21/07/2025: I've never been there in person but every year at Easter and Christmas I order panettone and colombe, recently I also tried the ricci, delicious, especially the pistachio ones, speaking of panettone and colombe I have to say that they are the best I've ever tried, they have a unique consistency, in my family we always compare them to cotton wool, the fragrance is unique and I can't imagine what it feels like to taste it fresh, the prices are a bit expensive but online somehow they always offer discounts or don't charge shipping so I've never really paid that much.

21/07/2025: Really, really good gelato, and the shop was quite busy, but it was definitely worth the wait!

19/07/2025: Excellent gourmet sandwich. The Wwagen van and the entire food court are distinctive. It's a shame the prices aren't listed on the menu.

04/08/2025: Our favourite meal in Sicily so far, loved it so much we went both nights we were in Agrigento!! Staff were lovely and very tolerant of our basic Italian. Over 2 nights we tried arancini, blue cheese and walnut risotto, tomato and seafood gnocchi, squid ink tagliolini with red prawn, veal with green pepper sauce, tiramisu and cannoli- all of which were incredible. Wines were very good, we particularly liked the Sicilian sparkling rosé. Beautiful setting in a courtyard just off the main street Via Atenea. Very reasonable prices for the quality. Grazie Mille, we will be back!

03/08/2025: Do you see the pistachio? Me neither, even though I ordered pistachio pasta. The setting is pleasant, but the pasta is overcooked, flavorless, and overpriced. Regarding the service, we asked for olive oil, which we never received (even though the restaurant was empty, it's not like the server was overwhelmed). The POS terminal is prehistoric, so I had to pay in cash, and the lady forgot to give me €5 back, so I had to remind her. In short, avoid it!

13/08/2025: Costa's is a lovely discovery. It's a restaurant/pizzeria located in an easily accessible location, with convenient parking, and above all, good food. It offers just the right amount of choice, both in terms of pizza and food. The quality/price ratio is excellent, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I've always ordered pizza because I consider it to be good quality: light dough, not heavy, medium-thick crust, well-cooked and not burnt, with balanced toppings that highlight every single flavor. PS. I've never tried the first or second courses, so I don't know if the quality is still high there, but it's definitely worth a try! I don't have a photo to attach because I was hungry when it arrived and ate it right away... 😇

28/07/2025: Delicious pizza, super cozy atmosphere, and truly friendly and helpful staff! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great, and you feel right at home. One of those pizzerias you'll want to return to and recommend to everyone.

27/07/2025: I recommend stopping in Canicattì and stopping at the Parnaso café to enjoy gratins, croissants (filled freshly with their products), ice cream, and much more. Everything is artisanal and top-quality. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the location is truly unique.

12/08/2025: A total disappointment. I came here after seeing the positive reviews and the awards, and we ordered several pieces of the rotisserie: a small Primavera triangle (which had the toppings concentrated in the center and was otherwise bread); a slice of Margherita pizza (unfortunately, to be honest, it was on par with the ones I get at kebab shops in Rome, nothing special, just to stave off hunger), and a mignolata. This last one is supposed to be an Agrigento specialty, and I believe they've even won awards. I tasted it and spat it out: it was completely raw in the center, meaning there was just the soft, raw dough!!!!!! Eating yeast like that is absurd and unhealthy...

29/07/2025: We had dinner this evening in a very elegant restaurant, with friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable staff. The food was excellent and the prices were fair! For my first evening, I dined in a place where everything was taken care of down to the last detail, where the quality of the fish was excellent, and the prices were fair, unlike many places in Sicily where it's all about over-exploitation of tourists, without even considering the quality! Highly recommended!

12/07/2025: Agriturismo immersed in very suggestive greenery and with a breathtaking view of Agrigento, excellent food, very clean and spacious rooms excellent, there is also a small field to play and a playground suitable for families I recommend it, excellent staff

10/07/2025: We stayed at this agriturismo for two nights. The rooms were very nice, clean, and fresh. The staff was very helpful and friendly. On our last night, we decided to stay for dinner, and we couldn't have made a better choice. We ordered three appetizers: Mazara del Vallo shrimp carpaccio, grilled octopus, and breaded burrata. We couldn't decide which dish we liked best. We then had the shrimp calamarata and the tuna steak, both phenomenal. Throughout the meal, we enjoyed a wonderful musical performance. Excellent value for money, and the service was very competent and cheerful. Highly recommended!

17/08/2025: The owner uses a very specific technique: He comes to the table with the menu and then, as if he remembered it at that moment, mentions that there are some dishes off the menu, like "Spaghetti with clams." Obviously, the customer chooses this dish because it's less elaborate than the others on the menu and is left feeling drained when it comes to paying. The dish costs €25, an exorbitant price that, moreover, doesn't reflect the quality; the dish looks good, but the clams are completely cold and the spaghetti is too oily. In all fairness, it must also be said that the appetizer, "Red shrimp tartar with pineapple," was delicious. Upon leaving the restaurant, we had to order a lemon granita to degrease and remove the heavy feeling left by the spaghetti. An experience not to be repeated.

24/06/2025: Try the specialty of this place,the minni di vergini. Be advised there after that you won't be hungry for a while but worth the calories ;). Coffee here was also exceptionally good and the owner super friendly. According to the diploma that was hanging there the ice cream he sells is home made. It looked great but we were not able to eat more.

02/07/2025: Bed and breakfast accommodation. Savory/sweet breakfast. Juice, still water, and coffee. The restaurant adjacent to the rooms has a beautiful terrace with orange and lemon trees, etc. A bonus for those who don't want to move around in the evening. Very friendly host. He welcomed us warmly and explained what to see in the area.

29/06/2025: Excellent restaurant and accommodations. The rooms are super clean, and both are excellent. The restaurant is excellent and offers good local cuisine. Special mention goes to Giovana's very friendly service. Breakfast is also well-served. I recommend it.
