20/06/2025: Ciao a tutti, a Stintino abbiamo cenato presso la Trattoria OPERA VIVA, sita vicino alla Piazza del Municipio. Locale ampio, con deor esterno coperto e arieggiato, tavoli ben disposti, personale cortese e preparato, pronto a soddisfare le tue richieste. Ottimo il menu offerto. Noi abbiamo scelto un formaggio alla brace come antipasto, che era o caprino o di latte vaccino cotto alla brace in due strati di pane carasao, veramente eccellente, poi un piatto di spaghetti allo scoglio con il pescato del giorno e un fantastico fritto misto. Il tutto accompagnato da un’ottima Icnusa non filtrata e acqua. Alla fine un dolce tipico sardo. Se vi trovate a Stintino, telefonate e prenotate un tavolo, ne rimarrete decisamente soddisfatti. 12/06/2025: The food isn't exceptional enough to make you come back. We also ordered pizzas, and butter knives made it impossible to cut them. We asked for other knives, and one of the waitresses ran off. Another waiter told us they were the only ones they had. A pizzeria without knives or pizza cutters? Ridiculous. The atmosphere is quite unpleasant. Waitresses walk very abruptly, like headless chickens, just staring all the time and wandering around like crazy. On the other hand, people who arrive without a reservation and decide to wait do so on the stairs, so you're constantly being watched, which is really unpleasant. You don't have any space to eat in peace. I got the feeling that all or almost all of them were new and very lost, lacking in customer service manners. Would I go back? No. Do I recommend it? No.

11/06/2025: The place, it must be said, looks good: clean, tidy, with a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the aesthetic aspect is the only really positive point of the evening. The service was disappointing in many ways. The waiters – present in adequate numbers, at least four – turned out to be inattentive and poorly prepared. If you entrust only one person with the task of taking orders, it is essential that this person is competent. Hearing that an unfiltered Ichnusa is “equal to a Weiss” is truly perplexing: it is a gross oversight that, in a restaurant, should not happen. Our table was ignored for long stretches: the dishes remained in front of us for an excessive amount of time, and we had to ask ourselves for the coffees to arrive. In general, the impression was that of an improvised service, with little attention to the customer experience. And let's come to the prices: totally disproportionate. I understand the price increases, I understand the seasonal costs and the increase in raw materials. But asking 14 or 15 euros for an absolutely average pizza - nothing special either in terms of ingredients or preparation - is unacceptable in my opinion. At these prices, the minimum is to offer a service that is up to par, and a product that stands out. I often go to restaurants and I am happy to spend for a quality experience. Unfortunately, in this case, the predominant feeling was that of being taken for a ride.

24/06/2025: An authentic Sardinian culinary experience at Griglieria / Braceria Sa Braja! We had lunch here and everything was simply outstanding. I started with grilled calamari – perfectly cooked, tender, and full of fresh, natural flavor. Then came the octopus in a tomato and peperoncino sauce, which was rich, slightly spicy, and incredibly satisfying. A true taste of traditional Sardinian cooking. To finish, I tried a local cheese-based dessert that was both simple and delicious, with a creamy texture and a subtle, authentic flavor. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere cozy and inviting. A perfect lunch spot for anyone wanting to discover the genuine flavors of Sardinia. Highly recommended!

22/06/2025: Very nice and welcoming place. We ate in the beautiful garden welcomed by very friendly staff. We took 2 appetizers: fish balls and mussels; both very good. As a main course we took 1 grilled sea bream each. Sea bream very good! Perhaps the only very small flaw, concerns the fact that if it had already been deboned it would have been an even tastier dish. Apart from this however the fish was very fresh and very good. The only strong complaint.... concerned the fact that to dress the salad they brought a sachet of oil which surprised us a lot! Sardinia is a land of olive trees, a bottled oil rather than a sachet would have been much preferable..... shame. For the rest, it is definitely a place to try
