If you want something a bit different from the run of the mill restaurants, fantastic combinations of flavours and a fine dining experience you must go to this restaurant. The whole experience was wonderful, the service was superb, the presentation of the food a work of art. Can’t recommend it enough, the best restaurant I have been to in Taormina.

21/03/2026: A charming and quaint place, attentive staff, and good food, all in the village of Milazzo... A welcoming and informal place. The only drawback is the parking, but you know, in certain places, that's quite obvious... But you can still park about 300 meters from the restaurant near the church of San Francesco da Paola. I'm not giving the food a 5⭐ just because I have to try other dishes first, but what we tasted was undoubtedly excellent quality. See you soon.

06/05/2026: The restaurant is very well-kept and the atmosphere is truly exceptional. The staff is extremely polite and professional. My girlfriend and I were greeted with kindness and a beautiful smile, and we also appreciated the advice on both the dishes and the wines. The fish carpaccio was simply amazing... a perfectly crafted combination of flavors, and the spaghetti with seaweed, anemones, and sea urchins didn't taste like the sea... it was THE sea! More than a dinner, it was an authentic experience, and I highly recommend everyone stop by to try the dishes, which, blending tradition and innovation, are sure to amaze you. 18/05/2026: I visited this trattoria with my husband, and from the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. The homemade pasta was delicious, and the dessert was truly spectacular. I highly recommend this place.

09/05/2026: Friendly staff as you enter the place you are enchanted by the explosion of Sicilianness, a truly nice, clean and well-kept environment. The sandwiches are exceptional, from the choice of bread with multiple options from the cereal sandwich to the black Venus rice with turmeric. The products from fish to shrimp and much more are top quality. I highly recommend it.. see you soon!!

05/05/2026: Wonderful and unique sandwiches - we got the shrimp and tuna panini and it was one of our favorite meals in Italy. The guys there were so sweet and the food was delicious. It was unique with fresh seafood, burrata and wonderful bread. We also got the limoncello spritz that was so great! Highly suggest as a stop if you’re in Messina, especially as a cruise guest.

22/02/2026: We got married in Lipari on October 4th. It was an intimate civil ceremony, with 25 guests in total. Following an excellent lunch and some excellent reviews, we chose Sangre Rojo restaurant for our celebration. Nunzia guided us through the lunch menu and table settings, respecting our desire for simplicity and suggesting what she felt would be appropriate, but also gently and firmly advising us against what she deemed unsuitable. The lunch went very well, and we won't waste time raving about the raw antipasti, the octopus and bean soup, the busiate pasta with anchovies and fennel, and the citrus-stuffed calamari, because they simply have to be tried (no more fuss). A special mention, however, goes to the panna cotta with freshly picked figs, which overcame the feeling of satiety in all (all!) of our guests. The view, with the Lipari coast stretching into the blue sea, did the rest. A huge thank you to Nunzia, her family, and all the staff for their kindness and professionalism! Highly recommended! 30/01/2026: I've been to dinner several times, accompanying guests from the boat I worked on... the restaurant is worth it in every way... the view, the welcome, the professional, attentive, and friendly service... the carefully prepared dishes of an innovative cuisine that still maintains Aeolian and Sicilian traditions... the well-stocked wine cellar. You can also start the evening by booking an aperitif while admiring a spectacular sunset. The guests were enthusiastic and satisfied. We warmly thank all the staff who made our evenings relaxing and, above all, cheerful, always capable of providing a smile. PS: Book in advance... it's a very popular place.

10/05/2026: The meat was of the highest quality and perfectly cooked! The owner and his staff were very kind, friendly, and thorough in explaining and advising us on both the meat and the wine. The citrus cream and rum biscuit dessert was delicious!

08/05/2026: Excellent experience, I found myself having lunch in this place by chance, quality meat, I had an exquisite Angus steak, generous portions and fair value for money, we felt welcomed with kindness and cordiality as if we were at home, highly recommended!
