27/04/2026: Being a tourist, they saw us coming and we got ripped off!, surrounding stores aperol spritz 3-4 euro each, these guys charged us 9euro each. No point complaining at the counter, just easier to give them a bad review here for others to see and hopefully they pull the head in one they see our review. Shame on the business for taking advantage, it makes tourists like us second think about holidaying in places like this. You are ruining for your future

17/05/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times and it's always been an excellent choice! The menu is varied, the food is excellent, and the portions are generous. The service is professional, the wine list is extensive, and the atmosphere is lovely. A special thanks to Nicolò, who was discreet and professional, and who served us with courtesy, kindness, and friendliness.

13/05/2026: Dinner with friends at a restaurant right in the city center. After a short wait, we were escorted to a large covered dining room. The menu was very interesting. I ordered a tagliata (a thin slice of meat) and my wife a fried fish. This is where the problems began. It arrived limp, greasy, and not crispy. My wife sent it back, and the only response was an employee who asked what was wrong. When I explained the problem, he objected that we weren't familiar with "Sicilian breading" and other such trivia. Instead, they were served a ridiculous tagliata (a thin slice of potato with meat). A terrible experience.

01/06/2026: Great restaurant, very helpful and welcoming. Amazing food . My partner is egg intolerant and we ordered a meal without noticing that it was based in egg, once we explained to them , pietro was so understanding that he made a new meal for my partner. This was our mistake as we didn’t notice the egg sign on the menu. Would highly recommend this restaurant in Palermo , Italy.

27/05/2026: Excellent Italian cuisine! The tonarelli all vongole with lemons was excellent!! As was the starter: the Sicilian caponata with buffalo mozzarella from Campania – I highly recommend it!

03/06/2026: Watching the various videos on Tik Tok, which I find very well made and inviting, I become curious to try the products of this place. I go to this pastry shop to consume something but find a completely different situation. After eating a cannolo and a donut, I can say that the products are of mediocre quality, in addition to the fact that the counter staff are completely disorganized in total confusion, while the place was frequented by few people. I dare not imagine at more crowded times, I expected much better.

31/05/2026: This morning (Sunday) I went to Bar Scimone in Mondello Valdesi, one of the most historic and important establishments on the coast, with another person for breakfast. We issued the standard receipt for a croissant and coffee. At the counter, with the coffee already served, I asked for a little milk foam, something that is absolutely free in the vast majority of bars (which is why I hadn't issued a receipt in advance). The waiter explained that there was a surcharge there. Without any argument, I asked if he could stain it immediately so the coffee wouldn't get cold, specifying that I would go to the cashier a moment later to pay the difference. At that point, the situation became surreal and deeply humiliating. The owner of the bar, Mr. CARMELO SCIMONE, intervened directly and, visibly annoyed and in front of a crowded place, began yelling at me and especially at the person with me, "a Brazilian man." He verbally attacked us in an unacceptable tone, yelling that we were there "to have fun" while his staff (specifying that they are all non-EU foreigners) were there "to work," literally kicking us out of the place. Making such a comparison and suffering such violent public humiliation for a drop of milk (which I was perfectly willing to pay for) is truly shameful and unspeakable discrimination. From such a historic and important name in Mondello, one would expect a very high level of civility, inclusion, and professionalism; to receive this treatment from the very person who runs the business is deplorable. We will never set foot in there again. Absolutely avoid this place.

23/05/2026: We dined at Flamingo for the first time and were truly delighted. The restaurant is well-kept, welcoming, and charming, perfect for both a quiet dinner and an evening with friends. The staff was extremely kind and helpful throughout the evening, making us feel immediately at ease. The real highlight, however, was the food: everything we ordered was truly delicious, carefully prepared with quality ingredients. An absolutely positive experience in every way. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for good food in Bagheria.

