23/09/2025: A marvel!!! We took a trip to Sicily looking for, among other things, the best pasta dish, and we found what we were looking for right in the heart of the island. Many times, in movies that talk about Italian cuisine, a cozy, family-friendly and homely restaurant is shown where the protagonists meet a lady who cooks and delights with food, because it really exists! From now on, we love Maria not only for cooking us extraordinary dishes (we repeated several days), but also because she told us many things about the island and life. Thank you very much and see you soon, friend!

21/10/2025: For me, the island of Stromboli is incredibly interesting. Swimming on the pleasant black sand in the warm sea (early October) with the volcano in the background made a strong impression on me. The town of Stromboli is unique, with narrow, walled streets, along which Piaggio tricycles travel at high speeds – both for goods and passengers. The lack of cars is a charm. From the volcano's viewpoint (290 meters above sea level), you can also catch a beautiful sunset.

30/09/2025: Absolutely enchanting and romantic location. The food was okay, but the location is included in the price, so expect to pay a lot more than in Sicily.

10/10/2025: Granita was on my list — and what can I say… maybe the combo of brioche and gelato just isn’t for me. The ice cream was amazing, but the brioche — not so much. If I came back, I’d definitely go for just the pistachio gelato.

22/10/2025: Excellent, welcoming place. The owner is very friendly and approachable. The appetizers are excellent, especially the focaccia (I recommend them). The staff is very kind and friendly. The pizzas are well-seasoned. Compliments to the pizza chefs. I recommend the delicious country pizza.

27/09/2025: This is a historic pizzeria. Growing up in the area, it's a go-to place for me, and a guarantee for good pizza. My sincerest compliments to the entire staff. The owner is incredibly kind.

11/06/2025: Been there with my family to visit the "fattojo", i. e., the place where they show how to make the chocolate from bean to bar. The visit was worth the trip: the two ladies showed us the the process of making the real Modica chocolate, explaining also how to roast, peel and grind the beans...interleaving the experience with sweet treats, from the cold chocolate to the chocolate flavored spirit at the end. Definitely worth visiting!

01/05/2025: Sempre perennemente affollata. Impossibile provare il cioccolato, ma, data la calca di turisti, deve essere acquistato tutto a scatola chiusa. Le tavolette da 50gr vanno approssimativamente dai €2,80 ai €4,40. I tour esperienziali devono essere necessariamente prenotati in anticipo. Buona la cioccolata fredda a €3,50 e la cassatina al pistacchio a €5,50.

01/09/2025: Good granita, well-kept place, but too long a wait, 40 minutes to get the granita, very kind staff, but in the dining room there is only one "very good" girl who runs around doing everything, taking orders, clearing the table, serving at the tables, cash register...

03/11/2025: Friendly service, excellent Indian ramen, delicately seasoned with a pleasant spiciness, attractively presented, generous portions, served with fresh bread. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

29/10/2025: On Saturday evening, I returned to this restaurant, where I'd been several times in the past, and where I'd even brought friends, because I'd always enjoyed it. I hadn't been back for about a year, but unfortunately, this time the experience wasn't as positive as the previous ones. We ordered a €13 appetizer, steamed buns: there were only three of them, very small, and for two people, frankly, a bit disappointing, especially considering the price. For the main course, I ordered Pho soup, which unfortunately arrived lukewarm, almost cold, and I wasn't convinced by the taste, although it may simply have been out of my taste. What struck me most, however, was the service: we waited about an hour for the food to arrive, and there were only two people in the dining room, a woman and a man who seemed to be on probation. Throughout the evening, I noticed a rather tense atmosphere, especially given the way the woman addressed her colleague and the customers. In fact, a foreign customer complained about her dish, and immediately after leaving the restaurant, the waitress began making loud comments about the incident in a truly unprofessional manner. I hadn't intended to leave a review, but after this experience, I became curious and read the negative comments on Google: I noticed that management's responses to dissatisfied customers are often very aggressive, which unfortunately confirms the impression I had of a certain difficulty accepting criticism. I'm sorry to write such a review, because I've had good experiences there in the past, but honestly, this time I was disappointed and I don't think I'll be back anytime soon.

16/09/2025: We passed by here on our way to our hotel, and stopped for something to eat. We had roast chicken, and the owner gave us a complimentary 66cl beer. The chicken came with fries, mignon, and roast potatoes. Huge portions of side dishes. Price: €14. Good chicken, excellent side dishes.

13/09/2025: The pizza was very good, made with top-quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. The chicken was also very good, and the freshly cut fries deserve a special mention.

16/10/2025: Terrible experience. The food was definitely too small in quantity and too expensive for the first course (€18). I'll look at the waiters' behavior, especially the one who took our order. We ordered two pasta dishes with seafood on a bed of creamed fava beans. They served us a half portion of risotto with the same sauce as the pasta we ordered. When we complained about the dish we ordered, the waiter said it was exactly what they were serving. We asked for the menu again, and surprisingly, it said pasta. Then, apologies for excuses and a small discount instead of €42, €35. Unprofessional, 1000 liars. I hope this review of mine gets published.

10/10/2025: A fantastic, quiet place, easy to navigate, very simple, and the food is fantastic. I recommend it because the prices are really competitive, even low. The tiramisu is first-class. The pasta is also excellent.
