29/05/2025: We had a great time today! The wine selection (2 rosé, 2 red) was excellent, and the waiter provided excellent presentations, including information about the wines, the growing regions, and the grape varieties used. The paninis were fresh and well-filled.

21/05/2025: Fantastic food with great wines! We shared several dishes and everything we got was great: from the focaccia with panchette and burrata, to the bruschettas and orange salad with anchovies. You might just walk past it, but don't! Highly recommended!

11/05/2025: I entered the restaurant “A maidda” by chance because I didn’t know it had reopened and I discovered that you can have the pleasure of eating there only on weekends. The place is suggestive and very romantic! I had the orecchiette scented with fennel… Amazing dish… Impeccable cooking and delicate and tasty fennel cream. The chef who is also the owner of the restaurant is very knowledgeable as well as very kind and friendly and the staff is very kind and very friendly He explained to us that the menu varies according to seasonal products. I also learned that the place offers experiences and culinary journeys of a certain depth. I promised myself to return more often!

26/04/2025: We had dinner here on a Saturday night and had a very good meal. Well-prepared traditional local foods, excellent flavors and very inviting combinations. The appetizer is highly recommended. Very friendly staff, particular place with some tables inside a small cave. Absolutely recommended!

31/05/2025: 100% recommended! Exquisite quality and service. Don't miss the fish carbonara, or the fish of the day. We tried the bluefin tuna belly, and it was spectacular.

16/05/2025: One of the best restaurants we have found , it’s full of locals very friendly and the food is amazing, only place we have found vegetables in abundance, it’s a very casual canteen type place no table service, you point at what you want to eat and drink and give your name, they call you when it’s ready, just like home, and you clear away after, great atmosphere.

19/05/2025: Highly recommended by our host, and we totally get the reason why we have to eat here whilst in Ortigia! It was so good that we ate here two days in a row! Loved the freshness of the seafood (particularly the daily special “sea uni pasta” and mussels soup), their pasta and above all, how fun and nice everyone who served us! Service line is never easy with the long hours but all the servers is so helpful and clearly loved their job!

The service is exceptional: attentive, warm, and professional. What's particularly nice is that the owner speaks English, German, French, and Italian and caters to her guests' individual needs. You immediately feel welcome. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Sicilian food in a relaxed atmosphere! And we really enjoyed it here!

02/03/2025: Ho provato questo ristorante già un paio di volte quest’anno e ho apprezzato molto la cucina di pesce avendo provato la pasta allo scoglio, all’astice ed il mix di antipasti! Tornerei volentieri per provare il resto ma forse non riuscire a prendere di nuovo lo scoglio che mi è piaciuto veramente tanto! Servizio cortese e prezzi nella media!

26/04/2025: Una stupenda prima volta presso questo ristorante. La bontà dei piatti incontra la convivialità e l'esperienza del personale, che con calore ci ha accolti e consigliati. I due primi ottimi e ben bilanciati nel gusto. La "pasta ca muddica" mi ha riportata indietro nel tempo a quando la mia nonna preparava questo piatto. Ottime anche le linguine con bottarga e asparagi; Come secondo, consiglio "tonno a cipuddata". Complimenti l'amore che mettete nel vostro lavoro. Grazie per la piacevolissima esperienza. 03/03/2025: What a divine pasta, it takes a little patience, but it is really great. Nice atmosphere, old building, beautiful vaults. You can eat very well here.

01/06/2025: Fabulous restaurant, had a great meal here with excellent service and fantastic food. We shared an antipasto plate for a starter which was mostly vegetarian tasters and absolutely delicious, mains we had lovely pasta. House wine was good. No room for dessert! Excellent value for money.
