03/08/2025: Good morning everyone, today I was in Lentini and discovered this restaurant called A Maida. It's run by Salvatore Bordonaro and his wonderful family. Well, what can I say? I highly recommend it, the food is divine. 10 out of 10.

He pours his heart into the restaurant, and it shows in every detail, from the food to the atmosphere. The cuisine is simply exceptional: 100% Sicilian, authentic, generous, and prepared with only the freshest ingredients. Each dish tells a story—that of Sicily, its traditions, and its unique flavors. It's a true journey with every bite, a joy for the palate! The setting is magnificent, elegant yet welcoming, perfect for enjoying a moment of conviviality and culinary discovery. It's clear that nothing is left to chance; everything is made with taste and a love of the craft. A huge thank you to Salvatore for this sincere and authentic gastronomic experience. It's rare to find such authentic places and such passionate people. We will definitely be back with great pleasure and recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly!

01/08/2025: Hospitality, professionalism, and friendliness are the hallmarks of Evoè. We enjoyed a wine tasting expertly guided by Adriano and ate excellent food served by the charming Alessandro. A wonderful experience.

27/07/2025: Loved this place so much we visited 4 times during our 1 week stay! By far the best setting for wine tasting - there are a few other wine bar/shops in town but we felt this one wins hands down due to ambiance, quality and value. We had such great service, attention to detail when describing the origins of the wines and matching to our tastes, as well as knowledgeable descriptions of the beautifully presented cheese/ meat platter. First night we had dinner and sampled some wine. 2nd and 3rd night just for drinks, and by the 4th visit we felt like we were meeting with friends. Have fallen in love with Sicilian Sauvignon Blanc, thanks to Adiamo and Alessandro. Will definitely pop in again if we are in the region again. Ciao!

10/08/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante oggi per la prima volta ed è stato un vero piacere! Il servizio è stato impeccabile e premuroso. Il personale molto cordiale e disponibile e super attento. Il cibo a base di pesce ottimo, con piatti creativi e ben presentati. Il mio piatto preferito è stato il crudo di pesce e per la prima volta ho assaggiato le cozze al gorgonzola davvero squisite! Il locale accogliente e ha un'atmosfera frrsca e rilassante. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti! Torneremo sicuramente!

08/08/2025: Ieri sera siamo stati a cena in 4 e siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti. Come antipasti abbiamo gustato ostriche, piatto fuori menù servito in modo originale con una granita alla mela: se le trovate, dovete assolutamente provarle! Abbiamo preso anche sarde alla beccafico, tartare, crostini e polpette di baccalà, tutti piatti davvero deliziosi. Il polpo, tenero all’interno e croccante all’esterno, è stato il piatto forte della serata. Per concludere, dolce e caffè hanno chiuso la cena in modo perfetto. L’atmosfera era tranquilla e rilassante, mentre il personale si è mostrato gentilissimo, cordiale e molto disponibile come sempre! Un’esperienza da consigliare sicuramente.

03/08/2025: Maravillosa comida y servicio en un ambiente muy agradable. Lo disfrutamos IT mucho. El maitre’d era excelente, además de ser muy amable y encantador. Recomiendo este restaurante para parejas y grupos pequeños.

23/08/2025: During our trip to Sicily we had a lot of very nice food. This restaurant was or favorite, every dish was a pleasant surprise!

19/08/2025: Food: could be better the open lasagne was missing some salt (even with the added parmigiano, the tomato sauce was a bit blend), otherwise it was very good combination and a nice idea. The swordfish was ok. And the potato and leek piure was a little bit disappointing. It wasn’t bad, but the texture was something else from what we thought it will be. So 3.8-4/5, but I would definitely come back to try some kore visionary food! The service was spotless, thank you very much! Easy 5/5. Atmosphere: well, we had a bunch of people there..smoking and having a pretty loud talk, but this was not the restaurant’s fault, the restaurant looked pretty. 5/5. Thank you!

Chef Angelino has a rare talent: his dishes are balanced, creative, and always impeccable in both flavor and presentation. The maître d', who welcomes you with kindness and a genuine smile, is attentive and knowledgeable, making the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant is elegant, with meticulous attention to detail, and a style that combines refinement and Sicilian soul. One of the best restaurants I've tried in Sicily. Highly recommended. Lorenzo

22/07/2025: A place not to be missed! Magnificent decor in a superb stone-vaulted room. The dishes are delicious and the service impeccable. We received a very warm welcome, even with four children! Wide selection of wines, excellent grappa, and probably the best vongole I've ever tasted. The tiramisu was also excellent, as were the seafood appetizers. A truly delightful experience!

29/07/2025: We had the absolute pleasure of dining at this wonderful Sicilian restaurant in Ortigia, and from the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, Nadia – truly one of the kindest and most genuine people you’ll ever meet. Her hospitality made us feel like family, and it added so much heart to the entire experience❤️ The highlight of our meal was the seabass – perfectly fresh, delicately grilled, and bursting with flavor. The locally sourced ingredients and thoughtful service was complete! If you're in Ortigia and looking for an unforgettable, authentic Sicilian dining experience, this place is a must-visit. And if you're lucky, Nadia herself will greet you with a smile that instantly makes you feel at home. 10/10 – we’ll absolutely be back!

28/07/2025: Nice little restaurant where we stopped a bit by chance. We ordered ravioli which was good but perhaps too slightly flavorful and divine pistachio pesto pasta which I highly recommend. The quantities were perhaps a little too small but in line with the price. The service was pleasant

A definitely positive review, a place to go for good pizza. The only downside is the tables with wooden chairs, which aren't exactly wooden.
