of the ingredients. We'll be back on our next visit to Cortona.

28/09/2025: The Neapolitan pizza was very good and easy to digest. They were willing to make some adjustments to my wife's pizza, as she has an intolerance. The frittatina was also good, although I think it needed just a minute more cooking since it was a bit cold in the center, but this didn't affect the quality of the product. The service was very friendly and fast despite the restaurant being busy. The wine selection was also good (with a recommended pairing directly on the menu) and beer selection. The space was a bit cramped and noisy, but that's normal for a pizzeria, so it's fine. I recommend it to anyone in the Cortona/Camucia area who wants a good pizza at a reasonable price.

28/09/2025: All in all, their pizza is worth trying... we had a few service hiccups with long waits, but the owner immediately apologized and offered a discount on our next dinner! It seemed like a great compromise for the inconvenience, considering that unexpected things can happen!

14/10/2025: It was so special. Stefano and his staff could not have been more welcoming. The room was very comfortable. The shower was outstanding. The inn itself was old world feeling with the comfort of a newer hotel.

08/10/2025: We visited the restaurant several times during our week-long vacation. We would have visited more often, but the restaurant was fully booked, and no wonder. The food was really good, the place had an atmosphere, but the best thing was the incredibly warm service. The staff is absolutely top-notch and the restaurateur himself is a sight to behold: such a cheerful and caring atmosphere maintainer that nothing could be better. Thank you very much! 18/08/2025: Beautiful villa nestled in the countryside just minutes from Cortona. Peace and relaxation reign supreme here! The staff were extremely kind and attentive. We were also kindly upgraded to a junior suite, which was very elegant and spacious!

28/09/2025: This is a gem of a find and has become our "local" when we are in Cortona. A truly Italian experience. Not touristy but tourists are welcomed. The bruschetta is outstanding as are some of the other very local dishes. Seriously try the potatoes and tomatoes. A very tasty surprise. Don't miss this spot!

01/10/2025: I have eaten here several times at lunch for pasta, this was a first dinner and for meat. After reading the menu, none of us could decide, so we asked the staff for recommendation. The choices were amazing, she brought both types out for us to review and approve. We selected a 30 day and 60 day and chiana, each was delivered and we had time to enjoy it before the second came out. Excellent wine recommendation and side dishes really complemented the meat. Highly recommend this restaurant.

15/10/2025: Our son and daughter in love hosted their wedding there on October 4, 2025. Absolutely stellar service. He rented out the whole venue for 4 days and the food, atmosphere, the staff was incredible. Very attentive, always willing to help and the Owner, David, was right there as well. The welcome dinner, the cocktail hour, the reception, the brunch the day after....spectacular. Everything was incredible! Thank you all.

12/10/2025: The location and setting are remarkable and very welcoming. The first impression was very nice, but after checking in, the speed and superficiality with which they handed over and explained the suite to us was an immediate warning. The rooms were very beautiful, welcoming, and stylish, but we immediately noticed a lack of cleanliness. The service in the restaurant left much to be desired; the staff couldn't speak Italian, and no dinner dish was explained or described to us, unlike our 5⭐️ competitors. The water was in a carafe, not labeled, and breakfast was unsuitable for this group, considering I'm lactose intolerant. A decent experience, but far from the asking price.

24/09/2025: Wow—what a hidden gem! Sartu absolutely blew us away. The steak was simply delicious (paired perfectly with an order of carrots), but what really took things over the top was the deconstructed cannoli—hands down one of the most unique and memorable desserts I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is incredibly intimate, with only 18 seats total. We felt so welcomed, and even the chef came out personally to say hello, which made the experience extra special. It truly feels like dining in a private kitchen rather than a restaurant. If you’re lucky enough to snag a reservation, you’re in for a treat. Highly recommend—this is a place you’ll never forget.

Liliana moved from Naples to Cortona and brought with her the Neapolitan hospitality and culinary expertise. Plus, top-quality ingredients. I've been coming here for years and will always return. My son and I will never stop coming back.

09/10/2025: Very good food, at a very good price. We stayed in Cortona for a week and visited this restaurant on our second day. It was so good and such good value that we came back on our last night. I can particularly reccomend the parpadelle with wild boar sauce, and if you are hungry their Calzone may be the biggest pizza I have ever seen!

29/09/2025: Just got back from one of the best lunch experiences so far in our trip to Italy. The food was really outstanding. The prices were very low for this part of the world and a really good value. The pizza was one of the best we’ve ever tasted, also the pasta was something I’ve never experienced before. Pici with Ragu. The real thing that made it special was that the staff were so authentic,kind,warm,and welcoming.
