09/06/2025: Proprietaria scortese e maleducata, con la scusa dell arrotondamento alla cassa vi faranno pagare di più , mai successa una cosa simile in un ristorante, a Catania ci sono tantissimi ristoranti e locali evitate assolutamente di frequentare posti simili, ristorante poco consigliato.

04/06/2025: Unsealed water, filled by them in bottles, with crumbs inside, maybe bread or white residue. Too bad I didn't take a photo. Salty bill. A theft and disappointment.

11/05/2025: If you order 2 spritzes the waiter dishonestly imposes a plate of small salty toasts that you did not order and your aperitif goes from 12€ for 2 people to 24€, it is scandalous, seeing this we went to dinner in another restaurant.

Personale sorridente e attento alle necessità del cliente. Buona scelta di vini. Cibo ottimo e sfizioso. Raccomando la frittura di pesce …e il panino con il pesce spada! Delizioso il cannolo. Insomma una bella mangiata senza sorprese…alla cassa

01/06/2025: Excellent lunch at the restaurant upstairs. Excellent raw fish and good cooked appetizers: for me the fish parmigiana was spectacular. As a first course I enjoyed the paccheri with Trapani pesto and swordfish: really good and special. I also tried the shellfish paccheri with citrus fruits and I must say that the flavor was not bad. Balanced bill for the quality and quantity.

31/05/2025: So disappointing! I don’t understand the positive reviews here and wonder if the restaurant has changed ownership recently - although it’s notable that many of the 5 star reviews are from local guides… One of our party ordered grilled octopus, which was burnt and clearly not fresh (it smelled off). My seafood risotto was so bad; the rice was undercooked and the mussels were unopened, indicating they were old and unsafe to eat. Even the bread rolls were stale! We also ordered calamari, which was edible but seriously mediocre. We left most of the food on the table and left - something I have rarely done in my life. I hate giving negative reviews but, given how poor our experience was, I’d have to advise people to avoid this place.

04/06/2025: I have been to the Re del Sole and I must say that the experience was truly fantastic! The structure is well-kept, the atmosphere relaxing and the sea splendid… but the real credit goes to the lifeguard. Always present, polite and attentive to everything that happens on the beach. He doesn't just "make an appearance", but works with passion: he checks the bathers with discretion, helps with the sunbeds, chats pleasantly and manages to make everyone feel at ease, from children to the elderly. It is rare to find someone so professional and friendly at the same time. Congratulations indeed - he is the true Re del Sole!

03/01/2025: Ordinato 1 aperitivo alla frutta analcolico e 1 spritz classico alla fine chiedo un bicchiere di acqua per ingoiare una compressa e portano 1 bottiglia di acqua piccola, quando si altri tavoli vi erano brocche di acqua. Pagato 43 Euro.

16/09/2024: In cerca di un posto nuovo nel quale degustare un aperitivo, seguendo alcune raccomandazioni, abbiamo provato il DOP, ubicato a Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto. Siamo stati immediatamente colpiti dalla pulizia e solarità dell'ambiente, oltre che dall'attenzione e cortesia dello staff e dalla gradevole brandizzazione del tovagliato. Letizia ha scelto uno Spritz, mentre io ho bevuto un Americano, accompagnati da un tagliere composto da salumi, formaggi e un misto di finger food caldo e freddo. Le materie prime erano tutte freschissime e di prima scelta e le porzioni perfette per un apericena che riempia, ma senza strafare. Grazie a tutti per l'esperienza positiva, che raccomandiamo vivamente.

09/09/2024: Ci hanno accolti con un bel tavolo nonostante avessimo chiamato all’ultimo momento e il locale fosse pieno. Tutto il personale molto gentile. Buoni i piatti di terra e medio bassi i prezzi. Vorrei tornare per provare la pizza.

29/07/2024: Il Locale carino e ha una ampia veranda, il personale gentile e attento, pizze buone e prezzi nella media. Anche la trattoria è molto buona, È stata una piacevole esperienza anche se quando abbiamo chiesto dell'olio ci hanno portato dell'olio in bustine, quello industriale per interdeci, proveniente dalla Unione europea. Col tantissimo olio buono che abbiano nelle nostre zone questo non lo accetto, infatti alla fine non ne ho usato. Comunque è un locale che consiglio.

28/05/2025: Siamo stati guidati dal prezioso Paolo per questa buonissima cena di stasera. La caponata deliziosa è imperdibile, un gusto unico con prodotti locali freschi e ricchi di sapore. Che dire delle tagliatelle all'ancora, pesce fresco condito con pomodorino. Ci torneremo presto.

22/05/2025: Bella scoperta vicino al resort domina Zagarella, per alternare ai ristoranti dell’hotel. Ottimo tartare di tonno, in particolare ma tutto buono. Buon servizio veloce, gentili tutti. Torneremo.
