27/06/2025: Beautiful experience at Seggio. Excellent appetizers, exquisite potato croquettes as well as panelle both prepared by the chef. First choice meats accompanied by excellent baked potatoes. I absolutely must return to try everything else. Unfortunately I did not take photos but the location is characteristic.

08/06/2025: Provo per la prima volta questo locale a pranzo con mia moglie, premetto che non sono mai venuto ma ne ho sempre sentito parlare. All'arrivo un'accoglienza meravigliosa, personale gentile e cortese, pulizia disarmante. In piatti accompagnati da ottimi vini del territorio erano buonissimi, il menù non è vasto ma gli. Ingredienti di altissima qualità con una combinazione di sapori e colori veramente spettacolari. Un plauso allo. Chef ed al titolare che si é presentato con grande cortesia e delicatezza ci ha fatto visitare il locale e la cantina. Siamo rimasti a bocca aperta per la bellezza. La prossima volta tornerò con amici per provare la pizza cotta nel forno a legna. Grazie per la confidenza.

09/08/2025: A place not far from the center, recommended by friends for dinner. We ordered two appetizers (hummus and fried food) and a burger to share, but the hummus lacked salt and oil, while the fried food was good. The sandwich was very heavy in my opinion. The chicken was breaded too thick, but overall it wasn't bad. The service, however, was very disorganized; we had to flag down three waiters for a bottle of water, and it arrived after the appetizers. The bill was even worse; we needed the receipt and table number to pay at the register, but there were also miscommunications between the waiters and perhaps too much noise. Overall, it wasn't a bad evening, but some things could be improved in my opinion.

03/08/2025: We ordered five pasta dishes, none of them were good. No taste, no flavor. Plus, the portions are very small considering the high price of the dishes. I ate shrimp pasta, there were four of them!

24/07/2025: The food was average, portions were small, and the presentation could be improved. When it came time to pay the bill, they had mixed up the bill with that of another table, and they threatened to overcharge us 8 euros if we hadn't checked.

27/07/2025: To say we ate well is an understatement! The food was excellent, high-quality, and beautifully cooked. The portions were generous compared to many other restaurants (after all, what can you expect when the chef is one of Cascino's masters?!). The place was clean and comfortable, not to mention the kindness of the staff and the owner. Highly recommended if you want to eat well and spend a couple of hours immersed in nature.

Excellent welcome .... you eat like a god, accompanied by good background music ..... acceptable price considering the quality of the dishes .... 22/07/2025: We were attracted by the aperitif served by two gentlemen who were sitting there. We sat down. We ordered an aperitif with snacks for €8 and a Fanta for €2.50, as stated on the price list. Incredibly slow, a 20-minute wait for a spritz and a Fanta. The final bill: €8, plus €2.80 for Fanta. I asked for an explanation about the Fanta, since it was €2.50. They replied with "It's the table service." What honest workers. Not recommended. In response to your reply: no one said we wanted the aperitif. I said it had attracted us. If it says €2.50, it's not a given that table service is charged. So even the €8 aperitif should have been €8.30. Disingenuous and ignorant, too.

18/07/2025: The bar is quite nice and in a great location. The breakfast is fresh and tasty. The service is lacking, as the few staff are always busy at the counter, and the prices are too high, especially if you're a tourist.

02/08/2025: I dined at this restaurant in the heart of Palermo and had a very positive experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, with a pleasant blend of Sicilian tradition and modern details. The staff was friendly and attentive. The menu offers typical Sicilian dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. The prices are in line with the quality and central location, just steps from the Teatro Massimo.

17/07/2025: Arrivando dalla Sardegna, quando il mio compagno della zona mi ha proposto di cenare in questo locale, avendoci mangiato molti anni fa, sono andata di impulso a vedere le recensioni, tante, di cui circa la metà non proprio positive. Anche se mi è saltato subito all' occhio che le recensioni positive erano molto elevate, quindi ho voluto dare fiducia. Premetto che Sferracavallo merita di essere visitata e la cena gustata con i dovuti tempi, eravamo preoccupati perché in alcune recensioni si faceva riferimento alla fretta dei camerieri nel voler liberare il tavolo...Smentisco assolutamente questo aspetto. Siamo arrivati per le 21 e con molta sorpresa devo ammettere che alle 21.05 già ci venivano servite le prime pietanze di antipasti a base di frittura di calamari e gamberi, insalata di polpo, sarde e alici, gamberi in salsa rosa, ostriche e cozze, tutto saporito, in abbondanza e freschissimo. Abbiamo assaporato tutto con calma, accompagnando il tutto con un ottimo vino della zona. I tre primi serviti successivamente ugualmente buonissimi: risotto con gamberetti e asparagi, spaghetti alle vongole (ottimi) e pasta tipica con un sugo a base di pesce, menta e finocchietto, molto particolare e saporito ( per palati sopraffini). Per non parlare dell' ottimo e fresco trancio di pesce spada alla griglia servito alla fine, accompagnato da uno spiedino di gamberi impastellati e panati, ugualmente molto particolari e saporiti. Devo ammettere che a scapito delle recensioni negative sono rimasta sbalordita dalla gentilezza del personale, ma dulcis in fundo alle h.22.15 il cameriere che porta in cucina le cassette di gamberi appena consegnati, freschi sotto ghiaccio ci ha lasciato veramente meravigliati, a conferma della freschezza dei prodotti utilizzati. Ottimi sapori e meravigliosi profumi del mare siciliano. Siamo andati via alle 23,00 più che sazi e soddisfatti per un menù degustazione di 35€, soldi spesi benissimo. Speriamo di riuscire a ritornarci presto.

16/07/2025: Every time I go to Palermo, Il Delfino in Sferracavallo is a must. The food is truly delicious! The menu is extensive: numerous appetizers, three first courses, a second course, sorbet, and wine... all for only €35 per person. The waiters are always kind and helpful, despite the large influx of customers that fills the restaurant every day. The price is more than fair for the quality and quantity of food offered. An authentic trattoria, where tradition and hospitality truly shine. Top marks!

05/08/2025: Loved this place. Ordered a pizza and a Pasta alla Norma, they were both delicious. Nice service and extremely fairly priced. We were offered a sip o limoncello. Very reccomended.

17/06/2025: We were craving pizza and Palino was the perfect place to come to. We started with Bruschette Secondo Palino, which was one of the best curated dishes we’ve had so far in Palermo, then we had the Parmagiano 2.0 pizza which was exceptional as well.

16/06/2025: We ate at the restaurant last night. The food was good, and the outdoor area was very cozy under beautiful trees. The service was also particularly good—the best we've had so far on our Italian vacation.
