14/04/2026: One of the best pastry shops in Ficarazzi and the surrounding area. The ricotta cream desserts are especially noteworthy, as they are undeniably high-quality and fresh. Sure, the place could use some updating, which might put off many, but the products offered are undeniably high-quality. I'd also add that the prices are quite fair.

30/05/2026: We were recommended this place from our Airbnb host and went for a pre-dinner drink & appetiser. The staff were so friendly and locals dining outside helped us to order. It was a lovely local spot with great choices. We got the sharing platter of meats & cheeses as well as wine and it was 10/10. A lovely hidden gem away from the busy tourist streets. Don’t miss on your next trip to Palermo!

28/05/2026: My experience at Pasqualino's was, all things considered, rather negative. Many people recommended it to me, especially for the quality of the food, so I assume it's recently deteriorated significantly. I ordered the mixed meat platter and side dishes. The salad was pre-packaged, the grilled vegetables pre-cooked and poorly reheated. Ditto for the baked potatoes, which were also raw. The pieces of meat were similarly mostly reheated, probably from lunch. In particular, the breaded veal rolls were as hard as the table. The bread was also stale and poorly reheated (but in this case, burned). The service was decent because it was fast, but rather impersonal and rushed. The outdoor patio and the central location are commendable, even though there are still noisy cars driving by. If it weren't for the small table where we dined, which was perfect for creating an intimate atmosphere, I would have given it one star. For €20, perhaps I couldn't have expected better, but at this point I'll go to McDonald's. Maybe they're better at sandwiches and flatbreads.

10/10/2025: Granita was on my list — and what can I say… maybe the combo of brioche and gelato just isn’t for me. The ice cream was amazing, but the brioche — not so much. If I came back, I’d definitely go for just the pistachio gelato.

09/10/2025: A normal, enjoyable place. The locals call it "Da Mimmo." It has a lovely outdoor terrace, perfect for the warmer months. Its specialty? Its taralli, imported directly from Puglia: fennel and raisins. Outstanding.

25/03/2026: I'm giving one star because zero isn't possible! Rude and ill-mannered, perhaps the guy at the cash register could have saved him. I advise the owner to train the staff to be KIND. I asked if a glass of white wine was possible, and they replied, "If you pay for everything, it's possible." I won't go into detail, but it's better.

03/04/2026: It was ok, but everyone had recommened this place so I had quite high expectations. The service was quite slow, the cocktails average and the waiters were smoking by the door with the door open so the smoke came all in our faces and we had to move to another table because we couldn't stop coughing and sneezing. They noticed but didn't seem to care. Still not a bad place, just not my jam.

29/03/2026: Excellent vegan aperitivo, finally something different from the usual: original, tasty, and anything but ordinary dishes. The portions are generous, and you'll leave feeling full. Price between €18 and €20, including a drink. Recommended!

26/09/2025: We discovered this place by chance, after asking for a recommendation from someone we stopped on the street. We thought we'd just stop for a sandwich, but the discovery of a welcoming interior made us want to have a more substantial break. What can we say, it couldn't have been better! The owners were extremely friendly and attentive and made us feel welcome right away. Excellent ingredients, delicious fresh pasta, and so was the bread. The atmosphere was welcoming, fresh, and spotlessly clean. Thanks for a relaxing lunch break. Highly recommended.

01/04/2026: Great pub setting for drinks, food and activities including dance and sports on tv. Very attentive but laid back staff and good service. The snacks and appetizers are great, and the primi plates and very good. This is not a go-to place for meet in Politeama/Libertà.

03/05/2026: The Espresso Con Panna is served warm and is so delicious. I also really liked the pizza because the crust was thick. This place is a real pastry and croissant hotspot!! It was so great that they open early in the morning! I highly recommend it!
