14/06/2025: Very beautiful villa (historically). The exterior is a bit poorly maintained (gardens and park). It undoubtedly has its charm being in the Florentine countryside close to Florence.

05/08/2025: We were at Restaurante Ginori in Florence, and honestly, I don't understand why it's so low. We had a very positive experience. I ordered a generous, fresh, and tasty salad. We also tried the lasagna and a chicken and potato dish—all very tasty and well-prepared. The atmosphere is pleasant, clean, and cozy, perfect for a break from exploring the city. The service was good: straightforward, efficient, and unfussy. The prices are a bit high, yes, but within the standard we've found in other Italian cities over the past 10 days. Nothing out of the ordinary. We just ordered water with lemon and ice (no wine this time) and received excellent service. Important: the restaurant accepts credit cards, which makes things much easier. Overall, we found the experience very satisfactory. It's worth checking out and drawing your own conclusions. 😊

05/08/2025: Totally unacceptable! They charged us 12 euros for the cover (they never told you this) when we saw the bill, surprise! Some people have no vindictiveness. Reportable.

27/07/2025: Definitely not! We chose this restaurant based on the reviews, but we were wrong... or at least maybe it was a bad night for them. We booked at 9:30 PM because it was the only available spot. We arrived early, around 9:00 PM, and they found a spot... for that, hats off. After half an hour, they came to take our order: we asked for two tuna tartares, one classic with avocado and one without, a panzanella, and linguine with snapper, specifying that parsley should not be added to the sauce (for personal reasons). While we were waiting, they forgot to bring us bread, which can happen... after another half an hour, the dishes arrived: both tuna tartares were without avocado, and the linguine had parsley. When we pointed this out, we were annoyed and told, "But it's cooked... and it's in the sauce" (couldn't you have mentioned this earlier? There would have been no problem). The dish was taken away, and the poor saintly chef ran out of the restaurant to apologize and ask what he could do. In the end, they agreed on spaghetti with clams... without parsley. Excellent dishes, well-cooked but a bit small, the portions were meager. Next, we quickly ordered two fried squid and two braised octopus on a bed of potatoes. They arrived on time (also because there were only a few of us left), and these were also truly excellent, but as previously mentioned, a bit meager; the octopus had become a single tentacle on a bed of potatoes. We spent €40 each... and left late and hungry. I've said it before: maybe it was a bad night, but you certainly can't rely on the moon or the wind.

25/05/2025: Ottima colazione alla Pasticceria Venere, proprio sul lungomare di Marina di Massa. Iniziare la giornata con la sfoglia riso artigianale, calda e fragrante, è davvero un piacere. La vista sul mare fa il resto. Servizio cordiale, ambiente pulito e curato. Un posto perfetto per iniziare al meglio la giornata.

17/06/2025: I am writing about my last experience at this restaurant because I will never go back. As reported in other reviews, the service is very disorganized, which is why I asked after 40 minutes of waiting and with the restaurant half empty and with customers who arrived after me who had already been eating for a while when the appetizers would arrive. After that, the waiter arrives in a very arrogant tone and not at all polite or kind (let's remember that we are customers and that we pay for everything, both for the food and for the service) and says to me "Madam, you ordered fish, it takes two minutes to cook the fish, frying the zeppole, but it takes much longer to make the fish" I am quite shocked because everything was said out loud in a rude way and embarrassing me in front of all the other customers. After that, once we went to the house to pay, the gentleman in charge of the cashier asks us if everything went well and I tell him what happened. He apologizes saying that it is not their habit to treat customers like this and that the waiter in particular never allows himself to treat anyone badly. Feeling called into question, the waiter comes to the house and again begins to raise his voice to which I again point out that it is not polite to use this type of tone with customers, his textual response "that this tone is not good is her saying" and the head of the house who shortly before had said that this waiter in particular never allows himself to behave like this tells me textually "this is his tone". I must say that I also made a mistake because seeing the low level in general the best thing would have been to leave immediately, lesson learned. In any case I reiterated that I will never set foot in that restaurant again and I really won't. I advise you to try places elsewhere, fortunately there are still many restaurants and trattorias in Pistoia where the service is very good and also the education of the staff

02/08/2025: A disappointing experience, far from our expectations We spent a day at the beach, hoping to relax and enjoy some summer atmosphere, but unfortunately, the experience turned out to be anything but pleasant. For €45, we found ourselves in the very last row, right next to the restrooms: no view, zero privacy, and a constant stream of people. The most absurd moment was the aperitif. They brought us a bottle of wine to share between six people, along with a very sad tray containing a few chips and a few counted olives. We very politely asked if we could have at least one pinza (on the menu), and the answer was that it had to be ordered "the day before," as if hunger were predictable. I understand the desire to focus on a certain vibe and perhaps a refined aesthetic, but when there's no hospitality, flexibility, and even a modicum of customer service, the whole thing loses its value. The service and hospitality need rethinking. At the moment, I wouldn't recommend it.

04/08/2025: Personale gentile e soprattutto cibo semplice, casareccio e buono. Pochi fronzoli ma l' importante è che si è mangiato bene e veloce. Ambiente pulito un po' etnico ma formale. Ci siamo sentiti a proprio agio. Ci torneremo.

