When I was in the area, I went there to eat pizza, but I don't know other dishes, second courses, first courses, therefore. Unfortunately, for some time now, the pizzas don't seem to be made of the good dough they used to be, now they seem rubbery, poorly leavened, badly cooked, the edges not as high as they used to be, although the toppings were plentiful and fresh, they often didn't respect what was written on the menu... the fries were good without the taste of stale oil...I am seriously considering the idea of ​​never going back again, to my great regret and because I am looking for better dough, raw materials, leavening, cooking

28/08/2025: I visited Al Borgo restaurant in Monterosso and I must say it was a very positive experience. The place is simple and unpretentious, yet welcoming and has an authentic atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. I found the dishes generous and tasty, made with authentic ingredients: the pasta with sausage and capuliato was truly excellent, and the pizza is also worth a try, probably one of the best in town.

11/06/2025: Been there with my family to visit the "fattojo", i. e., the place where they show how to make the chocolate from bean to bar. The visit was worth the trip: the two ladies showed us the the process of making the real Modica chocolate, explaining also how to roast, peel and grind the beans...interleaving the experience with sweet treats, from the cold chocolate to the chocolate flavored spirit at the end. Definitely worth visiting!

01/05/2025: Sempre perennemente affollata. Impossibile provare il cioccolato, ma, data la calca di turisti, deve essere acquistato tutto a scatola chiusa. Le tavolette da 50gr vanno approssimativamente dai €2,80 ai €4,40. I tour esperienziali devono essere necessariamente prenotati in anticipo. Buona la cioccolata fredda a €3,50 e la cassatina al pistacchio a €5,50.

09/09/2025: Everything was perfect: gluten-free food, impeccable table service, and the new space has made it warmer and more modern. Compliments for everything, including the prices... highly recommended.

29/08/2025: We had dinner here tonight, and I can't help but write right away because I'm so disappointed. Mediocre appetizers from the '80s, praised in a completely different way by the waitress, first courses that are truly beyond comment: awful seafood risotto, overcooked boiled rice, and rubbery fish, spaghetti with clams completely devoid of salt, second courses that were obviously not ordered because to err is human, but to persevere is diabolical. Obviously, we reported the problems to the cashier, but the owner, I believe, arrogantly and presumptuously denied the evidence and then, in an argument, deducted our two first courses. I absolutely do not recommend it. Abandon all hope, ye who enter here. Shame on you.

14/04/2025: A piece of advice Regarding the staff, don't put your hands in your mouth, and then serve people without gloves, the underside of the black nails is really shabby, I will never stop in this place to eat again, the eye wants its part, even the desire to eat has passed.

15/08/2025: Fresh, excellently cooked fish. The terrace offers a fantastic view of the churches and Piazza Italia. The young, friendly, and knowledgeable wait staff are incredibly helpful.

13/08/2025: We dined on the beautiful terrace overlooking the square. The atmosphere was relaxing, although at the end of the meal we had the impression of being in a restaurant designed specifically to tempt foreign tourists. The service was good; they even let us taste two wines before choosing the one for the evening. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, but the way they're prepared isn't; the presentation is the best. The roasted octopus was good, but the pasta with sardines (which we know well, since we're all Sicilian) was completely saltless and tasteless; we had to order salt to eat it. The other first course, pasta with baby squid, was flavorless. One of us ordered the catch of the day (garfish), and a small plate arrived with four tiny pieces of fish, a few cherry tomatoes, and a few olives, no other side dishes, all for €22. The mini cassata for dessert was average. The quality-price ratio (and quantity) could be improved.

07/08/2025: For a brioche, €0.80 cents, one of the best in my opinion and one of the least expensive. The granita is delicious for only €2.50. The bar is perhaps a little small to accommodate more people, but it's fantastic.

07/05/2025: Baby Margherita plus frankfurters.. Definitely taken literally! I call to order 4 pizzas, including a baby margherita with frankfurters for my daughter, and this arrives! Literally one frankfurter, one, one euro, one frankfurter, right! Now, it's not for the euro itself, but I really don't think this can be considered a supplement. For posterity the arduous sentence!

25/07/2025: Agriturismo in mezzo alla campagna fra ragusa e santa croce Camerina colpisce subito l’organizzazione e la disposizione, da un lato la struttura con il punto vendita e a seguire lo spazio per la degustazione, delle grandi sale che sfociano in un giardino esterno ben curato. Il personale estremamente gentile ti accompagna al tavolo. Prodotti di una bontà eccezionale, ricotta mozzarella burrata e formaggio sono veramente top non da meno il formaggio le salsicce la cotoletta e l’hamburger, provato anche lo stufato di bufalo ottimo. Chiuso con il classico cannolo buonissimo. Soddisfatto pienamente ad un prezzo ottimo. Ci tornerò