16/04/2026: Hotel Review – Location right in the heart of the Ballarò Market, Palermo *Good* - *Cleanliness*: Both rooms were impeccably clean. Full marks. - *Restaurant*: Outstanding, truly Michelin-star quality. Service, friendliness, team – everything was extremely courteous, charming, and service-oriented. Every dish we tried was flawless in both taste and presentation. The restaurant alone is worth a visit. - *Bed in Room 1*: Large and very comfortable. - *Room 1 Amenities*: Two bathrooms with toilets and showers, plus a freestanding bathtub in the bedroom, and two TVs. - *Service during room exchange and check-out*: Very friendly and competent staff member. Extremely helpful. - *Luggage storage*: Luggage storage was offered while waiting for the room to be ready. - *Size of Room 2*: Spacious. - *For my needs*: It was perfectly adequate for my needs. I'm very easygoing about this. *Bad* - *Location*: Right next to the Ballarò Market. Extremely loud and dirty. Construction sites everywhere, jackhammers all day long. No vacation atmosphere whatsoever. The views from the rooms are nothing but renovations and construction noise. - *Noise in Room 1*: Located directly in the courtyard. Restaurant patrons sit just 1 meter from the room door. A compressor behind the bed kept switching on all night – as loud as an air compressor next to your pillow. Sleep was impossible. - *Technology in Room 1*: Flickering lights, probably 20 different switches, transformer noises, until eventually nothing worked at all. - *Smell in Room 1*: It smelled musty. We had to empty the dehumidifier in the room three times in one night. - *Building Condition in Room 1*: Questionable. - *Room 2*: Extremely small bathroom, no bathtub. Dirty balcony. A less expensive room category below the suite would have even included a whirlpool, which we had actually expected with the suite. - *Check-in service*: The employee seemed arrogant, lacked charisma, no smile, and was neither charming nor service-oriented. No explanation was given about the room. The concierge did not offer the woman assistance with her luggage. There was also no greeting in the restaurant in the evening. - *Value for money*: €774.85 for 3 nights in a 4-star hotel. For that price, we had construction noise, technical problems, and a musty smell on the first night.

14/04/2026: A lovely and very quiet hotel right in the city center. We had a simply furnished room and the breakfast was adequate. The building itself is very nice and the staff was friendly. Great location.

21/05/2026: Historic pastry shop and rotisserie in Palermo... unsurpassed arancini and skewers... with a little more I'd give it 5 stars.

05/06/2026: Over the years, this pizzeria has earned a reputation for its Greek sandwiches, a recipe left behind by the previous owner, who sadly passed away. The new owners have successfully exploited this tradition and continued the business with wisdom and humility. They have capitalized on the legacy left by this simple yet great pizza chef. The new pizza chefs, two brothers who work closely together, are equally talented. They have managed to grow The Blues pizzeria through their management and hard work. In fact, they now offer outdoor seating with service, and they have opened a space for the sale of roast chickens, complete with everything needed for preparation and consumption. I can add that the pizzeria, which I already knew before, has improved significantly. These new owners, who are family-run, have proven to be a close-knit and hard-working team, producing excellent results, even for pizzas other than Greek sandwiches, with top-quality, reliable products. For me, a longtime customer, The Blues is the perfect place to grab a pizza or Greek sandwich. It's always a perfect match for the pizzeria, especially their signature Greek sandwich.

06/06/2026: A truly unpleasant experience at the San Lorenzo Market. There were three of us and we sat at a completely empty table, when a girl immediately came over to tell us we had to get up because we hadn't spent €8 each at the wine bar. I find it absurd that you have to spend €24 on alcohol to sit down, especially considering we're all teetotalers. In all the years we've been frequenting the market, something like this has never happened to us. We won't be returning. The girls were way too rude.

02/05/2026: One of the best pastry shops in the area, with the freshest ingredients and wonderful cakes. Also excellent as a café for quick breakfasts and lunches. Recommended. I've been back (for the umpteenth time 😅) to try the realistic fruit: truly delicious, a delight for the palate.

29/04/2026: Wandering the streets of Palermo, near the Barbera Stadium, I found this pastry shop. It offers fresh croissants and a delicious hot plate, offering a wide variety of classic and modern flavors. It also offers good coffee, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. A very friendly and beautiful young woman with long black hair served the food professionally and kindly. I highly recommend it!
