09/10/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant on October 9th and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was just amazing — fresh seafood and delicious flavors all around. Perfect location, too. Highly recommend!

02/10/2025: Historic restaurant/pizzeria in the heart of Palermo. Unfortunately, the prices have become touristy. We still ate well, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We made a great impression on a guest from Messina.

01/11/2025: We spent a pleasant evening at Villa Mirto during a dinner with friends. We were greeted with great courtesy and professionalism by a knowledgeable and helpful staff, who made guests feel at home with a touch of friendliness that was never intrusive. The cuisine is excellent, with tasty dishes prepared with fresh, home-grown ingredients. The property is well-maintained and also features a playground and an outdoor pool, ideal for the summer season. We were completely satisfied with our experience: highly recommended!

26/09/2025: We were staying at the hotel next door and, too tired to go out, we stumbled upon Ameterra: a delightful surprise! The atmosphere was refined, the service impeccable, and the cuisine blended tradition and creativity. The dishes were impressive, but the desserts were the highlight: a super-crunchy almond parfait and a frothy tiramisu to remember.

09/11/2025: At Romano's, I can say I enjoyed it. My partner ate her usual pasta dishes. After a misunderstanding with the second course, which she'd order individually at other places (half carbonara and half cacio e pepe, but never forcing the other diner), we devoured pumpkin (I don't know if it was frozen), well-cooked without too much oil, mozzarella in carrozza, a delicious lamb chop (where foreigners looked at me askance because I ate with my hands), and...now it's your turn to try it. I love second courses, so I'll try new dishes again, always leaving the first courses to my better half. The price...could be better, but we're talking about unique cuisine. The downside...parking, 20 minutes of driving around, and we parked 1.5 km away, and we weren't sure if we had to pay for scratch cards (hard to find) on Saturdays. Otherwise, we were satisfied, and the staff was patient and helpful, even when we asked to take the rest of the dishes away.

03/11/2025: Great small restaurant a short way from Teatro Garibaldi, on a not-too-busy street corner. Nice outside seating and nice inside as well. Very good servers make sure you're happy throughout, but are not a nuisance. I had the delicious eponymous pasta dish (Tonnarelli Magna Roma) and an eponymous drink, the Spritz Magna Roma. Both were terrific and reasonably priced. The drink was somewhat darker and made me think of a Negroni Spritz (which I have not seen). The pasta was a more interesting variation on the carbonara, with mushrooms and crunchy artichoke slices. Very good! Another time I had tonnarelli pasta with zucchini, and it was delicious! Spicy accents of black pepper in the cheesy sauce, and wonderful grilled zucchini. And they are known for their Cacio e Pepe, a classic Roman dish that they do very well! Very pleasant and relaxing place. I'm a regular now!

09/11/2025: I've never received a stinking cuttlefish dish, immediately returned it, specifying the reason, and found it included in the bill for €30.00. I pointed out the lapse in style, with respect to fundamental rules that apply to restaurant relationships, but to no avail. I was met with a wall of arrogance and probably also ignorance regarding the aforementioned rules. I paid, hoping to never encounter such workers rescued from unemployment again.

05/11/2025: We celebrated my daughter's birthday once again. It's enough to mention the reservation: at my first mention, the response was "I'll say yes, call me tomorrow and we'll make the arrangements." Then, on site, as always, the staff were professional and the wait times were more than decent (on a Saturday, for 11 young people and 4 other guests at a separate table). Everyone, from the manager to the staff, was always helpful and pleasant. The atmosphere was pleasant, as always. The pizza was very good and easy to digest, as always. Thank you, and let's leave aside some of the scathing reviews.

The place was packed, with many people waiting: a sign that they really know their craft. A simple yet high-quality place, where you can breathe in the authentic Palermo atmosphere.

07/10/2025: We celebrated (half) my son's birthday at this place, at his recommendation, as he had been there before. After spending €150 for two appetizers, six pizzas, and six cans of drinks, we weren't allowed to open the bottle of non-alcoholic sparkling wine I had brought with me. So we celebrated his birthday at home, even bringing the cake back with us, something that had never happened at other places in the city.

13/09/2025: Inexperienced waiters, I would even say, they do not understand what is happening at all. When opening a bottle of prosecco, they flooded the entire room, they tried to wipe a huge puddle with my napkin, then took more napkins, but it did not help. We found a cleaner with a mop in about 10 minutes. The guys were not embarrassed by the situation, they just poured me the rest of the bottle. They do not have glasses for prosecco either. They brought side dishes before the main course in 20 minutes, the meat was indicated in the order and on the check 800 grams, but in reality it was about 300 minus the bone (100-150). The staff really does not understand the service. They never brought the change. I do not recommend this place.

08/09/2025: The ribs were juicy and delicious, my husband had the al magnum pizza and states it was delicious , music latino which gave us a nice atmosphere and the staff were very attentive and welcoming. Top notch, will definitely come back.

16/09/2025: The atmosphere is refined and surprising, with attentive service. The lunch menu is smaller, but still varied and good quality.

28/11/2025: For us, the best restaurant in all of Palermo! The food was outstanding – every dish perfectly seasoned and incredibly fresh. The service went far beyond the norm: attentive, warm, and absolutely professional. The atmosphere was simply magical and made the evening absolutely perfect. A special highlight: the bread, limoncello, and olive oil are all homemade – and you can taste the difference! Everything was incredibly delicious and prepared with so much love. Especially convenient: you can also take the food to go without compromising the quality. All in all, an experience that's hard to put into words – simply indescribably good. We will definitely be back and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant!

19/11/2025: The food was okay but nothing special, and the prices and coperto were quite high. The mussel soup wasn't very flavorful; I've had better. The water they swim in here lacks flavor. I would add more salt to the carbonara. The patate arrosto was quite good, but the price for potatoes, 8 euros, was outrageous.

04/11/2025: Perfect Simplicity by the Sea This restaurant was recommended to us by a Sicilian friend from Palermo, and it was a total success. We arrived early and were lucky enough to get a table with a spectacular sea view, like we were on a boat. The food was simple and delicious. I ordered spaghetti with seafood ricci di mare and devoured every last bit 🤤 authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. My husband had fish: beautiful presentation and impeccable quality. The place is simple and unpretentious, which makes it even more special. Later on, it gets busy, and the service becomes a little slow, but that's part of the charm, and it's completely worth it for the view and the quality of the food. We would return without hesitation. An authentic and delightful spot by the sea.

26/10/2025: I went to this restaurant by chance with my family. Very friendly welcome, very smiling and very kind waiter, I had never eaten so well in my life!!! And the sea view is just incredible!! I recommend it!!
