31/10/2025: Hands down our favourite place in Ortigia - came here every day during our stay. A truly wonderful selection of local wines, a really charming and knowledgeable owner, and a lovely and down-to-earth atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

24/10/2025: Cute wine place. Went for apero and took the chese and meat plater which was very good. The wine was very good - a lot of choices!

07/11/2025: Once we arrived in Lentini, we stopped for dinner at this restaurant, we met Salvo and he let us taste simple cuisine rich in flavors and genuine raw materials, his great passion is very perceptible, we had a great time, thanks until next time!!

05/10/2025: The food was fantastic; the caponata with chocolate was truly delicious, as was the cinnamon-pork pasta! The service was very friendly and there was a special menu for children, including children's cutlery. We felt very welcome.

22/10/2025: Absolutely loved this little restaurant situated in a quiet and picturesque courtyard. While the food was amazing there was one young woman working all the tables and she was amazing. We’ve been in Sicily for two weeks and she was easily the friendliest and most welcoming in any restaurant…. As well as a very hard worker!!! Thank you for a wonderful evening

19/10/2025: Wonderful location in a small, quiet square. Amazing pizzas and we also tried the caponata and ravioli - both of which were all fantastic. Highly recommend!

05/11/2025: We are on our third trip to Italy and the food is always a major focus for us. We had the best meal of all our time spent in Sicily at this restaurant. The host of our lodging made the suggestion and reservation, definitely the right choice. The food was exquisite - the raw seafood excellent, the pastas similarly excellent, and the one dessert was not too sweet and quite tasty. A wine recommendation was as good as the food. The service was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. The space is cozy and there is an outdoor section. Even if you are going to Catania but not Siracusa, think about an evening trip for dinner.

10/10/2025: A warm and inviting experience! Friendly service, excellent food and reasonable pricing. We normally live and die by the Michelin or Slow Food guides, but we took a chance on this place and we loved it. Highly recommend!!!

04/11/2025: We ordered a platter and a plate of raw ham with burrata, accompanied by an excellent wine. Everything was excellent! The staff were truly kind and helpful. The atmosphere was great, with pleasant music. If I were to return to Syracuse, I would be happy to return here.

29/08/2025: We chose this restaurant from among the many in Ortigia and were delighted with the quality and deliciousness of the ingredients, and therefore the dishes. The caponata was excellent, truly excellent, with a very unique recipe: raisins and pine nuts in a triumph of Sicilian style. The staff, consisting of two sisters in the dining room (the third in the kitchen), is very friendly and approachable. They make you feel at home and offer plenty of advice. The fish is fresh. We have some concerns about the desserts, which look beautiful but are actually quite lacking, and the surrounding atmosphere (we practically ate dinner on the sidewalk). Overall, a highly recommended option for lunch or dinner on the beautiful island of Ortigia.

12/10/2025: Amazing pasta! We came twice but my favourite was the Cacio e Pepe by faaaar! The amatriciana was super delicious too! I’d love to come back.

08/10/2025: Looked great from the outside and from other people’s reviews, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Probably ate the worst Carbonara ever, looked like pasta with scrambled eggs. Although I believe they have great dishes aside from the carbonara what actually contribute to this 1 star review was the service. As rude as you can get when serving a customer.

13/11/2025: We have followed the recommandation of the guide book once again and it was very nice. We had these delicious typical flat sandwiches. Staff is very friendly. A very good place to go for lunch!

03/11/2025: A truly charming place in the heart of Ortigia. We drank interesting and sophisticated cocktails, carefully crafted and truly delicious. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet welcoming, with a historic square and the sky overhead—a truly evocative atmosphere. The food is simple yet fresh and well-prepared: we tried a fennel salad and anchovy crostini, perfect accompaniments to our drinks. An ideal place for a relaxed and delicious evening, definitely worth a visit if you're visiting Ortigia.

04/10/2025: We had a really great lunch here today. Five fish appetizers for two people €50. Excellent and interesting cooking. Friendly service. Would recommend and plan to return ourselves.

28/09/2025: The best Pasta A la Norma we had in our week here, between Catania and the islands north. Everything was delicious; dessert should not be skipped, also phenomenal. The staff was fantastic, friendly and attentive. Families were happy eating here and I would swear the manager knew everyone in the neighborhood as a regular if I could understand Italian. I felt welcomed and was well cared for nonetheless. One of our favorites of many restaurants visited around Italy. I wish the car wash across the street would close for a better atmosphere.

10/10/2025: Unfortunately, the restaurant is one of the worst I've ever visited. The food is very average. I strongly advise against it.
