02/08/2024: Embarrassing... That's the only word! In the description fish speciality... But more than poor quality. We took a roasted octopus on potato cream... Frozen octopus... Plus with peppers on top as decoration which were not mentioned on the menu and I'm allergic... And a mussel marinade (terrible!) with mussels very low quality and not local or well made, which smelled and passed away... We paid without making a fuss... I hope I don't end up in the emergency medical service... Not recommended, obviously!

25/08/2024: Note that the staff is friendly and attentive. The granitas are quite good and the Brioche are average, that is, delicious. Why do I put 3 stars? Everything is served in plastic cups, there is no type of awareness about the environment. Even if you take your clean glass, they don't put it there. Far from giving a bad rating, I invite you to think that 1 plastic cup used for 10 minutes takes many hundreds of years to degrade, even if it is compostable. I don't see awareness of this, the truth is neither here nor in the rest of Sicily. I would recommend serving the granita in glass when you eat it on site. Otherwise, it is a place frequented by many people, just a stone's throw from the sea (a gift from nature with a wonderful landscape, but worryingly contaminated by plastics of all shapes and colors wherever you look). I emphasize that the people who work are friendly.

10/08/2024: Small place but they make exceptional ice creams with very particular flavours. If you go to Torre Faro I recommend you pay them a visit.

17/06/2024: During our university days we often went, I don't know if the place has been enlarged and renovated. But I remember we ate very well, especially the pizza was excellent. Quality, courtesy, professionalism and friendliness.👍

21/08/2024: One star because you can't do less, and I'll start by saying that even in mediocre places I don't leave negative reviews, I really don't like speaking badly about a restaurant. Here, however, we have really exceeded certain limits. I'll cut it short, we arrived and asked for the menu, to which we were told that the menu doesn't exist, the various proposals were listed, ONLY after asking. We take an octopus salad and two first courses. The octopus salad arrives INSTANTLY, and it would have been a good thing, if it hadn't been disgusting, since the octopus was rubber (fresh fish a couple of p**les), justified with "eh the fresh octopus still has its strong nerves." Obviously 3/4 pieces of octopus were enough for the appetizer, and then it was left, the first courses arrived and here I must say they weren't disgusting, but not even worth spending nice words about because between the cuttlefish crumbs and the shrimp present in the two dishes everything was far from fresh, only frozen fish. We arrive at the bill where I would have honestly expected to at least not pay for that vile octopus salad, in any case I go to pay with a smile and say hello (not being greeted back or even looked at in the face, as I have seen in several reviews, it will be a habit bah) paying a fair price if it weren't for the fact that the quality of the food was really poor. I would like to further point out that this is the first negative review.

18/08/2024: A good place to eat fish is essential, they cook quite well, an excellent slice of pauro, a good fried fish with different types of fish, maybe some prawns and squid were missing, but excellently compensated by cuttlefish, perhaps worth seeing again. 'fish starter, lackluster, all in all a place worth trying, last but not least, impeccable and fast service. The only flaw is the location, from the eighties, but the quality of the food makes up for it.

19/08/2024: Pension in the heart of Furci Siculo, 100 meters from the beautiful seafront and spacious, well-kept beaches. Very friendly and welcoming owner and managers. I don't rate the rooms because I haven't seen them, we stayed in another property in Rina, a hamlet of Santa Teresa di Riva and the rooms are large and clean. Excellent breakfast with lots of fresh products. Advised

01/07/2024: Abbiamo cenato 2 sere in questa pizzeria/ristorante direttamente sulla spiaggia di Mongiove. Ottima la frittura di pesce, freschissima. Super la pizza, impasto favoloso, cotta nel forno a legna. Peccato che la nostra vacanza finisce domani, altrimenti saremmo tornati. Simpatico e cortese il personale del locale. Grazie dell'accoglienza.

19/08/2024: Saturday 08/17/2024, I make a phone call to the restaurant del sole and they tell me that they have a fixed fish menu, we arrive and the pseudo waiter tells me that they don't have a fixed menu, anyway we opt for the menu that the waiter told us ... They serve us the appetizer that is beautiful and nightmarish after I find a label inside a pseudo meatball, I call the waiter and tell him to inform the chef, he takes two forks and takes out the label and leaves , for the whole lunch he doesn't show up at the table again, you understand that an embarrassing situation has been created... So we taste the first course and ask the waiter to stop the second course because they didn't trust us anymore than they could happen, the waiter replies that the order couldn't be stopped now, they bring us the second one in a cardboard box, we kindly went to pay without saying anything... I will definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

04/08/2024: 11.20pm, we get on the Caronte. Cost of arancini: €3.50. We asked if it had been fried to gold. The answer was that we could always not take it and that these are the prices.
