Pizzeria Griglieria le Tonnare In Stintino

We had an excellent experience at II Portico Ristorante Pizzeria. We booked online, which was especially convenient as only a few of the restaurants we looked at in Sardinia offered online reservations. The communication was also excellent: our reservation was confirmed through WhatsApp, and then confirmed again on the day of our booking at 5 pm. We really appreciated that level of clarity and communication. The food was excellent, and all four of us were very happy with our meals, including our two children. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive, making sure that our orders were taken accurately. Everyone we interacted with also spoke English, which made the experience very easy and comfortable for non Italian speakers. The food, service and location were all excellent. We would happily return and would absolutely recommend II Portico Ristorante Pizzeria to others visiting the area.

It's been a while since I've been crazy about a bowl of mussels and clams. The taste and ingredients were exceptional, and then I continued with a perfect fried calamari... My compliments for everything: service, location, and chef. Highly recommended.

We arrived without a reservation and were offered a table immediately, but we were very close to the wall and it was quite hot. The service was quick, although a little awkward, as we felt like they were in a hurry.

We ate here for dinner. We ordered two pizzas, and they arrived fairly quickly. The girl pointing out the ingredients to serve the pizzas didn't mention one ingredient, so we told her, and she kindly went to ask in the kitchen. She came back and told us that, yes, the pizza also had that ingredient. Too bad that when we tasted it, it was obvious the pizza chef hadn't added any gorgonzola at all. Just for this tease (which I would have paid for!), I agreed to have it remade. A bit rushed, but still good. Very kind staff, though.

Food is well made but drink are ridiculously high… 7.70€ for a dr draft beer or 5.50€ for sodas is overpriced for the establishment..!

I had dinner at Portico again, and unfortunately the prices are very high. All courses are priced similarly, with almost no distinction between appetizers, first courses, and second courses. The cover charge is truly disproportionate despite the table linen: €3.30. The quality/quantity ratio is fairly fair. The food is very good, as is the service from the Chef de Rang (Maitre). I recommend it, knowing that you'll spend a lot for a good meal. This observation comes because in Stintino, there seems to be no price distinction between a high-end restaurant and one of a lower category. I think it's fair to lower the dessert and cover charge. They were very good at finding us a table even though we didn't have a reservation.

After the long day spent at Pelosa beach we were searching for a restaurant for the dinner cause we were starving . Through couple of unfortunate attempts to find a table at restaurants we were walking towards the little port and to our happiness we saw this cozy terrace . Immediately they invited us to a table and we enjoyed the whole evening eating fresh Stintino fish and drinking a glass of Vermont wine . Many thanks to the waiters and staff .

Service could be improved, with greater attention to detail: Once seated at the table, since a bottle of water wasn't ordered, bread wasn't offered (considering the €3.30 cover charge per person) but requested personally. Be more careful about comments between waiters, as they aren't appreciated by diners, who should feel free to make requests of the wait staff. That said, two pizzas and two cocktails were ordered. The wait was excessively long, but I'm positive that both were successful. Greater effort could have been put into the presentation of the pizza, as the appearance also counts. The owner at the cash register was very friendly.

I live in Versilia, where we know a thing or two about fleecing tourists. Yet I had to change my mind; there are people who do better. Can you spend €45 for two Margherita pizzas and two beers? The topped pizzas all cost around €14-15. Prices that really seemed very high to me, especially since the night before, at another local restaurant with a panoramic sea view, similar dishes were 40% cheaper. For the record, the pizza wasn't even that great, and on a weekday in June, with the restaurant half-empty, we even had to wait quite a while. That's a no-no for me.
