28/03/2025: Attracted by a good reputation, I go to lunch on Sunday. After an initial reservation on the veranda side, we ask to add two seats but they move us back inside. When we get to the restaurant, we realize that the two extra seats do not justify moving us back inside, because the tables are square, it was enough to add two chairs. Anyway, we sit down, when we order we order regularly at 1.15pm, at 1.25pm ​​we ask for a change of dish for a guest but we are told that everything is cooking, the dish to be changed arrives at 2.10 (45 minutes of cooking??). The teasing?? No thanks! The quality? Fair, but bringing three swordfish skewers that are honestly not abundant at the price of 15 euros, they could also make an extra effort considering that they use frozen raw materials (written on the menu). Four people, three appetizers, four second courses, bottle of wine and can of coke 135 euros...

16/03/2025: Contrary to what I read, we were served correctly and in a more than reasonable time. Personally I took "pasta with ricci" it's not worth the publicity that is given to this dish... like the starter at the beginning: 1 dish with seafood: 1 dried oyster, shrimp under a mountain of mayonnaise and fish fillets and a little "caponata" (that always makes me laugh in a seafood dish). The positive point is the aperitif: 25 cl of Campari in a large glass (like a spritz), in this restaurant the barista does not know the doses to serve. At the checkout, a great circus worthy of amateurs.... would I come back? Not sure, there are much better elsewhere, but if you are not concerned about the quality of the preparation of the dishes: go ahead!

26/03/2025: Celebrated a birthday in the past few weeks. The atmosphere was quite dark as far as being able to simply see what was on your plate. Karaoke night, with music in total distortion that would not allow you to talk to the person sitting next to you as the music was almost deafening. The pizzas finally arrived... and maybe it would have been better if they hadn't arrived. My partner had a pizza with rocket which was yellow and wilted. I had a pizza with sausage and onion which was almost uneatable. The whole table left parts of the pizzas because honestly between when it was burnt, no with poor quality ingredients, you couldn't continue to eat them. That said without music or at least humanly pleasant, the appetizers were decent. With the pizzas they really shot themselves in the foot. I won't be going back, that's for sure. I hope they can only improve, because worse than this, honestly, it's really difficult to go down.

17/03/2025: Found the place through reviews and yes, I have to compliment them. Arriving at 2.30pm they welcomed us with a smile, politeness and friendliness, the staff recommended the starters and first courses, all made with the true flavors of Palermo. I didn't take photos because I was very hungry but believe me abundant and good dishes, I thank all the staff see you soon 💯💯💯💯

08/02/2025: Accoglienza zero, il personale non adeguato. Il localle è molto carino posizionato in via Libertà. La pasticceria è ottima, hanno una scelta limitata. Tuttavia, quando sono andata, la signora alla cassa (una proprietaria) mi ha detto che mi avrebbero fatto trovare quello che dedideravo dall'altro punto vendita di via Pitre'.Purtroppo non è stato così quando ho chiamato per ordinare una torta, la commessa mi ha detto che era impossibile. Delusione sul servizio/disponibilità /organizzazione

18/02/2025: Traditional pastry shop with long experience in the field of Sicilian desserts and ice cream cakes. The rotisserie is of quality with generously sized pieces. The ingredients and their coordination in compliance with the recipes handed down from generation to generation by master pastry chefs, artists of the form, but above all of the content of the many delicacies that honor our territory, make the difference: high quality ricotta creams, top level chocolate. Try the Sicilian cassata in the baked versions and with icing and candied fruit. The pastry shop is obviously more assorted on the weekend. In the outdoor area it is possible to have breakfast or lunch in a relaxed and overall quiet atmosphere. Excellent service and great empathy from the staff

18/01/2025: I commissioned a cake for my son's birthday and I had asked for a 5kg cake with cream. I had specified no strawberries and no liqueur. They did everything their own way. They added liqueur, strawberries and made the cake 2kg more, inflating the price. The bartender at the counter spends more time chatting than serving. After this I'm done and I'll turn to more professional people

04/03/2025: Come for an informal dinner, we ordered a Mexican appetizer with a jalapeno supplement, n.2 pizzas. Excellent Mexican and fried food of excellent quality and the best jalapeno ever eaten in the area. The pizzas have good alveolation, excellent tomato as well as mozzarella. Very pleasant waiters, smiling and discreet. I highly recommend it

15/02/2025: I ate there 4 times to be able to simply say that the pizza in this place is very good. Next week I will have the margherita (here you can see the skill of the pizza chef) in order to confirm the 5 stars. A place that has no pretensions, but where you can eat excellent pizza and also a cocktail for an aperitif. The modest prices confirm an excellent quality/price ratio. Recommended for families.

14/02/2025: 25€ to eat two slices of a lukewarm pizza with two orange juices 🤔 For €8 you'll get the same thing in a bakery, and much better quality!

22/02/2025: Always staff and I repeat always exquisite. If I want certainty in eating an excellent pizza I know I have to go to 400 Gradi pizza chef! I love the dough with Tumminia flour, first choice raw materials.

12/04/2025: No coma en Beati Paoli. Ambos comimos risotto, lo cual fue horrible. Estaban acuosos y no estaban cocinados adecuadamente, y cuando nos quejamos todo lo que obtuvimos fue un encogimiento de hombros y una negativa a aceptar que no deberíamos pagar. Quizás la pizza está bien, pero mantente alejado de cualquier otra cosa.

14/02/2025: Very kind and helpful staff, beautiful structure, excellent central location (even if this is the downside for the parking. However, despite a fairly recent restoration, it would seem as if the restoration was managed by a person/s not accustomed to purely hotel needs but closer to private residential structures. It's a shame

11/01/2025: We went to the Flamingo for the first time yesterday to try the Friday Karaoke evening. The environment is welcoming and the staff friendly. We didn't wait long for the pizzas, which turned out to be very good, as were the final desserts (cakes and parfait). The evening with good background music and then also the Karaoke was very pleasant. We will definitely return

01/01/2025: Disgusting New Year's Eve dinner (???????)!!!! We asked for the fish-based menu at €70.00 per person (which isn't much!) Money practically thrown in the bin!!!!!! Starters not fresh at all. Pasta overcooked and tasteless, let's not talk about the second course. A tart that was somehow purple and had an unpleasant taste, according to those who were sitting with me at the table. But the smell already said it all!!!! There was a stench of rancid and freshly heated fish that made you vomit. If it hadn't been for the entertainer who at least made things a little more festive, without making people think about the dishes, there would probably have been a mass "exodus". So thank the singer who at least sweetened this "bitter pill"!!!! Obviously, next year, we will choose a better place
