29/06/2025: I'm coming back this year and I have to say it's even worse. Seated at 10:30 pm, the pizza arrives at 12:30 am and they give us a huge speech about their internal dynamics to justify the delay, well if you don't have a big oven then don't take unlimited reservations, also because the pizzas cost significantly more than average. They come to tell us that a €14 pizza is missing toppings because they've run out, we say ok but then they make us pay anyway. Ridiculous portions of fries, one is enough for half a person and no hint of an apology for the very long wait. Pizzas are good, very nice and relaxing environment BUT the most sore point is the service. The kids who work as waiters are totally inexperienced, without guidance and improvised. The cover charge is €3 per person and it's all wrong. We ask for 3 pizzas and a salad and they tell us that this will arrive much sooner, we reply that we are there to have dinner together and that therefore we want it with the pizzas... They don't give a damn and they bring it 40 minutes early and without toppings that we had to ask for after 15 minutes of waiting hopefully. I finish my pizza and suddenly a waiter appears and asks to take away my plate, everything normal except that he took it away a moment later without waiting for my answer or for me to move! Now I ask myself: is it important to make money or to retain customers? It's summer and every man for himself... In the meantime, tourism has collapsed but we continue calmly asking for money for services that don't exist!

25/05/2025: We stopped here on a recommendation from our hotel and were very happily surprised. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The decor was a little plain. But the flavor combinations were out of this world! In fact, we returned the next evening so that we could finish sampling the desserts. Unique!

07/05/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo domenica scorsa in questo ristorante nel corso principale di Modica, in occasione di un raduno di 500 d'epoca. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, le portare erano generose, il cibo ben cucinato, gustoso. Personale gentile.

22/06/2025: Two rather diluted Aperol spritz, some crisps and some peanuts 16.80 Euros, of which 2.40 for the service. (?!?!) Not even at much higher levels of quality and location would we have spent so much. To the predictable response of the manager that we could look at the menu I point out that: it was not offered to us and in any case the plucking price would have remained unchanged. To be avoided!! The star for the sea, which however is not the merit of the establishment.

02/06/2025: I’m giving it one star because I can’t give less. Don’t trust the photos in the reviews, they’re 5 years old and have nothing to do with what you will eat. The tagliere is a mix of frozen food that’s deep fried before being served to you. No salumi, no good Sicilian cheese as one might expect. You will get chicken nuggets and other cheap frozen food that even my two kids did not want to eat. Scoglitti is a very small town but they are many other better places to eat! Avoid this tourist trap at all cost!!

29/04/2025: We came with a group of 21 people to this amazing restaurant. They hosted us with professionalism and an open heart, which we appreciated very much. The food is excellent, the exclusive view of the cathedral is wonderful! We will be back for sure!

01/06/2025: Un pranzo da principi! Trattoria tipica locale con piatti cucinati a regola d’arte. Ci siamo fermati per il pranzo della domenica, il posto ci ha invogliato perché molto tranquillo e siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dalla qualità delle pietanze. A completare l’esperienza la splendida gestione familiare e la simpatia del sig. Ignazio. Torneremo di sicuro! Consigliato

06/05/2025: Capitati per caso, abbiamo trovato piatti che non avevano molto sapore, ma la cosa peggiore è che avevamo preso il vino della casa e poiché non ci sembrava fresco, anzi era acido, abbiamo chiesto se si potesse cambiare, la risposta è stata "il vino è questo, se volete prendete una bottiglia". Noi sconcertati dalla risposta, non appena abbiamo finito il pasto abbiamo pagato e siamo andati, anche perché il servizio era inesistente in quanto hanno portato il primo con i piatti dell'antipasto ancora al tavolo e in pieno servizio i camerieri erano fuori a fumare. Abbiamo preso due primi che avevano entrambi le zucchine fritte, sembravano fatti nella stessa pentola, cambiava solo l'aggiunta alla fine della salsiccia da una parte e dal gambero (bassa qualità) e stracciatella dall'altra. Provano a ingannare i turisti magari non esperti del cibo locale ma non sanno che hanno trovato dei siciliani. DA EVITARE

27/04/2025: Siamo stati a cena in questo ristorante ieri sera,2 adulti e 1 bambina, avendo visto che aveva buone recensioni ci siamo fidati. Servizio pessimo, cameriere che giocavano anziché curare la sala ed i clienti. Attesa infinita tra le varie portate, mi hanno sbagliato il secondo di pesce. Ancora attesa. Praticamente ho mangiato la fritturina di pesce quando mio marito aveva già digerito la sua pasta. Almeno una delle due ragazze al momento del conto, per farsi perdonare ha gentilmente offerto la pasta in bianco a mia figlia. Secondo me è sopravvalutato come ristorante. Le pietanze non erano granché, buona la caponata. Cena deludente.
