Pizzeria Pizzottando In Palermo

Great atmosphere, delicious food (the tiramisu was to die for) and the waiters were very friendly and attentive 🥰

We were late getting back to Palermo after a beach day and craving pizza.... Google maps prescribed Pizzottando. We ordered two of the simplest classic pizzas on the menu because thats what we fancied and let's face it there's nowhere to hide with a margheritta - if you can't do that well you're not doing anything well. Let me tell you that these guys do pizza very very well! Tonight's pizza's were probably the best we have had in Italy (including Napoli). Very friendly staff and a great buzz about the place.

Really good pizzeria! There are many choices of pizza flavour and the food is really good! The tables are in a piazza looking over a church so it’s such a nice ambiance in the evening. We ate there one night and had pizza takeaway the next night. The service is quick and good.

Despite its location in a square undergoing renovation, despite a run-down neighborhood with trash on every corner and buildings that seem to be falling apart, this small pizzeria is an outpost of civility, courtesy, and goodness. Excellent pizza, excellent service, reasonable prices, and extremely friendly staff. I would only ask the city administration to remove the garbage more quickly, also to protect the businesses that try to make Palermo look like what it is: a wonderful city that deserves more respect.

Large, affordable, and delicious pizza! Very friendly owners. Currently, the entire area in front of the pizzeria is a major construction site, hence the less-than-ideal atmosphere. We took the pizza to go 😊

The pizza dough was excellent, delicious because it was thin and crispy, and also very digestible. It didn't leave me feeling bloated, and I never felt thirsty afterwards, which is not a given. I'm vegan, and even though they didn't have vegan options on the menu, they went out of their way to create a pizza with all the delicious ingredients, free from any animal products. Francesco was super helpful in suggesting pairings, and Giovanna, the woman who took our order, was a force of nature: kind, friendly, and patient <3. Excellent prices for a quality superior to most pizzerias in Palermo.