02/08/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante dopo la mattinata allo zoo, molto vicino al parco. Sabato alle 13 il locale era vuoto! Presi dei primi piatti che erano commestibili, nulla di più, ma la pecca più grande è la pulizia, posate a tavola completamente impolverate, abbiamo chiesto di cambiarle perché erano indecenti, sulla tovaglia di carta una volta alzati i tovaglioli si poteva notare la sagoma di essi, dovuta allo scolorimento dato dal sole (siamo comunque al chiuso), quindi quel tavolo era apparecchiato da non so quanto…

03/08/2025: WHAT ARE YOUDOING HERE?! "IT'S A PRIVATE BEACH!!!! NOT A KIDS FRIENDLY AREA. Be careful! Are you ready to spend time with the kids here,first read my story and be prepared! So I came to the beach with my three kids at around 6 o'clock on Saturday,I bought the necessary things at the bar,like water,ice cream, and apirol, and we went to the beach with the kids.There were several people on the beach including me and the children.I left the stroller and Apirol near the empty sun lounger and my children aged 1, 3 and 8 years went swimming. We played on the beach for about 50 minutes, and then tired and happy we went to the exit.On the way to the exit we were met by an unfriendly woman in a green dress from the market, shouting at us , " WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE " IT'S A PRIVATE BEACH " That we had taken someone's sunbed! They forced me to pay 100 euros. For the sunbed near which I parked the stroller, I never even sat on the sunbed, mothers who will read will understand me very well. That sitting on a sunbed with 3 small children is an impossible mission)), and they forced me to pay 100 euros for a sunbed that I didn't use at all. So this beach is a not kids friendly area.No one even thought to help me, offer a sunbed or give me towels. They simply charged me 100 euros for 1 hour, for a sunbed that we didn't even use.So I paid 100 euros for a sunbed that had already been bought for the season by another family.

24/07/2025: A lovely and affordable place to rent a parasol (€50) or a tent (€70) including chairs. €7 for a gin and tonic and €3 for a beer is also a great price. Friendly people!

21/04/2025: Passo spesso da queste parti in viaggio per lavoro, ho scoperto questo ristorante grazie a una persona del luogo, e da allora cerco sempre di fermarmi per la cena in questo ristorante quando passo in zona. Ho assaggiato un po’ tutti i piatti del menu dalla carne ai primi passando per i salumi e per i dolci. Direi che il mio piatto preferito restano i ravioli di “mucco pisano” (prezzo 12€) è un bel piatto di ravioli ripieni di carne locale conditi con un abbondante ragù sempre fatto con carne locale. Molto buoni sono anche le carni e i salumi. Per un antipasto carne dolce a cena, sei intorno ai 50 €. Però ci sono altri piatti, come ad esempio i primi, che sono più economici. Questo locale fa anche la pizzeria, anche quella è molto buona. Ogni volta che sono passato in questo locale in qualunque giorno della settimana, l’ho sempre trovato strapieno sia in estate che in inverno, sinonimo del fatto che la qualità della loro cucina è apprezzata anche da gente del posto. I dolci, prezzo medio 6€, sono un po’ piccini, per rispetto allo standard. Se si cerca un ristorante con carni di qualità, questo è il posto giusto.

21/02/2025: Cambio la precedente recensione per sottolineare quanto una gestione oculata faccia la fortuna di certe attività (insieme alla qualità del cibo e del bere). In una precedente occasione c'era stata un'incomprensione - causata anche da mia inesperienza - che aveva portato ad una brutta esperienza, ma il titolare e il direttore hanno fatto sì che l'impressione tornasse quella di prima, ovvero di un luogo di eccellenza.

02/08/2025: The word "Relax" should be removed from the sign. Aside from having a view from the mobile home of what looks like a dilapidated refugee camp with crammed tents of questionable taste that look like they've had their day since the '80s, but that's the least you can do. The cold and rude staff seems to think that the fee collection is "my treasure," since it was the only iteration we had that resulted in a response; all others were ignored due to the inconvenience. Everywhere you turn, there's always children's music blasting at 1000 watts, always the same, like it's Tomorrowland (whoever composed the theme song for the center should be sued), making it impossible to even chat, let alone rest. To give you an idea, you could hear it from the pool at the mobile home where we were staying, which was on the other side of the camp, for far too long a time. The worst part is the evening. 7/7 children's entertainment starts around 9 PM—guess what? The same obnoxious, commercial music blaring nonstop until midnight, which put a strain on controlling the urge to steal the speaker cables, intending to return them at checkout to avoid further torture. All this was topped off with annoying announcements in the morning reminding us of the useless and very expensive camp services. The real highlight was an attempt to buy a pack of cigarettes, given the heavy smoking caused by my stay, at what appears to be a dubious "tobacconist's" that, of course, doesn't accept cards but only cash. If you're unfortunately at the campsite while reading this review, I invite you to stop by and hear the clerk's "poetic" justification for this decision, which a financial police officer might find rather questionable… If you read it first, I hope you find better places nearby, but certainly not here.

15/07/2025: Siamo state a cena io e le mie amiche, esperienza totalmente negativa. Ore 21.30, ci siamo sedute a cena una mia amica trova un pezzo di vetro sul tavolo mentre un'altra mia amica si è tagliata un dito con un pezzo di vetro che si trovava sul suo tovagliolo, per fortuna che stava prendendo il tovagliolo per metterlo sulle gambe e non per pulirsi la bocca. Le portano del disinfettante e un cerotto e per scusarsi dell accaduto dicono che ci offriranno i dolci, invece dopo erano tutti inseriti sul conto!!! Molti dei piatti del menù TERMINATI! 3 tipi di vini rosè, 2 dei quali TERMINATI e l'unico rimasto IMBEVIBILE Abbiamo ordinato gli stessi piatti per non aspettare troppo Alcuni erano crudi altri erano stracotti (tipo l uovo) La paella immangiabile, riso o crudo e bruciato!!!! Confidavo nei churros e invece, totalmente insapore!!! Servizio lentissimo! MAI PIÙ P.S.: a fine serata avranno rotto almeno 4/5 bicchieri, ecco perchè tutti quei pezzi di vetro sul tavolo.
